Re-Estize Kingdom, Bleakrock Vilge(Bellriver 1st)"It's good to see you, old friend." Momon, or Momonga, my guildmate, said as he pulled me into a hug.

My mind was racing; how was he here? How did he find me? Why is he wearing [Warrior] gear and cospying as some adventurer?

I shut my thoughts off briefly and hugged one of my few friends back.

"I have so many questions," I said as I pulled away from Momongas's embrace. How are you here?"

He ughed. "Bellriver, I'm hurt that this is your reaction to seeing one of your best friends in months, or one year, four months, and 27 days for me. To answer your question, I stayed to the very end when YGGDRASIL shut down. After the timer finished counting down, I found myself in this new world. Now it's my turn for one. How are you here?"

"Well . . . I'm not sure how to say this, but I died." I had just begun to notice the fighting behind Momonga. Naberal, was it? She was massacring the remaining warrior priests using a variety of mid-level spells.

Turning my attention back to my guildmate, he grabbed me. He was angry and said in a low voice, "What did you just say?"

"Calm down, Momonga!" He released me; my shoulders felt sore. Even though he was a spellcaster, Momonga still had a firm grip.

Embarrassed, he apologized, "Sorry. I just couldn't bear thinking about one of my friends getting hurt. But tell me about it ter, and let's get out of here." He looked over his shoulder, seeing that the rest of the 'pests', as he had called them, were all incapacitated.

"Come," he turned and began walking; I decided to follow. I wasn't the only thing from our guild to be transported into this world," the lich stopped and stood idle. A swirled bck mass appeared before me before I could ask what was wrong. I recognized it as the [Gate] spell. "The entirety of our guild base arrived with me, " he said just before stepping into the bck mass.

  I followed.

The Great Tomb of Nazerick(POV 3rd)Bellriver stepped through the [Gate] and arrived in an opulent throne room with more gold than he could ever imagine. He was momentarily overwhelmed by a sense of wonder before it suddenly disappeared, repced by a calmness.

Returning to his home away from home, the walls were lined with tapestries representing each of his guildmates. Each was made from the highest-quality materials. He felt nostalgic seeing them, remembering the countless hours spent grinding for the materials needed to make everything that adorned Nazerick.

  "Reminiscing about old times?"

It was then that Bellriver realized that he had stopped just before getting to the exit and that there was more than him and Momonga in the throne room. Judging by the scattered cleaning implements on the ground, a few maids were tending to the room before he arrived. Now, they were bowing, with their heads touching the ground, it felt . . . strange.

Ignoring that feeling, he turned to Momonga, responding to his question: "Yeah, Momonga, I've missed this. I missed all the good times we had here."

"Come on, let's talk somewhere private. I'll brief you on everything; by the way, I go by Ainz Ooal Gown now." He looked down at his current attire and muttered, "Almost Forgot," before his body was covered in a dark purple sheen, repcing his pte armor with the majestic purple robes he always wore. "And you all," he said, turning to the maids, " None of you saw anything."

"Y-yes, Lord Ainz." one of them replied and sunk even further into the ground.

Momonga, or Ainz Ooal, pushed the throne room door open with Bellriver in tow.

"Where are we going?" Bellriver asked quizzically.

"Do you remember how much time and effort we spent building this base?"

"Yeah, why?" the [Flesh Monstrosity] replied, sidestepping a maid who had seen them and decided to

"You know how obsessed with perfection Whitebrim was?" The overlord continued.

  "Also, yes. Why the questions?"

"Just making sure you're real and not a hallucination. [Message], Albedo, gather all the guardians and meet us in Odin's Hall."

{Yes, my Lord, but what is the oc-} The succubus was cut off before she finished.

Soon, the two [Pyers] reached Odin's Hall, the primary meeting room for all guild-reted matters, used by their guildmates before real-life issues caused most of the guild to leave the game. Bellriver stood at the doorway, admiring the intricate details of this once-digital room. He reminisced about all the time Momonga and Punnitto Moe spent strategizing the best pces to farm for gear, resources, and XP.

Snapping out of his daze, he noticed Ainz at the guildmaster's usual seat. He could tell that Ainzwas looking at him expectingly, so he walked over to sit beside his guildmaster.

Before Bellriver could ask the question that lingered on his mind, Ainz suddenly sprang up and enveloped him in another hug.

"Ahhhh, Bellriver! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE." The overlord dramatically said.

  "Me t-"

"YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I MISSED YOU GUYS. THE WHOLE REASON I'M TAKING OVER THE WORLD IS FOR ALL OF YOU!" Ainz continued.

Bellriver was somewhat stunned at his friend's dispy but ultimately not surprised, given Ainz's personality. He decided to do the only thing that would calm him down.

He broke out of Ainz's hug, got up, and spped him.

The skeleton's head comically spun around like a wheel before his hands grabbed it to stop the spinning.

"What was that for?" Ainz sounded an equal amount confused and hurt.

The [Flesh Monstrosity] retorted: "You always get hysterical when you're excited and start yelling and doing all sorts of weird things!"

  "I do?!" Ainz sounded shocked.

"You don't remember the Novrosk Incident?" It was more of a statement than a question.

"Of course I do! It wasn't that bad." He waved the question/statement off.

"You started a city-wide brawl that resulted in everyone getting temp-bans!"

The silence sted only a few moments before the duo burst into ughter, ending with Bellriver giving his friend a full-force hug.

"But in all series. It's good to see you again." Bellriver replied with his honest thoughts, which prompted a chuckle from Momonga.

As the two separated, the overlord said: "You know, it feels so good talking with someone who sees me as an equal without all those formalities."

  "What do you mean?"

It was like a torrent spilling from a dam on the brink of colpse, only to break until a flood of criticisms emerged. Bellriver could tell that his friend was pent up and needed this rant, so he listened to everything Momonga said.
