Dan awakens in an unfamiliar desert landscape, disoriented but filled with excitement. He has uploaded himself into a virtual reality created by Lucid Enterprises, designed to mimic a wild west world. As he stands up, he notices others around him, all newcomers like himself. Together, they walk toward a Welcome Center, a frontier-style building where they’ll receive instructions for their new lives.
