Tired Student- Wait, next stage? What do you mean by that? Was this questionnaire not enough? Wh-Why!? Oh god, why do you hate us so much! I will never pray to you ever again!
That sure is an overreaction, he’s unnecessary loudly, he moves around exuberantly so much so that he got on his knees as he was cursing the gods he might actually not believe. However, he’s not the only one where pure despair hits dead on, on their fragile hearts, the other two of course they also panic, sweats start to fall down although one of them already is sweating profoundly but, let’s move on before they all fill this room with their sweat.
Taniah- Why are you so surprised? You work with magic, having me asking a bunch of questions of how everything has been going and why you haven’t had the best results is not enough to make sure everything is going smoothly and, you should already know that from previous years inspections. What’s left to do is a physical inspection of your workplace, not only to know if you are proceeding correctly but also to see if the environment is secure for you to do your research. I know this room is where you work the theory so not much that I can see here in that realm, what I want to see is the practical room downstairs, that is the place where you actually do the experiments on or, it should at least be the case, right?
Female Student- Ah! So that’s why you haven’t finished yet! Why didn’t you say it earlier! I thought you wanted to do something else, like for example, physically inspect our bodies and what we might have on us. Sigh! That’s such a relief!
Seriously, did she even think a little before saying all of this crap? Not only that, she did so with a massive smile on her face! What do you even mean by “inspect our bodies”?
What?
Taniah- Now that you’ve said that, I probably should do something like that, just to make sure you actually don’t have anything on you that you shouldn’t have.
See!? And now, you can see the damn dreadful look on her face, one that went from a smile from one ear to the other quickly transforming into pure horror as she finally understands the stupidity that came out of her mouth. This is exactly why you think before saying anything, did she let her intrusive thoughts out the world by mistake?
Normal Student- Miss President, there is no need for that, she was just jesting with you. The mood has been a little too sour and that is why she unfortunately told this joke. I say unfortunately, because of the way she said it, it really was a na?ve way to brighten up the mood.
“A joke you say... Just take me to the experiment room before I change my mind.”
She really is getting angry, her patience is running thin by each passing second but, they more than deserve it. It almost feels that, they are not taking this serious at all but, moving, with a nod of agreement, the “normal student” leads the pack away towards the experiment room, in this case they first walk up to a door at the end of the room, from there they are greeted by a staircase that descends down, one that has close to twenty or so stairs? Anyway, once they have fully descended them, they “enter” the experiment room.
This room is quite big, a good place to do experiments if I do say so myself, a room with easily 15 meters of length and width or in other words, with 225 square meters. This not only allows for them to do experiments with good space, they can also do multiple of them at once and for last, a rather big one if they so desire. This room is of course “empty”, there is a few equipment here and there, a few cabinets right next to the staircase, a table right in the middle of the room, probably used to write whatever results they have and so on, this only occupies a little space of the room however, throughout the room there are several rather thick pillars, ones that are easily with a meter of length and width, used to support the weight from above. Because of this, next to the pillars themselves they cannot do experiments or they have to reduce the scale drastically. Either way, the floor, the walls, the pillars and even the ceiling, they are all made of concrete although the ceiling might just be because of the painting that is giving me that impression. I didn’t mention but, the room is rather well illuminated and to the wall at the left, there are a few small windows right at the top, these ones are not enough to fully illuminate the room but they do give a decent light.

Taniah- Quite the space you have here, don’t you think? Many special classes can only wish and dream for something like this and yet, here we have a special class that is going down the reputation with said accommodations. Just a small observation, don’t pay attention to me. However, I can say that, from a quick look, everything seems to be “fine”. A little dirty and that alone will cost all of you in that department but, since the magic circle is already active, I will not say too much. Maybe. I do have to ask; did you forget to deactivate this one too? Or were you sneaky and activated at the same time as the other one?
Normal Student- Surely you jest, Miss President, we would never do such a thing towards someone of your status. Unfortunately, the one at the top we just forgot to turn it on as we have the tendency to shut it down once the day is over but since yesterday, we had such a busy time with normal classes that we forgot to activate it. This one however, it’s always active.
And he just said something interesting, something that I and Kiana, we were the only ones to notice although Taniah is a little suspicious but for other reasons, she’s more so because her patience is running beyond thin. What caught our interest was the fact that he said that this magic circle is always active but reality couldn’t be so much different. What happened was that, Taniah was right, they did activate this magic circle when they activated the one at the top and I believe that, all of them know that. They really are digging their own grave after all, if Taniah ends up finding this, finding that not only they are lying to her, they also are putting themselves and everyone near them in danger as these magic circles are used for safety reasons, I can only imagine what will happen to them and their special class. Now, Kiana is having a dilemma, should she just straight out say this to Taniah or, should she wait? I think she should tell her at the end, once this is all done. In my opinion, she should let them think they can get away with all of their shenanigans this way, she will have even more “dirty” for Taniah to know about it.
Female Student- Miss President-san, can I ask what you will be doing? What do you mean by second stage? What’s left to do? As you can see, everything is in order, I think? I mean, we should clean it more often but, we really are busy! Ye-Yeah! That’s why we don’t have time for it…
Taniah- Yes, yes, I get it. Your special class is indeed special and therefore, you are filled with work up to your necks and that is why your performance last year was that fabulous. In case you have forgotten, which you did, the second stage will be composed on inspecting the room itself. I and my colleagues, we will simply check the structure of this room. What I mean by this is that, we will see every wall, pillar, the floor, the ceiling, everything that is part of the structure of the building itself. The objective of this is to see if everything is in good condition so that you can keep doing your amazing job in safety. After all, none of us want the ceiling to collapse while you’re doing your “job”, right? Although from the fact that you forgot to turn on the magic circle at the top, it makes me wonder how much you care about safety.
Tired Student- Ye-Yeah that would be bad... I wouldn’t want something like that to happen to any of us, but… We do care about our safety, we just forgot to activate this time, however! I have to say that, this is not our job, this is the responsibility of the Academy, not ours.
Taniah- Oh? Already throwing any responsibility that you might have towards others, are we? Although, in a sense you’re correct, that is why I am here. However, since you have failed to understand this, you have the duty and responsibility to report to the Academy or the student council anything that seems dangerous to you. For example, if a wall has a massive crack on it, you have to report it, as you can guess, maybe, you don’t seem that bright to begin with, having said massive crack can and will compromise the safety of the entire room as the wall can collapse or part of it, at in any giving moment. However, I do have good news for you, if you do end up reporting such a case, there won’t be any punishment towards you or your class in fact, it will be fixed right after that.
Normal Student- I understand what you are saying Miss President, sometimes things here get a little bit shaky and dangerous. If we ignore said massive crack on the wall and because of that, if one of our experiments ends up being the breaking point of it, making it collapse on top of us, not only it’s beyond irresponsible on our part, it’s also something that we can easily prevent from happening.
Taniah- That is correct, while you have failed to provide acceptable results in the previous year, your safety triumphs above all and in this case, not only you are putting yourself in danger, you are also putting those that have nothing to do with this in said danger. I think you can understand that, this is something that none of us will tolerate in case it happens. I will give you a chance to redeem yourselves, if there is something here that you think does not look right, say it.
After exchanging some looks with each other, none of the members says anything, from this alone it more than seems that, they never thought about it let alone actually take the diligence to look around for any anomalies. Oh boy, I really hope they don’t find anything at all, in case you haven’t noticed yet, Taniah really is annoyed, disappointed and angry at them, with this alone I can say that, she won’t be leaving a good “review” however, their attitudes are basically the final drop of the bucket, it won’t end “well” for them, not at all.
