On the morning of the Knight's Exam, James and Aaron lay in two beds in their small inn room, both still sound asleep

  Until there's a knock and a yell the door, from the innkeeper

  "Hey! You two boys are meant to be at the Knight's Exam right?"

  Aaron wakes up first, still groggy from his restful sleep

  And then he realizes where he needs to be and wakes up James while trying to fix himself up in a rush

  "James, we gotta get up and going, we might miss the Knight's Exam"

  James instantly shoots up, already fully clothed

  Aaron notices his friends sudden state of readiness

  "So, you seem to have gotten ready"

  James takes a sec to think before looking down at himself, fully clothed

  "Oh yeah, I forgot, I got fully clothed last night so I didn't need to rush as much!"

  Aaron looks a bit skeptical before giving a nod of approval

  Around a half an hour later, Aaron and James make their way up into the Upper Ward of Elaria, to the Knight's Fortress

  In the huge group of people, James is able to pick out a familiar face, Aidan. That was until he lost him in the sea of people and faces

  When James and Aaron make it into the Fortress, they are sorted into a line and then wait to be examined.

  A long wait later, it's James' turn to be examined

  He is brought through a door outside, to a small station where 2 people measure things like his height, hips, waist, and shoulders

  Next, he is brought to a field where he does a large array of physical tests

  Lastly, he is asked by an examiner "What is your aspect?"

  James looks slightly ashamed before saying "I don't have one... Not that I know of"

  The examiner looks him up and down before responding with "Not one that I know of either, you have a decent amount of aura though, too bad"

  James is then brought into a courtyard where everyone else who had been examined waits.

  At a podium atop a stage in the front of the courtyard stands a tall, muscular man with short blonde hair, wearing pristine, silver colored armor\

  Aidan asks someone standing next to him "So who's the guy up there?"

  The man answers "You don't know?"

  James shakes his head, confused

  The boy then replies to that by saying "You don't know? That's Jermaine Lionsheart, he's the High Commander of the Knights!"

  Jermaine, loud and assertive, says

  "It seems we have quite a large group, this should be everyone we are expecting."

  "After careful review and inspection, we have chosen the seven new knights that we will be welcoming."
