Assigned to Project Jotnar, a team of six elite combat troops are placed in an experimental enhanced VR environment in order to challenge their combat, survival and strategic capabilities. Their new battleground - the land of Nine Mountains, a high fantasy realm inspired by Norse mythology. In order to survive, Squad Durnir must progress through martial, spiritual and arcane challenges in a role-playing environment alien to their military experiences.
