Before he can finish speaking he receives a call and the vibration cuts him off, he whips out the phone and picks it up
"Shiki!!! How ya doing!!" Kurai shouts into the phone jumping around all giddy
"About as good as to be expected my dear KuKu but the news is not good, Hotaru hasn't picked up his phone or reported back after an awakening.. is everything okay?" Shiki strokes his chin jokingly a little chibi bubble of his face appearing from the phone.
"Uhh, I don't really know Shiki..? I just got finished at Grey's concert I'll tell you and Katsuo about it when we're home but it was amazing.. anywhos I remember he said he was dragging the awakener away back to base so that is suspicious I'll have a look for him okay! Kurai hangs up the phone and darts through the crowd he searches the massive ring of the stadium they fought at and could sense the presence of a strong melody energy It's extremely familiar and friendly It's Hotaru's!

He's lying in a pool of blood and his suit is stained and creased he has 8 stab wounds ranging from his lungs to his arms and legs and Kurai stand in front of Hotaru's corpse with a lifeless and gaping mouth "H-h-Hotaru.."
The stench of blood fills the air.

"Hotaru Oh come on easy up a little it was only a prank!" Kurai giggles in between words as Shiki is crying laughing beside him. They're sat up on a desk and Hotaru is pissed "Just a prank.. JUST A PRANK!?!" Hotaru shouts turning bright red holding his lunch box with.. nothing in it
"SHIKI DID YOU EAT MY FOOD!" Hotaru shouts with anger as Shiki rolls on the floor laughing before sitting up swiftly and with an honest tone mumbles out "Nahhh you think I'd eat all those veggies and crap?! No.. but the dogs did" he shrugs and giggles Kurai and Shiki fall over laughing as Hotaru stands speechless he trembles his lip looking to shout but he doesnt he smiles feintly but he still smiles a bright gleam in his eyes.
His lifeless eyes shine with a pale grey "Hota wake up please" Kurai grabs his arm and squeezes it "HOTARU TELL ME PLEASE WHO DID THIS!!" Kurai sobs between words his tears interupted by a sound a rustle in the dark Kurai stands up
"Crap crap Hota im done for im so scared but I needa win for.. you" Kurai clears his throat and wipes his eyes "Did you do this" he calls out in a deadpan voice
"Hmm.. maybe i did what would it matter to you Kurai Kanou" the voice from the shadow calls out "Who are you and how do you know my name and Hota" Kurai replies trembling and nervous
"Hota.. Hota.. hmm.. funny that was my nickname for him" The shadow leaps out with a dagger in hand before Kurai could even comprehend the blade sat right infront of his eye "Im dead im dead im dead im so sorry hota im so sorry"
A ghost like figure of Hotaru turned around and smiled to Kurai "Im so proud of you Kurai"
A loud snap is heard
"Ey kurai you owe me" The jolly voice proclaims standing over him and the cloaked attacker "Shiki.." Kurai Weakily croaks out his voice laced with dread. "What's got ya so down Kuku-" Shiki notices Hotarus' bleeding corpse he dropped his act and his smile fades instantly the first time Kurai has ever seen in his life.
