“Is everyone here or do we still have to wait for someone else? You don’t know this since you weren’t here but, you only have three minutes before I start the periodic inspection.”
Normal Student- No Miss President, everyone is here, you can start the inspection. However, let me apologise for being late, though just like my fellow classmates here said, unfortunately some professors were doing a questionnaire and they happen to see us as targets for such. We tried our best to leave quickly but it seems the questions were never ending.
Taniah- The other one has already said that, repeating it again won’t make it more believable. However, since the three of you are in such a symphony, mind telling me what it was about? Normally they go to the student council first about these types of data gatherings after all, it’s also part of the student council to help out the professors, teachers and everyone here, as these data gatherings normally are made with the goal of improving the Academy. This can be by directly improving the students, teachers or other workers' lives or indirectly, by improving the Academy itself.
Normal Student- Now that you’ve said that Miss President, there were indeed a few members of the student council with the professors in fact, they were the ones that stopped us first. Maybe it was something they decided to do during lunch and forgot to tell you? About what it was, they were asking about entertainment, more so how we spend our free time. What do we do to entertain ourselves in that time to be more correct. It was nothing too complicated or philosophical either, just a few simple questions although there were quite a few of them.
“(Either he is lying or someone is doing this behind my back… I will have to check this later.)”
Now, now, this is rather interesting to say the least. Just like Taniah said, either this way to calm and polite student is lying or, the student council is acting behind her back. He mentioned that they might have just decided on something in the “heat” of the moment per say but even then, they didn’t bother to at the very least warn Taniah about it. There is a good chance they know where she is and what she’s doing… No, they know it and yet, here we are… Something is not adding up however, it’s not like Taniah has any type of evidence to affirm that he's lying.
Tired Student- Ye-Yeah! That’s what they were asking us! A little weird I think, from all the things they could be asking… Though, why do they even want to know that? What I do in my free time is my own problem, no? What, are they going to judge me for what I decide to do?
Female Student- I think you are missing the point, maybe they want to do something big in the near future? Yeah! And they are trying to understand what we like so that the Academy can come up with something pretty cool! Oh my, this is starting to look really good! I can’t wait to see what they will be doing!
Taniah- Calm down, no need to get so excited. Anyway, let’s just start the inspection as we have already wasted too much time. Before that, I will start with the formalities. I’m the President of the Student Council, Taniah Clarence and these two behind me are my colleagues. They will be helping me out with the inspection and just like I told the only one that was here in time, none of them will be touching anything without consent. And please, just activate the magic circle, for how long are you going to wait?
Magic noises!
With a panicked look on their face and as quickly as they can, the fat man, the tired student and the female student, the three of them activate said magic circle, the one on the floor in this case. Although, you should’ve seen their faces, seriously, you can easily tell the sheer panic just from looking at them. However, for some odd reason, the normal student just stood still looking at Alice and Kiana with a rather menacing look on his eyes. I mean, Kiana is pretty cute but, you aren’t going anywhere while staring at her with that dreadful look on your face, just stop that!
Taniah- Finally, how long did it take for you guys to activate the magic circle? Was it 20 minutes? That sure is a good start if I say it myself and, if the incident from last year happens again, it does not even need to be in the same scale, I just need a student to come up to the student council that, they got injured, even if it is a small graze, I will do everything on my power to shut this down, you heard me? Don’t be so careless next time. You have been warned, there won’t be a second time. Moving on, I need all of you to answer a few questions that I have…

And so, after saying all of this with a rather disappointed look on her face and with a rather cold tone of voice, she begins her questionnaire. She basically asks a few things about the Magic Circle special class itself, why were the last year results worse than the previous one, why do they have fewer members and so on. Nothing too complicated and to be honest, also nothing that she does not know already, it more than seems that she wants to know and even understand their opinions and point of view. She wants to hear from them what led them to reach this position, what led them to have worse results compared to the previous year. While she’s doing this, both Alice and Kiana are having a look around, it seems they have calmed down and to be honest, since the door was open, the toxic smoke cloud has basically vanished into the air or should I say, contaminated the air?
“(Kiana, did you find anything suspicious at all? I can sense magic all around me to several degrees but, I’m not able to distinguish what is from what.)”
Alice is the first one to speak, whispering to Kiana silklike pale left ear, it seems she’s doing her best to identify all the magic sources but just like she said, she’s not having too much luck on doing so. She can sense the magic right beneath her feet, the magic from all the windows, from the door and so on, however, what she actually senses is just that, magic on those specific spots and not what’s causing them.
Kiana- (Ah, that will take a little longer as not only you have to sense the origin point of where the magic is coming from, you will also have to decipher the type of information your Magic Sense skill is getting. While you cannot sense the elements present in said magic, you need a different skill for that, you can actually sense the different types of magic. In this case, all the windows have a magic circle on them, with Magic Sense you can sense that the magic circle on them is in fact a barrier magic circle. You can also sense the difference between a support spell from an offensive spell, a healing spell and so on, they all have different properties that you can identify with Magic Sense.)
Alice- (I really need to study how Magic Sense skill really works; you just keep on surprising me with all of that knowledge. While you can see differences between magic circles, if you don’t know what you are looking at, they all are the same. The element part is something that I will be asking you later on, for now, is that why you didn’t open the windows? I was actually praying to all gods that you would be successful in doing so but since I got distracted with our dictator laying down punishment on those that she sees beneath them, so much so that, I forgot about it.)
Her tone of voice is quiet and soft after all, she still is whispering to Kiana however, from what she said at the end you can easily notice the sudden change in Alice tone towards a more jokingly one and of course, her sharp eyes have quite the mischievous look on her face. Kiana on the other hand, she’s a little confused to what Alice means after all, the “dictator” is referring to Taniah.
Kiana- (Erm yes, since Taniah told us to not touch anything that has a magic circle on them, I decided to not open them up. But! I more than wanted to do that. It's just that, I didn’t want to offend Taniah “orders”… She’s doing her best and I didn’t want to disturb her.)
Ah Kiana, you really are a kind soul, aren’t you? And I’m not the only one that thinks like this as Alice goes from a mischievous look on her face to a rather soft one. Right after that, she gently flashes a smile at Kiana as she understands her reasons for what she did or didn’t do in this case and from here, she casually walks up to one of the windows and opens it up. Meanwhile, while they were talking to each other Taniah on the other hand, she has just finished her questioning towards the Magic Circle members. The moment she finishes her questionnaire you can literally see the relief look on their faces, except the normal student that is, he still is looking towards both Alice and Kiana with said menace look on his face. Does he have any problem with Alice at all? I say Alice because Kiana has no clue who he is but now that I’m saying this, he might as well be a friend to one of those students that were bullying Anya. I didn’t mention but, he was actually the one that answered most of the questions. It's just that, each time he was done answering he would switch his gaze towards them, carefully looking at what they might be doing. I don’t like him at all, something is off, I mean, if Kiana is that cute just walk up to her and talk to her! Don’t be a damn creep-
“Since I’m done with my questions, let’s move on to the next stage. This was only the first part.”
Huh, she sure flashed quite the “smile” at them, or should I say smirk filled with “evil” thoughts? I wasn’t expecting that, that’s for sure and the same can be said about the trio, yes the trio, the other one still hasn’t switched his gaze at all from Alice and Kiana.
