Floor 7.
More of the same, defeat goblin here, defeat goblin there, that one has a weapon, defeat it, ups, a slime is in front of her, I guess she has to defeat him and so on. A lot of the goblins are still unarmed and the ones that do have a weapon, said weapon is made of wood for some reason, though this does increase their rank up to E-. In this floor she has defeated 35 monsters, close to 30% more than the previous floor, the reason for this increase is all because of the goblins as there are more of them. The medium slimes still have trouble identifying her even though they hang in groups, the goblins on the other hand, don't have such troubles as they can easily spot Kiana. Just like the slimes they also have the tendency to be in groups, ones that in the current floor, they vary from 3-5 goblins. The total number of defeated monsters is now at 92. Not a small number at all, maybe it really is worth doing this after all.
Floor 8.
Hmm, things sure are getting slowly more interesting. The layout of the dungeon has changed quite drastically, and the same can be said about the length. The space itself is narrower, having only 5 meters of width, basically making it a corridor from how tight it feels, for a normal human being it’s more than wide enough to move around but the same cannot be said in terms of combat, this alone makes it a nightmare to move around. This small fact will force Kiana to basically defeat anything that crosses her path as she simply cannot avoid any monsters at all. However, it seems the dungeon knows of this and the total of monsters have dropped drastically, making Kiana only defeat 30 of them and mind you, this number is the entirety of the monsters that were there. Not only that, the goblins no longer are in groups nor the slimes, making things even easier for her. With this, she has defeated a total of 122 monsters.
Floor 9.
Exactly the same as the previous one in terms of layout but, much harder this time around. Not really, at least for Kiana. What’s different here is the amount of monsters present, the goblins once again are in groups but never more than 3 at a time and the slimes are in pairs. Although from the sheer amount of killing she has done until now and on this floor alone I would easily classify her as a murderer. Yep.
“Oie! I’m not such a thing! I’m just doing my duty as an adventurer and I’m cleaning the house! I’m taking care of the pests! Ye-Yeah! I’m the pest control woman!”
Yes, yes, keep on making excuses you demn murdero! Anyway, her monster murdering count is the following; in the 9th floor she has defeated an astounding 47 monsters totalling a monstrosity of 169 monsters defeated.
Floor 10.
Ah, here she is, at the boss floor! Finally, a worthy opponent for our and not definitely murderer, Kiana! Yes, in this dungeon, each 10 floors there is the so-called “boss floor”, one that you have to defeat and conquer to be able to progress further down the dungeon. Think of these as a test for your current strength and to see if you are worthy for the next treasures per say. In these floors it’s where said checkpoints are activated, ones that can be activated after defeating the boss. Since Katarina said that, there are no checkpoints in here it either means that the boss was never defeated or, they never found said checkpoints and I more than believe this was the case. Something about this screams “incompetence”.
Before we go to the epic battle, as anyone can guess, this is drastically different from the previous nine floors. The first noticeable thing is that it's a “room” rather than a dungeon floor. What I mean by this is that, the layout is similar to the lobby, smaller of course, with the same materials used as in the lobby, concrete on the ceiling, polished marble in the tiles and so on. From the perspective that Kina currently has, in this case she just descended down the set of stairs, in front of her at the end of the room there is a colossal door, one that rivals the one from the entrance and one that seems to be only open once the boss is defeated. In the middle, between the stairs and the door there is an arena, one that has a shape of a circle, and a big one at that. This more than gives the idea that Kiana will fight the boss in this area, however there are no signs of him or at least for now. The ceiling is beyond tall, way more than necessary, easily being above 20 meters tall. The room itself is fully lit and this time around with normal lights rather than those blueish lights from those small magic gems, in this case, it actually seems to be using a Light spell from a magic circle placed throughout the walls to illuminate the room. Well then, without any time to waste at all, Kiana walks up to the centre of the arena, and until now, nothing has happened, though, something did catch her attention when she reached the middle of the area.

“What is this?”
She lifts up her right eyebrow as she says this, as she’s confused to what’s in front of her. She also tilts her head slightly as she inspects the “thing” in front of her and with her arms crossed she tries to understand said “thing”. It’s a device made of stone with roughly 1 meter of height and the width and length with a square meter, then at the top, there is a rather exquisite concrete pallet with at least 10 centimetres of thickness, slightly bigger than the pillar itself in terms of width and length. At the top of this pallet there are three square buttons each one with drawings on it. To make things even more confusing to her, below these there are a few words carved on the pallet, these squares buttons are exactly the same size, dividing the pallet in three almost equal parts, with at least 5 centimetres between each button. These buttons are at the top of the pallet itself, and the words are right at the middle while the rest of it is empty, completely smooth even. Anyway, from her right, the button there, it has a monster drawn on it and bellow the word says “easy”, the middle one has two monsters draw on it and bellow it’s written “normal”, while the left button has three monsters on it and bellow it’s written “hard”.
Alright, from this we can take a few conclusions. First of all, this is beyond odd, normally what happens in a dungeon is that, the moment you set foot inside of the boss floor the boss either greets you in that very instant and mind you, he can do the greeting with an attack, or, once you go past a certain point, normally at around the middle of the floor, then, the boss spawns. In this case, it seems Kiana has 3 choices to choose from and if we take it literally, from the easiest to the hardest. From the drawings I would say that the only difference between the difficulties is the number of monsters.
With this in mind she will make the best decision for her of course, while there are for example three monsters drawn in the hardest button it does not necessarily mean that, it will only be three monsters, and the same can be said about the two other options. Not only that, from the drawings we also cannot know the type of monsters that might appear, it might be a trap, an attempt of luring the ignorant to choose the easiest one while in reality, it might actually be the hardest one for example. After all, who tells us that the single monster is not for example an A rank monster? In this case that does not seem possible since it is only the 10th floor, however that might happen in the future. Anyone really, even myself, we have to be extremely careful in these situations, a bad decision can lead to disaster consequences, ones that can bring death to yourself and or to those near you. Ah, who am I kidding? Of course, Kiana knows all of this! She has been an adventurer for years! She will never make a decision based in bunch of drawings-
“The more the merrier, I say!”
Bip!
Alright, what the hell is wrong with her? No hesitation at all! No Magic Sense at all! Not only that, with the biggest smile on her face, she presses the hardest button. Just why though? What about traps?
“Argh, I’m bored, that’s why! I did use my Magic Sense skill for traps and there was nothing. I’ve been walking for more than 2 hours!”
Alright, alright, no need to shout. I get it, you’re bored, even I would be to be honest. That’s what happens when you tackle a dungeon that is far below your level. Moving on then, the moment she pressed the button down, the device disappeared mere moments later, in a magical way at that, slowly turning transparent and then puff! Gone with the wind, if there is any. However, as her eyes are stuck looking at the device and its shenanigans, a few meters from her, behind and in the front, several monsters appear, exactly the same way as the device disappeared, in a magical way and with the wind. In other words, she’s surrounded by monsters, ten in the front and another ten at the back. Oooo, things really are about to get fun, although-
Boing! Boing! Boing!
They all are slimes however, two of them quickly grab her attention, she was not expecting to see them here at all.
