Chapter 150: Truth or Lie

  *Ouch*

"Little glasses, be careful when you move.

  You accidentally hit me..."

Little mortal who got attacked by the glasses of knowledge rolled his eyes at it.

"And don't mess around, we are in the middle of a meeting.

I didn't expect to see the smartest in the 'class' act like that!"

But the glasses of knowledge were really angry and vibrated while attacking again,

  Didn't you hear it?

It said it has all the knowledge from its makers!

If you don't give me a valid reason as to why you destroyed it, I won't work for you anymore!>

Little mortal who saw the 'brain' of his support team was so angry, nodded, and tried to calm it down,

  "Alright, alright!

Don't be mad, I give you even more than one reason!"

The glasses of knowledge snorted and waited impatiently.

  "Well,

First of all, Aetherion was a fate expert."

Lilith, at her seat, while feeling how pissed her Fate connection was, said,

"The glasses is right, partner, don't you think it was better to keep it alive for this exact reason?

Even my Fate connection was reacting to it and wanted me to protect it against you..."

She really would protect the robot personally if her opponent wasn't this little monster.

But because she knew it might get her killed, she just shouted 'No!'.

This way, she showed 'Fate' that she tried her 'best' and even if Fate didn't accept that as her 'trying', she didn't care.

Her partner was far more helpful when it came to fixing problems.

  Little mortal slightly frowned,

"What do you mean by so what?

What do you mean by keep it alive for this exact reason?

I said it was a Fate expert!

Don't you know how Fate experts like us are?

  Sigh...

Assistant Rose, you tell them what I mean.

These two are acting emotionally instead of rationally..."

Little Mortal shook his head in disappointment.

  Rose immediately answered,

  "Fate is inevitable.

Which means anything that happens to its user is inevitable, too.

So Aetherion was supposed to be destroyed at this place and moment.

If it weren't fated to be destroyed, something would happen to save it.

But its Fate was already set in stone, and its inevitable future naturally happened."

Lilith and the glasses of knowledge were both at a loss for words!

They didn't know if fate was really inevitable when it comes to Little Mortal...

And Lilith felt her Fate connection suddenly turned silent, as if even 'it' was speechless and doubted itself.

In the end, Lilith always knew this 'Fate connection' was never the Fate law itself connected to her.

But something like a guide that leads her in a certain direction.

  Little mortal nodded,

  "Excellent, Assistant Rose.

  It couldn't be explained better.

And the only reason I attacked was to test it, not to really destroy it.

Now, let me give you another reason, too.

Tell me, when we found this dude, what was left of it?"

  "Exactly!

Only a head, and it just told us that everyone else from its civilization is dead in the war between them and this artificial intelligence called Hypermind.

That would be believable if we were the old mainland's citizens who didn't know anything about the other mainlands, and we had the old thought that there is only us, going around alone, in this empty void, gathering universes.

  But now it is different.

We just saw a copy of many level 2 civilizations.

And let me tell you, the material this robot was made of was even weaker than that of the cyborgs we fought.

  Which means?"

  Then he looked at Lilith,

  "You answer, partner.

  What does it mean?

Assistant Rose didn't see the video of my fight with them yet, so she can't guess it.

And this little glasses isn't thinking with its brain now, but with its heart."

Lilith glanced at the glasses of knowledge, who was searching for its brain and heart, and didn't find either of them, and after a brief moment, said,

"You are trying to say it was 'left alive'?

The one called Hypermind could destroy this so-called last survivor, too, but it didn't?

And with so many advanced level 2 civilizations and even a level 3 civilization out there,

it said about being the last survivor should be a 'lie' to deceive a mainland like yours, who wouldn't know anything about the outside world?"

  Little mortal started clapping.

  "Exactly!

  You analyzed it perfectly!"

But the glasses of knowledge didn't accept the explanation.

Little Mortal rolled his eyes at it,

  "Isn't that simple?

You worked with a high-level Fate expert like me for so long, and you still ask how?

  Sigh...

Little glasses, you are still thinking with your heart.

  I give you a hint.

What happened to the 3 lightning and that one condensed spirit stone?"

The Glasses of knowledge vibrated while slightly doubtful,

And like your lightning that on the surface moved to a random direction in the empty void, but it actually had a mission, Aetherion's action was planned by Fate, too?

So even if we don't understand why it lied to us, Fate certainly has a reason for it?>

Little mortal started clapping and looked at the rest, so they started clapping too.

"Little glasses, old friend, welcome back to the world of logic and 'brain users'.

  You are right.

Fate experts, like us, have our own mission, and Fate is guiding us towards our inevitable destination.

It's the same for my partner, for me, and it was the same for the deceased Aetherion."

The glasses of knowledge, along with Lilith, were at a loss.

What he was talking about made sense if Fate really worked like that.

  But was it really?

And Lilith was still sure that he wasn't connected to Fate at all,

Even now, with that gold ring of his, he seems to be completely separated from it!

Little mortal who saw the glasses of knowledge is still doubtful, said,

"Even if you don't believe in Fate,

  How about this?

In the story, which we don't even know if it was real, Aetherion was an updated version of Hypermind because it was built after it.

It even claimed that it had access to the new knowledge from the level 4 civilization that Hypermind hadn't.

And Hypermind, if it is a real AI, naturally can't generate new knowledge and should be less knowledgeable compared to this Aetherion.

But from what we experienced in that sealed sphere, Aetherion wasn't even better than the cyborgs there.

So, either Hypermind defeated the level 4 civilization, dismantled Aetherion, separated its parts, and left them in different places in the empty void instead of destroying them for a hidden goal.

Which means this stupid robot was already 'hacked' by it, and it was working for Hypermind without itself knowing!

Or, everything it said was a lie from the start.

But either way, I'm sure about one thing."

"What I'm sure about is that the one behind Aetherion doesn't know what's going on inside the sealed realm,

and Aetherion is like a hidden agent for the other party to be activated when a sign from something inside the sealed area appears somewhere outside of it.

Which was the release of the essence law in our case.

Or why else would it be activated now, of all times?

Why would it ask about how I released the essence law out of the blue?

Why ask about the situation inside immediately?

I remember Mr. Token was supposed to seal it in the universe it was in, but somehow, it found all its missing parts from the universes we merged today and assembled!

  If you ask me,

It was attempting to reach its peak power and then gather information about the sealed realm by force if necessary.

Who wants this information? We need to figure that out.

It could be that Hypermind itself, which probably isn't even in the sealed area, or that some other hidden characters."

The glasses of knowledge didn't know what to say.

  <...>

  Guardian Token,

[Its missing pieces teleported to it because the space mirror allows it.]

But I didn't allow it to see anything related to your Speedrun.

So it didn't know you captured the deserted mainlands and the level 2 civilizations.>

  Little Mortal nodded,

  "See!

If it knew I already destroyed those Level 2 civilizations, it wouldn't act like there is only one.

It only saw one of them, the one that we won in the bet."

  Lilith furrowed,

"Let's assume your guess is correct.

Why do you think Hypermind, even if it is a real thing, being sealed is a lie?

You should already know from my memories that even I didn't know anything about such an advanced race called 'Sinners' Race.'

Which means they exist before my era,

The story I showed you was set long after their downfall, and my era should align with the era of Hypermind's second comeback.

If Hypermind was really out of the seal, why did we never see it, and only its invisible force attacked us?"

  Little Mortal shrugged,

  "How should I know?

I only know Aetherion, who was in slumber, knew too much about these Level 2 civilizations' schedule.

If Sinners' Race is destroyed, and if Hypermind is exiled,

Then how so many Level 2 civilizations with the goal of destroying the mainlands are out there making chaos and operating so openly?

Which means Aetherion's story was completely, or at least partly, a lie."

  He then shook his head,

  "I bet if I didn't destroy it,

this robot dude was going to hang out with us for a while, slowly became friendly with us, especially with Little Glasses,

And then suddenly betray us at the most unexpected and crucial moment.

Sorry, Little Glasses, but you know I don't like variables, and don't want to take risks because of a chunk of iron's leftover from whatever race."

  Rose chuckled,

"Boss always relies on himself and those whom he trusts."

  Lilith was deep in thought.

It was actually a good thing that her partner wasn't interested in letting anyone random join his team.

The Birth Treasures nodded; it was indeed the safest action, even though he gave them a bunch of not-so-satisfying reasons.

If Aetherion was even weaker than those cyborgs that they couldn't even scratch, what use did it have?

  "And all of that aside.

Even if most of the story Aetherion said was true,

I gave you a third reason why we should still destroy it."

The Glasses of Knowledge, while tired of his nonsenses, vibrated,

And Little Mortal slowly climbed up a table to tell them the third reason.

The crowd knew it was time for him to deliver a speech.

And sure enough, Little Mortal suddenly shouted,

  "Revenge, my friends!

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

A race, a long, long time ago, got us into this trouble we are in today!

  And!

We waited and waited until this day!

Until the day that all their knowledge and hope, to salvage their past sins, gathered in one entity!

  Aetherion!

Aetherion, who was a chess piece in Hypermind's plans!

Aetherion, who was a chess piece in Fate's plans, too!

  Do you get it?

We waited billions of years for today!

And now, the cold dish of revenge was served!

Today, we destroyed the hope and legacy of a whole civilization!

  The Sinners' Race!

Today, we destroyed an important insider of Hypermind, without it even having a chance to gain anything!

Today, we showed Fate, who always acts cool and inevitable, that it is inevitable not because of itself, but because the 'True Ruler' of this world says so!

Today, after billions of years, if not trillions, we finally ate the dish of revenge!

Today, we took our revenge, as cold as possible!"

At the end of his sudden, hard-to-understand speech, Little Mortal was shouting and pointing towards a random direction in the sky with a puffed chest and raised chin, arrogantly.

A blue aura was now around him, making him look cold, as if it was the effect of the cold dish of 'revenge', and not the snack he had eaten a moment ago.

  The 'meeting' place turned quiet.

His third reason, if true, was actually in line with his personality of taking revenge for anything and everything.

It might even be the main reason that he destroyed Aetherion without any hesitation, and everything else was just an excuse...

  In his eyes,

If this Aetherion had such a role, then it was better for it to be gone.

Either way, there was nothing they couldn't handle without Aetherion anyway.

Lilith took a deep breath and said,

  "Maybe we never know.

But when the creatures on the Level 2 civilizations can already live as pure consciousness forever.

And Level 3 civilization can live even as true 'immortals' through their method, based on the limited interactions I have with them.

Then the race behind Aetherion, which was a Level 4 civilization, can't go down in history just like that..."

Little Mortal jumped down from the sofa and nodded,

  "I know, right?

And they had the audacity to only leave a 'sound message' with the excuse of 'safety reasons'?

If a Level 4 civilization can't leave a 4k quality record of their history due to security issues,

They are either some useless scammers pretending to be a Level 4 civilization, or they are trying to hide something."

The crowd was even more sure about the conspiracy behind Aetherion's existence now.

They didn't know Little Mortal actually destroyed this unstable factor for another reason.

And that was Aetherion not mentioning anything about dark energy and dark matter as if their civilization didn't know anything about it.

But from his encounter with those cyborgs, it was clear that their maker had some knowledge of this topic and even made weapons and clothing for the cyborgs with dark matter.

Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings.

In his fight with them, he even knew their bodies had a tiny amount of dark matter mixed in them.

That's why he reached the conclusion that Aetherion, which was even weaker than those cyborgs, is completely useless in a fight against this Hypermind,

and the knowledge it was talking about is something that Hypermind has already surpassed.

Either way, it was a completely useless and even a potentially dangerous existence.

He even tried to give Aetherion a final chance when he took it to the dark world and tried to have a private chat with it.

But when he saw an extremely bright golden line connected to it, he panicked and destroyed it without knowing what this golden line even meant.

As he found more and more connected lines, he got more suspicious about this line and 'it' not being a good thing at all.

Either way, he could only rely on himself and his teammates rather than on an unstable factor.

Rose, who was thinking about something else, asked,

"Boss, what did you mean by fate is inevitable because the 'True ruler' of the world says so?

  Who is the 'True ruler'?"

Little Mortal looked at Rose like the answer to her question was obvious,

  "Isn't that obvious?

Everyone knows who the absolute ruler is!"

Then he looked at the rest,

"Everyone, in 3, we will say the answer at the same time, so assistant Rose never forgets it!"

Lilith and the Birth Treasures, who knew the answer, nodded.

  Little Mortal counted,

  "3, 2, 1,..."

And Lilith, alongside the Birth Treasures, said,

  "You."

  While Little Mortal shouted,

  "The Law of Physics!"

The meeting place turned silent again.

Lilith and the Birth Treasures felt embarrassed.

Little Mortal looked at them in disappointment.

  Rose, while confused, asked,

"The Law of Physics is even stronger than your law?"

  Little Mortal nodded,

"It includes all laws in existence.

  Literally all of it.

Mine is a part of it, too, even though it's a big chunk.

Back in my hometown, you had classes in our schools, teaching it to everyone,

  And to describe it,

The Law of Physics is a fundamental principles that describe how matter, energy, and forces interact in the universe, governing everything from subatomic particles to cosmic structures.

  Simple as that.

I think the closest thing to it is World Law, which at first I thought was the Law of Physics itself that is talking now.

But later on, when I got stronger than it, I figured out it's just an imposter."

  *RUMBLE*

A black lightning suddenly appeared 1 meter above Little Mortal's head.

  Everyone’s hair stood on end.

Even the Birth Treasures who didn't have hair.

He disrespected the World Law again, and the punishment came!

Who will be the unlucky one getting a taste of it in the future?

But this time, Little Mortal snorted, opened his mouth, and sucked the lightning in.

A moment later, dark sparkling smoke started rising from his skin.

  Little Mortal shook his head,

"What a loser... Can't even accept reality."

Lilith got even closer to Rose.

This little monster was actually defying the 'heaven' without fear now!

Rose noted something down in her notebook and nodded, as if the lightning was just a passerby.

Little Mortal went to the whiteboard and said,

  "Alright everyone,

This time, let's start our meeting for real!

  Okay?"

The crowd nodded with stiff bodies.

  Little Mortal said to Lilith,

"Partner, please show the origin story you showed me to our attendees, and the discussion we had about it."

And after a minute of waiting without her doing anything, he said again,

  "Partner, did you hear me?

Please show the origin story of the world you showed me to our attendees."

At this moment, a hole opened in the silver platform, and Lubo, who received a copy of the origin story too, came out while saying mockingly with its old voice,

"We can receive it 'privately', unlike certain people who can't receive private messages."

Seeing it suddenly show up so aggressively, the Birth Treasures gulped down.

The second Big Boss was in the house!

  Little Mortal gritted his teeth,

"Don't be rude to your father!

Because you are my son, it doesn't mean I won't discipline you!"

The small Lubo, which seemed to be a lot more dangerous now, froze.

  Little Mortal chuckled,

  "What?

  Can you deny it?

  I am everyone's ancestor, alright?

And you, as the next generation, and part of me, are naturally my son.

So don't mess around and go sit somewhere."

  Lilith felt slightly relaxed.

With Lubo around, it seems her partner immediately was locked onto it, and they were safe.

It was Lubo's turn to grit its teeth and turn around to fly to its seat, but its gaze suddenly stopped on the gold ring Little Mortal had.

"Oh, what's that thing doing on your finger?

Isn't it too late for it to come after you again?"

Little Mortal looked at his ring, then at Lubo, and asked while frowning,

  "What do you mean, son?"

The corner of Lubo's mouth twitched.

  "I don't mean anything.

I only remember the first time we 'met', I felt a thread of the same law as what is inside this ring, locking onto you.

So back then, if you started absorbing law, your main law would be the same as whatever law is inside this ring."

Upon hearing what Lubo said, the birth treasures scattered in different directions.

Lilith immediately looked at Rose again, and when she saw her biting her lips as if Lubo said something it shouldn't, but she didn't move anyway, Lilith didn't move either and only bit her lips like Rose.

Lubo looked at the sudden move of the birth treasures in confusion.

  And Little Mortal attacked!

  *BAM*

Lubo was smacked to the planet's core through the same hole it just came out of, and an angry little boy chased after it while shouting,

  "You stupid son!

Because of you, I lost such an opportunity!?"

  *BAM* X100

Lilith's heart almost jumped to her throat.

She was stunned by what had happened just now!

Why was this meeting getting sidetracked every time before it could start?

Lubo's scream came from below their feet,

"You crazy brat! What is wrong with you!

  What opportunity!?"

The planet started vibrating from the one-sided fight,

And Little Mortal's roar sounded from its center,

  "It's Fate law, you idiot!

I lost the chance to become the first legit representative of Fate!"

Only now did Lilith understand the reason for her unstable partner to get angry, and she really couldn't blame him...

She couldn't help but feel sympathy for 'Fate law'.

  She thought to herself,

'Fate actually knew my partner was going to be the 'hope' of this world?

But because Lubo was just another piece of the puzzle, it failed to impose itself on him?

And even after he was reborn, it lost 'contact' with him because it couldn't feel his presence anymore...?'

Lilith, who already knew about the black lightnings that Little Lortal's 'passive fate skill' summoned,

And other things related to this nonexistent skill,

Thought Fate was probably always trying to help him indirectly, even though it couldn't feel his presence.

Because world law could receive some messages from him due to his connection with guardian law,

Fate could at least track his location and 'peek' into the overall situation using world law.

At least this was Lilith's guess, which she wasn't sure about.

Thinking about the past and how Fate saved Lubo, Lilith even had another guess,

'Or maybe Fate's real target was Lubo?

Mortal was supposed to observe the threat of Fate, then Lubo devour him, and become its representative...'

That was indeed another, and even more substantial possibility.

In the end, it saved Lubo for a reason.

After an hour of beating, the 'father' and 'son' came back, while one was deformed, and the other was huffing and puffing.

This time, Little Mortal didn't talk and just started writing on the whiteboard.

Clearly, he was in a bad mood.

  [ Level 2 civilization's mission:

  1. Find any anomaly that is a threat to level 10 creatures and report immediately before taking action by the 'protocol'.

  2. Spread the knowledge of how to kill a higher being and enter the mainland in the form of consciousness inside the universes connected to other mainlands.

  3. Spread the knowledge of how to devour other mainlands between the normal mainlands under level 8.

  4. Annihilate any normal mainland higher than level 8 on sight.

  Conclusion 1:

If Hypermind is a real thing,

The level 2 civilization is likely an outdated knowledge-based mainland, planning to erase any threat and weaken the seals so its cyborgs can break them without its own direct intervention.

  Conclusion 2:

Level 2 civilization infiltrates the universes with its chips and invades them from within by spreading knowledge on how to kill higher beings and enter the mainland. After conquering the mainland, they convert it to their own version.

They are like viruses, either taking over the mainland or simply killing it.

  -------

  Scattered information:

  1. 3 ancient ones in a probably level 3 civilization's mainland, one or more of which is presumably a traitor.

  2. Level 3 civilization can only be supported by Hypermind.

(In the current world, higher beings never let their universe advance in any branch of science, so this level of knowledge can only come from Hypermind or any creature originating from science-based civilizations.)

  3. Even with only 300 hexagons working, of which 280 weren't contributing much, the seal still isn't broken.

  4. Fate saving Lubo and keeping the incomplete universes around should result in an inevitable future.

  5. In the sealed area, even with the lost support from the two ceilings, the sealed cyborgs still can't come out, and they were using a tower to 'crack the code' for freedom.

  6. A nonsense level 4 civilization's leftover, which I kicked out of the story, and we don't need to care about anymore.

  Final Conclusion:

Immediately find the level 3 civilization, identify the traitors and their plans, and determine if Hypermind really exists, while investigating all of the information above. ]

Little Mortal went back to his chair and sat down,

"This is what we currently know, and need to clarify or investigate.

If there is any question that you need an answer for, tell it to assistant Rose, and she will write it down for me to give you an answer if I have one."

Rose received some questions from Lilith and the birth treasures, and wrote them on paper.

Around 10 minutes later, Little Mortal was reading the questions and answering them.

  "Hourglass of time's question:

  - Why wasn't the future I saw fixed inside the sealed sphere?

As you saw in my partner's origin video, part of that space was stolen from the outside world.

So naturally, in those stolen spaces disconnected from world law, the broken law can't support a 'fixed' future for you, and only small parts of the future you see can be supported.

  Crystal's question:

  - How was the cyborg's weapon invisible, and how could they all disappear using their garment?"

Little Mortal was going to answer, but paused, and then said,

  "How should I know?

  I'm just a child!"

The crowd knew he had the answer, but dodged the question.

  "Queen Lilith's first question:

  - Are you going to clean up the seal area?

No, I won't touch that place until we know what's going on behind the scenes.

  Queen Lilith's second question:

  - How is it that your ring is related to fate, but I can't feel anything from it?

Because it's entirely in a different category from the one connected to you.

It's a gift for those who cleared a sealed sphere, and it solely belongs to me.

That's why it acts independently, and other people's Fate connection can't pry into it.

It's like an unused raw Fate, without any inevitable future attached to it.

  Glasses of knowledge question:

  - What about the warning Aetherion gave about the level 2 civilizations that need to report back every month?

Should we take it seriously, or was it a way for it to try to send information back in secret?"

Reading the question, Little Mortal was surprised,

"Little glasses, you actually discovered another reason that this chunk of iron couldn't be trusted!

Aetherion made that nonsense so it can rat us out!

  But,

Even if it's true, and that level 3 civilization finds out later about the missing level 2 civilizations, so what?

  They can't find us.

  And this only alerts them,

Which might even push them to do something out of the norm, and we might even discover some secrets if I get there in time.

  Lubo's question:

  - Now that you know I'm innocent and it was world law and those cyborgs' fault that I became like this,

Are you going to let me go?

Lubo, son, you are free to go anytime.

  Just finish your job first.

With +3 million new universes joining us,

and +3 million higher beings' main planets that you need to merge with,

Your deal will be extended for at least another 300 billion years.

And I didn't even count the normal planets.

With them, it probably goes up a little more.

So don't worry, a couple of trillion years later, and you are free to go and retire."

Lilith, who found out the 'deal' between her partner and Lubo could increase by so much with planets adding to Lubo's planet, nodded to herself and thought,

'So he didn't only scammed me in our first deal...

His deal with Lubo is actually getting extended after each planet is added to it.

  Even Lubo was scammed!'

She felt better knowing Lubo was in the same boat as her.

  "Next is everyone's question:

  - How did you speak to that tower guardian in its cyborg's language?

  What?

You think we knew each other or something?

  Isn't that obvious?

You can understand the language of creatures with a lower level.

How many levels do you think I was higher than them?"

Little Mortal, while reading the last question, frowned,

  "Assistant Rose's question:

The sealed area needed 3000 hexagons to stay sealed.

Out of 3000, only 10 normal mainlands were really contributing.

So why isn't it broken yet?

Not even 1 out of 1000 sealed spheres inside could break their seal?

With the cyborgs' power inside, what could stop them?"

  Little Mortal stroked his chin,

"This is a good question that I mentioned in our scattered information.

Partner, do you think it's world law somehow stopping them?"

Lilith thought for a moment and then shook her head,

  "No.

From the information I received in the past,

I already know that Mainlands are needed to support the seal.

And universes are needed to support the Mainlands.

But our current world is missing a lot of Mainlands and universes.

So how these two ceilings and the spheres inside are still intact is a question that I have no idea about."

  Little Mortal frowned,

"If they can break the seal,

And there is nothing to stop them outside...

Then it means they don't want to come out willingly?

But from the condition of those deserted Mainlands that could turn off 280 hexagons at the same time,

It seems they were ready to break the seal at any moment.

So either they are waiting for something,

Or there is something else unrelated to world law and underworld law stopping them, and they were forced to delay the final push for 'freedom'..."

  Glasses of Knowledge vibrated,

From our observation, we know that even those cyborgs could hardly affect the ground of the sealed sphere.

Only you could dig into it.

Maybe they are interested in that.>

  Hearing its guess, Lilith nodded,

"I took out part of that ground, and it was so heavy that I couldn't even carry it.

In the end, it dropped inside the lava and merged with it as if part of the seal was going back to its source."

  Little Mortal suddenly gasped,

  "So that's how it is!"

  But didn't say anything else.

The crowd, who knew he had found the answer, thought he probably was going to pretend he didn't know now.

  Lilith asked,

"Partner, why don't you tell us what you know?"

But Little Mortal shook his head,

  "Not telling.

Just know this: there is a third seal, apart from world law and underworld law, that you don't know about.

Those sneaky cyborgs are really stuck there, I think, but at the same time, they are trying to study it.

That's what is stopping them from coming out,

And that's what interested them not to come out, even if they can.

They are trying to study it and gain access to the same material as the third seal, which is the ground.

  And I should say,

They are already succeeding to some extent with the weapons and garments they created for themselves.

That tower we destroyed was actually like a research institute.

Hypermind, or the hidden force behind all of this, is using each sealed sphere like a research center!"

Little Mortal said all of this based on his encounter with the big gate in the Dark world.

When he brought the pearl there to release the souls inside, the material of the black pearl, which a big part of it was the ground of the sealed sphere itself,

Went to the gate and merged with it.

So he knew that while everyone thought only world law above, and underworld law below was sealing the realm between them,

The dark world was actually the third seal, which created the spheres themselves and served as the first line of defense.

And the invisible weapon that cyborgs had was covered by a thin layer of dark matter,

Same as their garment, and that's why Little Mortal was so shocked in his first encounter with them when he saw the 'invisible weapons', and the ability they had to turn invisible.

It was because, in his first encounter, they appeared as dark matter and dark energy users at first glance.

Seeing he knows what's going on but doesn't want to talk about it in more detail, Lilith didn't ask further.

Just knowing there was a third seal, and that the cyborgs were stuck inside unwillingly, was enough for now.

Little Mortal went back to the whiteboard, cleaned it, and wrote only a sentence.

[ Answer to all of our questions is in level 3 civilization. ]

Meanwhile, Lilith received another message from one of the ancient ones, asking her what was happening on her side.

Not knowing what to answer, she asked,

"Partner, how do you think we should deal with my curious colleagues?"

  Little Mortal raised an eyebrow,

"Is it one of the agents or my descendants?"

Lilith, while controlling herself from punching him in the face, said,

  "Your eldest descendant."

She meant Seraphion, the old man in white armor.

Little Mortal, who didn't recognize his eldest descendant immediately, said after a brief pause,

"Oh, you mean that stubborn brat, little Ser?"

Lilith and Lubo, who knew the old man very well, almost laughed.

They couldn't imagine what that 'always serious' old man would do if someone called him like that.

  Lilith nodded,

  " Yes, him..."

  Little Mortal snorted,

"Aren't they keeping you in the dark about their side?

  You do the same.

Just tell him this, 'that's classified information.' "

After a moment of contemplation, Lilith nodded and replied to him.

  She thought to herself,

'I just play however this little partner of mine wants me to.

While unstable, he is more reliable than anyone else.'

Little Mortal, after a short pause, wrote his main quests on the whiteboard,

[ Mission: save the infinite space.

  Main quests :

  1. Make a solid line of defense.

  - operation 'speedrun conquest' (priority) ?

  2. Infiltrate the level 3 civilization

  - Gather information ( conquer if possible )

  3. Investigate the sealed realm stability (stable for now) ?

  4. Bring Fate into the equation for guaranteed victory (Fate can't be trusted, but an independent version of it is in the equation within my ring) ?

  - 50% extra reward if it's done completely in the 'dark', without leaving any tracks behind ( Hypermind or any force behind the scene probably knows by now about that silly robot, the lost cyborgs, and the missing Mainlands) - Failed -]

Then he turned to the crowd,

"Alright, that's the end of today's meeting.

Mr. Token, let's go take a look at this level 3 civilization."

  The space mirror vibrated,

  < Should I open a passage directly? >

And Little Mortal rolled his eyes at it,

"Did you forget what happened last time when you opened one to that level 2 civilization?

The reason no one in that card vault detected you last time when you placed your mark there was me- no! I mean my disciple!

Yes, because my disciple covered the area in his domain, and covered your track.

But now we don't have anyone there, so you will be exposed the moment you try opening the passage."

"Connect to Guardian Token, and just tell me the direction.

  I go there on foot."

And before he left, Lilith said,

"I go back to the underworld.

Keep me updated about your trip."

She thought it might take a couple of years before he reaches there if he goes on foot.

  Little Mortal nodded,

  "Alright,

  Goodbye everyone."

  and disappeared.

But a moment later, he appeared again,

  "I forgot to tell you!

Let's meet again, if fate allows!"

  And disappeared while chuckling.

  The Crowd,

  "-_-"
