Matthew pulled the three closest people to him away from the rest, not caring if they were even ministers or not, and nodded at her lovingly, “These three will do my dear.”

  Moving closer to Matilda, while she closed her eyes, Matthew keenly watched as the Yellow Haven Emperor started to make a big deal about everything, and his guards even started to move to go against Matilda.

  Kin stopped some of them, but no more was done as people suddenly disappeared, making them all stop whatever they were doing anyway.

  “Where did my people go!? Why is this King being treated like this when I have come here…”

  Once again Matilda interrupted him, “Can you not read, Your Majesty?”

  The Yellow Haven Emperor was getting angrier and angrier as time passed!

  Matilda thought that it was a very easy question to answer! She then continued, “I am not here to py games! I am here to make sure that a Golden Haven Emperor is chosen! The invitation had clearly stated up to four people and all I did is lower your people when you had no intention of doing it yourself! Now, can you please follow me to where you will be staying.”

  Turning around, Matilda opened the doors and came to a stop when she heard the Yellow Haven Emperor harshly stated, “Kill her this instant!”

  Matilda turned around and saw both Matthew and Kin stand in front of her. “I will warn you, Your Majesty, that if you lose all your guards, you may have trouble getting back home! Please stand down and remember why you are here!”

  “What are you waiting for!? Kill her!” The Yellow Haven Emperor yelled out.

  In no time at all a skirmish was taking pce, and Matilda got a piece of hair and strengthened it.

  Trusting Kin and Matthew with whoever was with them, Matilda killed others that were coming from anywhere else and then opened her eyes to the lonesome Yellow Haven Emperor that stood there now with only three others of his people. “I did warn you.” Matilda stated, sighing to all the dead bodies and the mess that was now on the floor.

  Kin was a bit fbbergasted to the whole situation, as he was sure he didn’t kill that many!

  There had been about twenty guards, he was sure he killed about four and well his father should have done about the same amount but…They were all dead!

  “You…You!” The Yellow Emperor had no idea on what to say…All he could do was utter these two words and point a finger at her.

  “I told you that I’m not here to py games with you.” Matilda stated, bending down and pcing bodies into her ‘trash’ pile.

  The emperor was a bit of a mess as he couldn’t believe the sudden…What was it that he was seeing in such a small amount of time!?

  As Matilda continued to ‘clean’ up some of the mess, she continued, “By the way, the two here beside me are True Golden Heir’s. They are blood reted to the Golden Emperor’s…Do you think it wise to have your men try to kill them!?”

  Looking up at the emperor, Matilda shook her head and cleaned the st body up.

  “This King was not…You…I was after you!”

  “Silly man…” Matilda stood back up straight and tried to go back to being polite and smiled, “Now, if you please Your Majesty, will you follow me to your living quarters.”

  What is this!? What is she!?

  Dumbfounded, the Yellow Haven Emperor followed quietly, now even scared to his position. He had come with what he thought was enough to keep him safe and so quickly…

  This wasn’t good! He shouldn’t have come!

  But really, all he had needed to do was treat Matilda better and applied to what was written in the invitation…He would have still had his guards!

  Perhaps ‘Sahara’ might have done things a bit differently but Matilda…This was how Matilda was going to be! She had no time to dick around with arseholes!

  Having no idea that the host of this so-called meeting was going to be like this, the Yellow Haven Emperor did not yet regret his words and actions…But he will, he will soon come to see just what power this ‘little girl’ had!

  What Matilda was sighing for now, as she left the Yellow Haven living quarters, was because she had successfully kept the Yellow Haven Emperor from leaving!

  It was lucky!

  If he had left, that’s when shit would really hit the fan!

  Oh, how lucky!

  Sitting down on a chair, Matilda put her head in her hands and tried to calm down.

  “Love? Are you alright?”

  “Mother?”

  Both of them talked at the same time and Matilda smiled into her hands.

  Taking a deep breath, she raised her head and looked at them, then whispered, “I was just grateful that he didn’t turn and leave! That would defeat my purpose!”

  And it sucked that so many already died…Those guards, where they loyal or just doing as they were told?

  Matthew and Kin hadn’t seen it, but Matilda did…More spiritual essence flowed into her.

  Why did people want to test her so much!? Why couldn’t they just be civil!? She was there to help them from becoming nothing! She was helping the world to continue!

  It reminded her of what she had done quite a few times when she had been dead…She had helped people stop and question themselves, sorta helped preventing them from acting through impulse. This King, if she had been able to just get him to stop for a moment and get him to just think that perhaps he should be afraid or just be a bit more civil…

  Perhaps it was all just a lost cause…

  “I’m gd my boys were with me!” Matilda said, finally smiling again, looking at her family.

  Matthew pulled her up by her hand and kissed it, “I’m yours, you know that!”

  Kin knew that he couldn’t say that, instead he said, “And I will use all my power to keep you safe!”

  Ah, I’m so loved!

  How can just one emperor exhaust her so much though! That was just one! There’s was more to come!

  Then, Golden Heir’s…

  Ah, it almost feels painful just thinking about how they’ll all act!

  Matilda suddenly felt like she was doomed!

  Perhaps she won’t make it to the finish line! The Finaly!

  It was just going to be one exhaustion after another, wasn’t it!?

  She could almost feel like she could pull out all her hair by the end of it!

  “Sweetheart…My beloved…What are you doing?”

  Well, perhaps she couldn’t even pull out her hair! Matthew might become the hair police!

  “Nothing…”

  Matilda let out a long sigh and then moved her head around…Was she normal again!?

  God, I hope so!

  Matilda knew that not much time was to pass before another was going to arrive from another area…So they had to leave, like right now!

  Touching both Matthew and Kin, Matilda teleported them to another area that was almost opposite to where they were before.

  This time it was the Purple Haven Emperor…

  Please be a little easier…Please!

  Matilda took in a great breath, while watching them get closer. Automatically she thought her husband and son would do the same and be ready without being told.

  Another Emperor was incoming…

  “You never met Seth didchya Kin.” Matilda stated, still watching the oncoming entourage.

  Kin looked at his mother, “I did meet him after…After you were gone. The Purple Haven Emperor said he would help us if he knew where you were.”

  Matilda closed her eyes for a moment, to what Kin meant, and then got her composure back. “If he hasn’t changed, he should be better than the Yellow Emperor…”

  And just like before, Matilda stood in front, waiting to welcome the emperor and his entourage into Golden Haven. Then, Matthew was closer to the entourage to count, while Kin was even closer again to them to help too…

  “Welcome to Golden Haven!” Matilda stated, trying to show a light and happy smile…

  It wasn’t really that easy, considering not long ago a certain emperor wanted to get his own way…

  “Thank you.”

  With a sigh, Matilda lost a bit of her manners and started to walk closer to the inn that was a bit further away. “If you would follow me, I will show you were you will be staying.”

  Matthew gave Matilda a look, then showed four fingers, which made Matilda happy.

  “Your Highness!”

  In no time the Purple Emperor was out of his carriage and then giving Matthew a smile, “It has been a long time.”

  Emperor Seth wasn’t such a young adult anymore. He was more like a ‘normal’ aged Emperor, in Matilda’s eyes.

  He also had a beard now, much like An.

  “You’ve grown more emperorish now, Seth.” Matilda stated with raised eyebrows.

  With more than one lot of eyes turning to her, Matilda looked around for a moment and then smiled, “I will have you stay in the inn that is slightly further away, since you are a little younger than some of the other emperors. I hope that doesn’t make you feel ill at ease in any kind of way.”

  Emperor Seth had taken a moment to catch his bearings, considering a word that he had not heard in many years…

  “Very well…”

  It went so well that Matilda felt like she had whipsh!

  Emperor Seth had manners and didn’t even say anything about being ‘paid’. Of course, he wanted to be known as an emperor, but he didn’t bring any type of annoyances…

  Walking away from the Purple Haven’s quarters, the three family members looked at each other silently.

  “He didn’t say anything about you.” Kin stated, wondering if perhaps Emperor Seth had forgotten about it and also forgotten what he looked like from when he had st seen him. Poor Kin didn’t get a personal greeting like that of his father…

  Emperor Seth had seen Kin a few years ago but he still looked quite simir!

  “Perhaps he thought it wasn’t the time to talk about personal things.” Matthew stated, putting a hand around his beloved.

  Matilda stayed quiet and just liked how Seth was still quite the rational person. The only problem he had had was with his queen, but otherwise he had ruled quite well by the looks of it.

  There had been another month, after all, where Matilda was able to go through some things at least…And looking into Seth slightly had been something that she had done in that time.

  The Purple Haven was doing much better now. They had no more food problems, and the ‘dark’ days were behind them. There were ministers beside the emperor and then he had about two male heirs wondering around the pace with their own maids and what not…The problem had been with the empress.

  The Empress Sarina was now history, as she was no longer the Empress, but back nearly two decades ago, she had been quite the drama queen.

  I suppose it didn’t help that the woman that Seth started to like and want to be with was the new maiden that came with Sarina from Green Haven…

  Matilda found it quite funny actually, that the next heir would be reted to Green Haven…Actually, Purple Haven was pretty much the only haven not touched by Nate, making the heir well and truly Seth’s! It was most likely known to Nate that Purple Haven probably wouldn’t be worth it because of the mess it was in but now Purple Haven was doing well, especially now that the drama that Sarina had pulled many times while she was empress was now gone!

  Seth just didn’t have the time to deal with her madness! He had not taken her seriously and had let her go too long!

  Well…It really was already the past, but Matilda had tried to tell him, a long time ago, that he can’t just pretend everything was alright…It seems like she had hit the nail on the head at that time.

  It all worked out though, as time had gone past.

  Emperor Seth and his first-born daughter were better for it too, as he no longer had some maddening woman watching over his every move!

  He was quite the person, as it had been years, but he was still very happy about the smallest of things.

  Even during that damned meeting with all the emperor’s, he had tried hard to not stand out too much and be very polite.

  Does he really think that he is a lessor emperor then the others?

  Nonetheless, Matilda decided not to do anything with the information. She had been out of his life now for twenty years and he’s done fine…Why should she say anything to him now!?

  Hell, even being the busy body that she was, Matilda wasn’t even sure on what to say to the man!

  He was ruling well, and he was looking after his family too…He was also able to get over the fact that his eldest daughter was reted to that mad woman and treated her well!

  Perhaps I can just go over his health…Maybe gift him a…You know a clean bill of health for being such a good boy!
