Elias Erdingham is a young human mage making a living fighting in combat sports and tournaments alongside his older brother, Donard. The two have garnered a small reputation for themselves and are approached by a professor of a local university to aid him in acquiring and researching strange relics. What ensues is a journey much more dangerous and far-reaching than what either of them had expected.
