OK, do I took the last three days trying to solve the bugs problem, they keep coming, and yeah most of them get killed by the tree, but the flying ones don't touch the tree and goes for the house directly.
So my idea is that, I can keep my abilities active at all time, including when I sleep, so maybe what I can do is spread some death mana all around me, I have a massive amount of magic point regeneration and bugs are very tiny and weak, so some death mana is enough to kills them. Sending a little amount of mana works, the hard part is to make it continuous without having to focus on it.
And that's the hard part, as soon as I stop paying attention at my mana, it goes back to its normal cycle, I must be doing something wrong, but I can't manage to figure it out, I changed the spell three times, and while the efficiency, rate of propagation and area of dispersion varies, I don't manage to connect it to my magic point regeneration.
It took me two more days to try a new idea I got, since my abilities are able to do what I want, and I'm able to look at my soul, I can just imitate the way the System does it and be done with it.
I make the structure of my spell, and then start pushing my mana into my soul, between two abilities, or between the bits of System mana that interact with my mana regeneration when I activate warrior magic.
I feel an immediate resistance, but I can push anyway, I have to put all my focus onto keeping my spell together while I'm attaching it into place, and finally, it clicks !
Oh oh, oups
"I want to put on record that I didn't have a rulebook, and didn't sign a therm of condition"
Oh neat, it's the one giving me more exp no ?
Wait
BUG finder ?!
"There are no mentions of an actual insect in the title, but no one else in this forest seem to attract as much of them as I do !"
Wait, what are they doing ?
I look inside my soul and I can feel the system web moving and changing, becoming more enigmatic and secretive.
"Nonono, I need my exp tracking, what is that ! "
Do you accept ?
"Wait that's a lot, why is there two of them ? "
- I'm guessing because they do different jobs ? And if you want my opinion, I think you should accept, the system does not give detrimental things. But again, if it's asking for your permission, it could be suboptimal.
Oh come on, that was my spell !
"Wait what, that's a lot of things all at once"
- Oh that was weird
"What, what's happening ? "
- OK, a lot of things, since you are a bit panicking following the system messages
"I'm not panicking, I am maybe a little bit anxious, that a lot of talking about unlawful things and they took away my thing and I can't see my exp and I'm just a little worried"
- Yeah, so it detected you were a bit anxious, realized what were making you anxious was the System trying to compensate you, so removing the messages will be unfair. So they wanted to use a relationship AI, which is basically a tutorial AI but for other subjects. But since you know me and that may be easier than introducing a fifth AI in the conversation, it asked me if I wanted a patch to understand the situation.
"Oh, so you know what the fuck is going up ? "
- Yeah, basically it's equal part the initial error of you coming here having again more descending errors, and you doing something you should not have been able to do all by yourself, for the second time.
- To start with the Beta program, basically that AI is in charge of trying new things ? So you will be one of the user having access to things not yet available everywhere else, apparently for testing if it's not bringing unfair advantages to some users. The 'bad' aspect is that things you get in the beta program can be removed or changed at any moment which can have negative consequence on you, and they don't compensate
"OK, so if I'm being careful to not depend on them, it may be a straight good thing ?3
- Yeah I think. For the all spellcasting part, basically the main System doesn't include it by default, and since everything sentient use a specific system that include it, it's never a problem.
"Except I got the main System since I crashed the robot one ?"
- Yeah, so there is multiples points, that's a system error, you should have been able to access the system spellcasting system since the beginning, and it will have made your life easier, you lost something and the the System want to compensate for it probably heavily based on my limited understanding of the System debt. But the spellcasting subsystem detected that you know spells, and you did before having access to any System and you didn't bring it from your world, so you have access to the innovator protocol, which should maybe help you to create spells ?
"OK, so if I understand correctly, it mean I was right ? I made spells and the System was buggy and didn't noticed my talent ? "
- I guess so
"Yeah, never doubting me again"
- Anyway, if you refuse the innovator subsystem, I think you will have normal spellcasting, and the compensation will probably be a bunch of spells and maybe a few Skills levels. If you take the Inovator subsystem, I'm not really certain, but you may have a harder time learning normal spells, but you may be able to create your own more easily ? But no idea what form your compensation will take.
"And what are the System coin while I'm at it ? "
- Some kind of money for the System, you normally start having access to it only at level 10, and you can exchange the coin against a lot of things, and you gain coins with System quests, but I don't really know the details for those.
"OK, I think I understand. "
"OK bunch of AI, I accept the beta program, and after it is totally implemented I want to activate the Inovator program, and then you do the math for my compensation"
