CHAPTER 230 **The First to Arrive**

To Matilda’s amazement, the Green Haven Emperor, know known secretly to herself as a woman because of changing his mind all the time, has left his haven and was on his way to Golden Haven.

She had to move a Divine beast out of someone’s path, as they made their way, but it seemed that the other beasts weren’t as bad as to need her help personally.

The guards they had brought had been enough to keep their travelers from perishing along the way.

Oh shit…Where are all these guards going to stay!?

Matilda came out of her meditation and opened her eyes in shock to her sudden question.

The guards wouldn’t want to be far from their master’s but…There was ‘no room at the inn’.

This was an important event and Matilda wanted to have it so that no fighting was done, unless it was to show the emperor’s the power upon the Golden Heir’s. So…What were they to do with the guards that were coming!?

It really was a good question, as she just had been too busy to think of those people that were always so close to their masters!

She had made room for four people per invitation, but those pces were for the ministers, not the guards!

Getting up and pacing, Matilda put her hand to her chin in thought.

The emperors won’t want their guards far from them, they will probably have a hissy fit if they go too far away, which really only meant…Sahara needed more room now to fit the emperor’s guards…Who were already on their way!

  No pressure!

With being able to see Golden Haven before its demise, Sahara made another building that was very simir to the ‘inn’ that she had created before she had died earlier. The problem was, it wasn’t directly next to it, it was further away from both the other ‘inn’ and the amphitheater.

So…In that case, Matilda had to dedicate specific people and their guards to different pces.

The ‘old’ ones can have the ‘inn’ that was closest to the amphitheater, while the ‘younger’ ones could have the other ‘inn’ that was a bit further away.

Instead of having all of them in one ‘inn’, now they were cut directly in half and the room left was now going to be filled with guards from each pce.

Sadly, some didn’t really have many guards, so their pce might be bigger than others but, she can’t make everything even, it’s just how it’s all come to be!

They are lucky that she was able to accomplish all this before they came! Because really, there was a lot to it!

Not only had she had to start from scratch and make a whole new building, but she had to ‘make’ all the furniture and what not from scratch as well!

Then…Because she had done all this, Matilda had finally allocated all the rooms with Golden letters above the doors. The area in Golden Haven that was the fanciest now was where the two ‘inns’ were and where the amphitheater was…A lot more gold writing was around and Matilda made sure it looked pretty good, considering how important this event was. Hell, this even might be written in the history’s and so, how pathetic it would be if they weren’t probably taken care of!

No, she wanted to show how important the meeting was through how the rooms were and how decorative the pce had gotten.

The trouble about the emperor’s and the Golden Heir’s that were all coming from all directions, was that a few got stuck in a storm…And yes, it was that same type of storm that seemed to happen every year.

Matilda had no other idea but to do as she had done before, which was to create walls to keep the people within safer from the storm, leaving only one opening to remind them which way they were going.

It had terrified the hell out of them, as they had not heard or seen something like that ever in their lives, but when they finally accepted that nothing was going on that was hurting them, they adapted to the new roof that was getting them away from the wind and rain.

Actually, they hadn’t done too badly before Matilda stepped in. People had their cultivations too, the problem was they were out in the middle of nowhere and were unfamiliar with the terrain. They had used a few different ways to keep them from being in trouble. One was just using wind against wind, making some type of bubble around them to stop the wind from interfering with them too much. Another thing they were doing was taking the water out of the dirt, so that their carriages or horses weren’t going to get stuck. But, if you were to put their cultivation ideas against Matilda’s, who pretty much let them stop using their cultivation and rest, there was a huge difference.

How did I ever think that I was going to remain unknown? I would have had to use my powers for so many things and it just seems I was just being na?ve if I wanted to stay in the shadows!

It wasn’t the first time that Matilda felt like an idiot to her previous thoughts upon returning back to life. This was just one circumstance that popped up and she quickly had to do something to get them out of the rain and so all she could think of was something she had already done and so her ‘power’ was being seen so easily!

And yes…The people who were happily staying out of the storm now really wanted to know who it was that helped them out! They had asked everyone in their vicinity, to find that none of their own had done it…

A few earth cultivators took in the idea, having not been able to help much previously simply because the wind or rain might just make the earth worse, but now they wondered if perhaps they could have done something simir…Could their earth still withstand?

To let them know who was responsible for their ‘covered and safe’ rest, Matilda put upon the roof some gold stars and sighed…

Well, hopefully they won’t be too many problems when they get to Golden Haven then, because they had already seen that someone is powerful. Quickly searching, to see what group it was, Matilda found it to be the Red Haven’s Emperor.

Ah, well, hopefully they will be well behaved…

Matilda didn’t want to bring up and use against them that she had helped bring back their real emperor in the past, who was still alive, to keep them in check.

Actually, from all the emperor’s that she had met before her death, Matilda was surprised that all of them seemed to be still alive and still the emperor!

Did no one die anymore? Well, except for me…Pfft!

For a moment, Matilda lost track of what she was doing…

Watching so many figures making their way over and always having to remember to give food to those who were away, like An and Katherine, Matilda was just too busy to think or do anything else!

Before she knew it, that ‘traveling’ month was nearly gone and some were right on the doorstep of Golden Haven!

“Welcome to Golden Haven, Your Majesty.” Matilda had sighed to this, but she was the one that put herself as the host…Well, this was all her doing, so…

With a slight but polite bow, Matilda then smiled at the newcomer, “It is my pleasure to welcome you here to Golden Haven!”

Cutting herself short, Matilda had wanted to state more about the change that will occur, but she was reading the atmosphere and realized that the people in front of her just wanted to rest. “Please follow me and I will show you to where you will be residing while you stay here.”

“This King would like reassurance upon why I have been summoned here, young dy.”

So quickly they want to get paid! So greedy…

Already knowing that they would all probably ask this of her so soon she had already put the bck sum token on the bed of the main person invited.

Matilda looked up and smiled, trying to remain normal and friendly, “If the ‘reassurance’ you mean is by a promised payment, I have already pced the first payment of a bck sum token in your main room…Now, if you would follow me.”

Matthew watched with keen eyes as the first visitor, the Yellow Haven Emperor, came through.

Counting the entourage, Matthew shook his head…They had too many people.

Shaking his head towards his beloved, he saw her nod back at him and then he turned to his son Kin to nod at him.

Kin watched his father walk away, closer to his mother, as he stayed behind to be one of the ‘Golden Haven’s guards’.

They wanted to trust that they’ll all be civil, that they knew that they were all here for an important meeting that will change the future of everyone for the better but…Humans were…Humans. They must have thought that since they were ‘important’ they should be able to get away with doing whatever they wanted to do. Self-importance…

Their problem with getting away with that was…Matilda!

She had already stated the numbers and wanted to keep it that way, keep it equal and so…Whether they liked it or not, trouble was coming their way.

Matilda would be stupid if she trusted everyone that was coming through the Golden Haven anti-beast barrier.

Even Christian wanted to keep a watchful eye upon those who were coming from far away!

It was strange though, as the Yellow Haven Emperor came through in his glory of fine garments, while his entourage were all in need of a shower and a fresh set of clothes…Then, to see Matilda, Matthew and Kin in some type of golden clothes that looked almost like it sparkled.

It was easy to see that the people wearing a gold type color were going to be the ones to show them the way.

Of course, the most beautiful one was Matilda, and that isn’t just Matthew’s thoughts!

She had on a more modern earth type of dress, which didn’t go to the ground but still looked quite elegant, considering she was showing more skin than the average woman in Haven’s on this current pnet.

What had made Matthew feel better was that even though he had to accept his beloved looking so lovely to other men, he knew that under that dress she was still wearing some type of manly clothing, except it was a bit tighter. All in all, Matilda was wearing a dress that scattered around her knees and then leggings underneath. The skin that others could see where her arms and the top of her chest, but she looked far from looking like a prostitute!

How was it that Matthew was still so smitten with her and still finding everyday so fulfilling!?

Anyway…Matilda stopped in front of the ‘inn’, that the Yellow Haven Emperor was going to be staying in and looked at him expectantly.

The Yellow Haven Emperor narrowed his eyes at her but did see that he was not going to go any further upon the chair he was sitting on…It was simply just too big!

Really, he had to ride a carriage for most of the trip! He’d really only just sat on it! And already he had to get off!

  “Lower!” He stated.

Trying to show that he was a man of great power, even as he was getting down, the Yellow Haven Emperor slowly made his way in front of Matilda and opened his fan, “This King is now ready.”

Matilda was unfazed with the man trying to show his power and wanting to be in charge of the process and raised her eyebrows. “Who will be the four that will be staying in the Yellow Haven living quarters?”

It was an obvious question, telling the Yellow Haven Emperor that he had brought too many people.

“This King will allow all of my entourage to stay.” He stated, raising his head and sighed dramatically to his obvious disapproval to be still waiting.

“That’s nice, that you want to do whatever you want, but this is a rule and if you don’t answer me properly, I will choose the four myself and send the others back. Now, for the st time, Your Majesty, who will be the three others that will be staying in the main Yellow Haven living quarters!?”

Matilda smiled at the emperor and waited, not budging from in front of the double doors of the ‘inn’.

“How dare you speak to this King like this! Take this woman and beat her! Not only is she trying to go against this King, she is…”

“Matthew, pick three people.” Matilda stated, interrupting the emperor rudely.

She’d asked twice, politely, and still he wanted to think this was a game! Actually, considering it was in the letter, you could probably say that she had stated it three times!

  That was enough!
