Wolf
I let out a sigh as I lie down on a lawn chair with a book held across my chest and my eyes closed. Just relaxing after having spent twenty-eight days focusing entirely on expanding my Domain.
And succeeding at that. Even if it took every last drop of energy I’ve managed to regenerate over this time just to expand my Domain a couple inches.
The only bright side about this process that I’ve managed to discover is that it takes a lot less focus to expand my Domain than it took to create it. So I can technically expand it while moving around.
As long as I’m constantly condensing my energy into my Domain, of course.
Which means I can’t actually use my energy or my Domain at all to fight during that time.
But that’s fine, seeing as I’ve increased my own physical strength as much as I have through the 300th floor.
I can just annihilate my way through all the monsters on the next floors through brute strength alone. Because my Domain’s size is going to be incredibly important from now on.
After all, Fenrir’s already warned me about several of the other Progenitors signing up for the System to make their clones and put them into the Beta Administrator Dungeon as Centurion Bosses.
The System is only allowing six Progenitors to enter the dungeon as clones though. One for each of the remaining Centurion Bosses.
As for the final boss of the dungeon? It seems the System already has something in mind and isn’t letting anyone take that spot.
On top of that, the System doesn’t seem to want to say which order the Progenitors will be in. Which is also a pain.
It means I can’t really prepare for their specific elements. I’m stuck just expanding my Domain.
Especially since I don’t even know which Progenitors are entering the dungeon other than a couple of them.
I quietly hum a little bit while staring up at the blue sky above the meadow I’m on.
The Progenitors seem to be enjoying my messed up life at least. They’ve even started calling the Beta Administrator Dungeon something else entirely.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
The Progenitor Games.
Simply because they’re all watching it as entertainment with several of them fighting in it as well.
It’s like my dungeon run has become some sort of entertainment and test for the Progenitors. Like a rite of passage that everyone watches where I either die or make it out and become one of them.
The whole thing is rather sickening, but I’ve already grown used to that sort of treatment. After all, I’ve spent years fighting in the Administrator Dungeons for the entertainment of the universe. So this isn’t much different.
It’s just gone to a multiversal scale rather than a universal one.
On another note, it seems something rather unusual has happened in Grim’s universe outside of the dungeon. That being the takeover of the lunar winter beasts of quite a few nations.
I was rather surprised to hear that my lunar winter beasts have been spreading even more. To the point that a lot of the stronger organizations outside in Grim’s universe are becoming lunar winter beasts just for the increase in power it grants.
And the more people who become one, the more people decide to become one. Since the only downside in their eyes is that they are forced to obey my every command.
But most of them talk about how they’ll probably never meet me in their entire lives, and that if I wanted to command them to do something, I have the power to easily kill them should we meet. For most of them at least.
So what consequences could there be?
Other than the other lunar winter beasts above them in the hierarchy also having some influence over them. Albeit nowhere near how much I have.
Anyways, at this rate, I’ll have the majority of the powerful users of the System under my control by the time I leave the dungeon. Which will be interesting.
It also means The Reaper won’t have any power over me in terms of them. And I might even be able to use them in my war against The Reaper.
Because I will be going to war with The Reaper after I clear this damned dungeon. It doesn’t matter how much he’s ‘helped’ me over the years.
He’s hurt me far more than he’s helped me. And the little help he’s given was all for his own amusement.
I also need my own universe to act as an official Progenitor.
Which makes his a great target for me to get one.
On that note, I sit up from my lawn chair to look in the direction of the house. Where I can sense Sapphire lazing around playing games.
So pretty much the same thing she’s been doing for the past month.
Sapphire actually mentioned to me that she’s planning on going on her own trip outside of the dungeon after we leave this rest area. With her only planning on coming back when I reach Centurion Floor Themes.
And if I’m being honest, I’m rather happy about her decision. Both because I want her to go out and have her own life outside of the dungeon, and because it means she’ll be safer.
I just hope she makes more friends while she’s out there. And that she doesn’t get caught up in the Progenitor War going on.
That would be… bad. To say the least.
But she should be able to handle herself against most things out there by now. We’re above level 10,000 at this point. So there aren’t all that many people in The Reaper’s universe who are stronger than her.
After looking in the direction of the building for a few seconds, I eventually let out another sigh and lie back down on the lawn chair.
Time to go back to expanding my Domain again.
I can use brute force physical strength for the next several floors of the dungeon.
It’ll be an interesting change of pace after all.
