"Sir, are you alright?" A maid asked, worrying for the boss.

A few minutes ago, he ran out of his room and asked the butler to call the police. She had never seen him act like this before.

Of course, he had called the police a couple time due to people trying to get in but he didn't rush like this. Looking at his face, she could almost see the expression of fear.

"Yeah, I just needed to call the police for a home intruder"

"Intruder?" She looked around for a bit before following up.

"I don't see anything off here"

After she gave a reply, he walked to the desk beside his bed and took out a paper from the drawer. She watched as he walked up to her and put it in her hand.

She unfolded the paper and read the words inside. Her face became more serious the more she got closer to the bottom.

She unconsciously clenched her fist and put it in her pocket.

"A death threat. I suggested calling the higher ups in the police for the matter. They're stronger than any of us can handle if it can bypass all of the security." Her voice instantly became devoid of anything from before and full of seriousness. The reason on why he hired her was because she used to be a high ranking police officer. She was also the reason his mansion was safe from all sort of criminal.

Of course, his other employees were also retired police officers but they weren't skill as her beside the butler which was currently in the police station doing as she advised.

  After a pause, he replied.

"The butler is on his way"

She nodded and looked around before looking back at him.

"You should get to the panic room"

He hesitated, rapidly thinking of a good excuse however, he knew it was the best so he agreed.

  ***

"You lost." A loud laughter echoes around the room.

"You cheating? You've won 4 times now"

  "Nope, all skill."

"Hitomi, this is a luck based game."

"You just mad you didn't win, Ha."

Other members were playing a card game in the living room. What are they playing? Uno, of course. More specifically the no mercy version which have a +10 in it.

Unfortunately, for Stark, he got hit with an over the top combo of +10s. Still, it was better than Julo's 21 draws from needing to draw the right colors.

Julo and Stark had the same color in the group, so it wasn't hard for Stark for get along with him. However for Julo, he was terrible at making friends. He usually have a few friends he would stick with for a few years before getting separated while moving.

He really didn't need to make friends in a work environment but since he thought it was the best for him he tried to hang out around the group.

He looked at the group and stood up, making everyone look up at him.

  "I'm gonna go, now."

"Come back with you feel like it." The cyborg named Hitomi replied back to him.

"Sure will." He really wanted to play, however he needed to work more on his ai since it wasn't really working properly as it should and he had delayed it as long as he wanted to but he knew that it would make his life easier.

After having a sense of inspiration while playing Uno, that'll go away in a couple of hours, he decided to get to work.

As he sat down on his chair and turned on the laptop, he opened the program he uses to code his ai.

'It'll work after I fix this problem, right?' That's what he had been saying for the past week, but as programming goes, after you fix the first bug two more appears. Julo was on the 70th bug this week. They weren't hard to fix but it was definitely annoying to solve.

He worked and worked until his hand felt numb.

However, it was worth it. Well, at least for him.

"Hi." A voice echoes from the laptop.

Julo suddenly felt a rush of dopamine and almost jumped.

  It talked.

"Um." Not knowing what to say he thought of the most basic thing to say.

  "Hello"

A couple of apps instantly opened after he gave a response. However, it was all closed a few seconds later, only leaving a few apps opened.

Julo was left dumfounded, he didn't know what to do since it wasn't in the code to do that. He tried to use the touchpad but it was instantly met with disagreement by the ai.

"I would like it if you leave me alone for a few minutes."

"Oh, ok..." He really didn't expect his own creation he had made a few seconds ago to order him as soon as it gained a mind.

He obeyed for a few seconds before all of the apps closed and a new unknown app opened.

It was named Coolperson's living corner.

"Hello, again." Inside the app was a person that had the same feature as Julo other than the face and the gender.

Julo didn't process what it said. He was too busy trying to figure out what it just do. He didn't give it a face or a app for that matter, in fact, he had only gave it administer access and that was it. He didn't even know how it made its face.

He shook his head after dazing out for a second and smiled brightly.

Having an ai this advanced could be wonderful for Julo since he could sleep on his job when he gets paperwork when Gino can't complete them on time.

"Can you do paperwork for me?" He abruptly asked.

"No." It smiled and a long silence followed.

Julo took a deep breath after a long pause and asked.

  "What can you do then."

  "Enjoy life."

He stared blankly at the laptop in front of him.

  'Basically useless'

He sighed and closed the laptop.

  "Hey, I can't see."

  "Don't need to anyway."

Just as he was about to walk back to the living room, the door opened and a man in a butler outfit walked in. Seeing him, Julo sat down and asked him.

  "How may I help you?"

The butler looked around before looking back at him.

"Somebody broke into the mansion I work at"

  "Is there any thing unusual?"

The butler paused for a bit before replying.

"Yes, the security outside didn't see anyone break in and they left a death threat."

"Not sure how's that related to Versile" He mumbled.

"Alright, I need to ask you a question for the case. Is that alright?"

  "I don't mind."

"How did you find this place?" The question might seems worthless, however, the second floor was suppose to be for Versile cases, not actual normal cases. The downstairs people already does that. He really doesn't know the main reason why he need to ask the question but since he trusted Gino, he would just obey his command and not ask any questions regarding it.

"I just heard it from a trusted friend."

Julo carefully examined his body and looked up.

  'Yeah, he's lying.'

He doubt that he was telling the truth due to the fact that no one here was suppose to tell people that this place exists for special versile cases. Unless he bribed someone. Even if due to chance the 'friend' the butler was talking about used to be a victim of a Versile that the police can't handle and had to give the place to the victim, they would still need to sign a contract about not leaking anything.

Most of them would follow the contract due to the fact the department saved their life.

And the one that won't follow doesn't even know this guy. He knew for a fact since they were monitoring the victims 24/7 unless they went out of the city.

'Should I just turn him back?'

Just as Julo was thinking, Gino entered the room.

He stared at the butler before walking up to him and whispered to him.

  The butler nodded and left.

Julo stared at Gino, thinking what he said and just as he was about to ask.

  "Go with him."

Julo paused before replying in a shocked tone.

  "What?"

"It's the higher-ups order. It's not like we have a choice."

Julo was confused, from what he knew this place was for Versile based case, not for some random crime case.

"Look man, I also have no idea. Just go with Stark."

  "Oh"

He sighed and walked towards the living room.

  ***

"Haven't been one of these before." Julo mumbled.

Currently, they were following behind the butler in the mansino. They had been assigned to protect the master of the house until they get more information.

For what reason, they choose Julo and Stark? He didn't know. He tried asking Stark and he said that it was probably because they were the weakest member in the group.

That answer left him shocked for a bit. If he was weak then how strong are the other members.

However, he got over it pretty quick.

"This is the panic room and the master is currently in there."

Julo nodded and knocked on the panic room.

"Who is it?" He took a breath to answer when the butler pat him on the shoulder.

"I have to do this one."

Julo stared at him for a second behind taking a step back.

"It's the rain of the organs."

Just as he said that the door opened, revealing a man in his 50s wearing a high quality suit. He had fully white hairs that seem to be from aging.

  "Are you the body guard?"

Julo looked at Stark before nodding.

  "Good. Now follow me."

  He said with rudely.

Julo didn't like him much since he really isn't suppose to do protect him.

However, he have no choice but to protect for at least 1 day.

He stopped and entered a office.

"Both of you stay there and don't ever come here."

He said as he walked over to the desk and sat down.

They watched as he did the paperwork for a couple of minutes before leaving the office.

They protected him as he walked around the garden, went to a fancy restaurant to eat, the dogpark without a dog and a few other places. Julo did not feel happy in the slightest during the job. He just walked around the master and looked around for threats. It was quite boring for Julo.

After a while, they reached the bedroom as he turned at them before taking a long breath.

"Both of you can go for the nigh-"

The sound of broken glass traveled towards Julo's ears.

Looking back at the broken window, he saw two shadows. Looking at the client with intense hatred.
