Chapter 3: A Train

That mistake was that they had either accidentally or intentionally changed some details inside the Magical Formation, causing the Meat Egg's taste to reach even the flesh and blood of living creatures, not just the pre-prepared fuels anymore.

Because the fuel was insufficient, they decided to expand the Egg's taste a little more, the added things included all kinds of gasoline, blood, and flesh of any kind of living creatures.

The reason why there was flesh and blood of living creatures in here was because the Egg's original fuel was originally quite closely related to blood and flesh, if they wanted to change its taste to things like wood or coal now, it would be too late, doing so would be very time-consuming, and what they lacked the most at that moment was time itself.

The original plan was to hunt and kill animals around this area to refuel, but somehow it turned into they killing themself and in the end, everyone died.

The plot was just like a movie.

Voma put away the diary and then looked up at the sky. In the distance, he felt a bad omen. From the distant sky, it seemed like something very dark was heading towards him.

"Deadly dangerous..." Voma's intuition kept warning him, so he didn't hesitate anymore and ran to grab the corpse of the werewolf he had just killed, then threw it into the circle with the six-pointed star.

Voma ran around searching for a while and found a train with only two cars nearby, one passenger carriages and one locomotive carriages.

However, unlike normal trains, these two cars were extremely huge in size. Voma calculated with his eyes that their height was equal to a two-story building.

  "A train... huh."

Strangely enough, this train had no tracks.

Voma entered the locomotive car and found that the inside was extremely spacious, at least twenty meters long, eight meters wide and the inside was divided into two different floors, just like a house.

After searching around for a while, Voma finally found what he was looking for, it was a lighter with a silver case.

Finding what he needed, Voma returned to the Meat Egg, took the lighter out and quickly lit all six candles.

As soon as the sixth candle was lit, a gloomy presence suddently appear, causing Voma to quickly retreat out of the range of the Magical Formation.

The lines drawn on the ground began to flash a strange crimson glow that resembled fresh blood, not only that, the hidden details gradually revealed their true identity.

A pipe with a complex structure suddenly appeared from the air, one end of the pipe connected to the meat egg, the other end pointed towards the corpse of the werewolf lying inside the circle with the six-pointed star drawn on it.

The fresh corpse of the werewolf suddenly turned into countless rays of light and was quickly sucked into the pipes by some invisible force.

Voma knew at a glance that those beams of light, after undergoing the purification of Magical Formation, would turn into pure nutrients for the egg to absorb.

While Voma was still happy to see that the job had been done, a chilling feeling suddenly came, causing goosebumps to appear all over his body. He couldn't help but sweat profusely as he turned his head around, instinctively looking towards the sky behind him.

He only saw that the sky, which had always been dark and terrifying, had now become even heavier and more rotten.

Voma could feel that something extremely evil and extremely dark was continuously spreading towards him, as if some kind of terrible disease was continuously infecting this entire sky.

That scene made Voma shiver in fear, wanting to quickly run away from this place as far as possible.

"No... no! I have to calm down! The speed at which that thing spread was too fast, even if I can run faster than it, I won't be able to maintain the speed for long." Although he was frightened, the young man still maintained enough reason to think clearly about the problem he was facing right now, instead of running around like a headless fly and being swallowed by 'that thing'.

Although he didn't know what that thing was, his sixth sense was constantly telling him that 'it' was approaching.

No matter what that thing was, 'He' definitely wouldn't leave him a way to live, so he had to quickly leave this place to be able to survive.

"I can only try their way! Right now, that's my only remaining path." Voma's forehead was covered in sweat as he looked at the diary that he was holding tightly in his hand.

Then he looked at the meat egg with hope, and could see countless rays of light continuously being pumped into its body through the transparent tube.

The meat egg was like a hungry and thirsty beast, crazily absorbing those rays of light, Voma even discovered that it was continuously beating strongly like a living heart.

Seeing the pitch-black night gradually approaching from the horizon, Voma also began to feel anxious. Fortunately, this piece of meat seemed to have sensed the approaching danger, so it quickly absorbed all the nutrients in the tube and then began the process of 'birth'.

In fact, according to what was recorded in the diary, this Meat Ball was still far from being born, the nutrition that those people provided was not even enough for two-thirds of the energy that this thing required, so they originally planned to let it 'give birth prematurely'.

The principle was very simple, the Meat Ball itself was a living thing, although it was in a deep sleep most of the time, when fed, a part of its consciousness would awaken to absorb food.

As long as the egg sensed the danger of life and death when its consciousness was awakened, it would be able to instinctively 'give birth prematurely' to escape the danger without having to use force to force it.

Giving birth prematurely would greatly reduce the quality of the meat ball, but the people had no other choice, moreover, it would be much better for it to give birth prematurely than to force it to give birth prematurely, at least the quality would be preserved by only half at best.

But at this moment, if Voma were to awaken the sleeping consciousness of the egg by feeding it while the Black Mist was approaching, it would of course cause the Egg to be panic and decide to give birth prematurely so that it could quickly escape.

In Voma's expectant eyes, the outer shell of the meat egg cracked and suddenly exploded, reminding the young man of his still fresh memories.

White smoke and heat rising from the torn shell were now falling to the ground where the meat egg was standing, but the thing inside it was nowhere to be seen.

  "Where is..."

Before Voma could react, a giant black shadow rushed towards him at an extremely terrifying speed. The speed of this black shadow was very fast, it hit Voma straight on, sending him flying through three trees and breaking a large rock before stopping.

Voma slowly slid down from the large rock, his mouth kept coughing and even blood could be seen flowing out, proving that his internal organs had been damaged.

  "My ribs..."

Not only his internal organs, Voma could also feel that several of his ribs had been broken, his left shoulder was dislocated, and his right femur was cracked, his injuries were extremely severe.

Before the young man could say a word of complaint, a cold feeling spread down his spine, causing him to instinctively force his heavily injured body to stand up.

The pain from his chest and right thigh was like a hammer hitting Voma's head as soon as he tried to move his body, causing the young man to gasp involuntarily.

However, regardless of the pain, Voma continued to limp forward, frantically trying to reach the place where the thing born from the meat egg must be.
