From a few unfinished stories, I decided to try to do a split narrative, in which one protagonist will be in one setting and the other protagonist in another. The prologue itself is more or less exposition, but will leave a lot of questions, which I hope will be answered in the future. If interests are piqued, I can post the old unfinished stories to connect the dots.
