The far distant future mankind has spread across the stars and intertwined their species with that of the other races they have come across creating a new hybrid humanity ruled by the Kyshen Empire. The empire holds the world of Ares captive for its abundance of a rare metal that allows for the creation of the engines used for inter-stellar travel and terraforming of planets. The world is a barren desert wasteland ravaged by the wars fought over it and life cannot exist on its surface.
