CHAPTER 4

Helena sighed, stretching her arms as she let her body shift back to normal. Her skin tightened, her limbs slimmed, and the disgusting weight vanished. Or should have vanished.

  She gnced down at herself.

Her arms are still a tiny bit softer than usual. Her stomach, just a little puffier than before. Even her face, there was something barely noticeable, a lingering roundness that hadn’t been there before, especially in her chin.

She frowned, poking at her side.

  — Weird…

For the first time in a long time, a bit of concern flickered in her mind.

She was supposed to return 100% to normal.

Helena exhaled sharply and shook her head.

  — “Whatever.”

It was probably nothing. Just some magic residue. She'd been using a lot of power tely, after all.

If it didn’t go away, she'd figure it out ter.

A loud sob echoed from outside.

  Helena rolled her eyes.

Madison was still there, crying like a little kid.

  — “Ugh.”

She walked back to the door, leaned against it, and listened.

  — “P-please,” Madison whimpered. “Someone… someone fix me…”

  Helena smirked.

She could open the door again. Tease her some more. Maybe even add something new to her already miserable form.

Or she could leave her there, alone, broken, realizing that no one was coming to help.

After some time Helena stood by the door, listening to Madison’s mercyful sobs.

  — She’s still here?

A lot people would’ve given up by now. But Madison, despite everything, was still begging for help.

Helena tapped her fingers against her arm.

Maybe she should open the door again just to see how broken Madison was now. With a smirk, she swung the door open.

Madison flinched, looking up at her with tear-streaked eyes.

  — “Why…?” she croaked.

  Helena tilted her head.

  — “Why what? Speak properly.”

Madison swallowed hard, taking a shaky breath.

  — “Why are you doing this?”

Her voice wasn’t angry anymore. It wasn’t even desperate. It was just empty.

  — “I get it,” Madison mumbled, wiping her eyes with her swollen arm. “I was popur. I had a good life. Maybe I was a little shallow and mean sometimes, but I never… I never deserved this.”

  Helena raised an eyebrow.

  — “Oh?” she said. “So you think this is unfair?”

  Madison gave a dead ugh.

  — “Unfair? I lost everything. My body. My youth. My friends. My life.” She sniffled. “I heard about what you did to the others… I know you sent them into space. My best friends.. gone."

  Her voice cracked.

  — “Do you have any idea what that feels like?”

Helena leaned against the doorframe, pretending to think.

  Then, she shrugged.

  — “Not really.”

  Madison’s lip trembled.

  — “You’re a monster”

  Helena smirked.

  — “Maybe.”

  Madison’s breath hitched.

She shook her head, staring at Helena like she was some kind of demon.

  — “But why?” she whispered. “Why are you so cruel?”

For the first time, Helena didn’t answer immediately.

Instead, she just looked at Madison.

  Then, she smiled.

  — “Because it’s fun.”

Madison, her face still streaked with tears, suddenly clenched her fists. Her fat body trembled with rage, her arms straining against the weight she could barely move. But despite the physical limitations, there was a fire in her eyes.

  — "I won't let you continue like this!" she growled, her voice trembling with anger.

Helena barely had time to react before Madison charged at her, her steps slow and awkward. Madison’s unhealth body barely made it past the first step before she lunged forward, her heavy, rounded form colliding into Helena’s side.

For a moment, it seemed like the attack would be a disaster, with Madison’s body not able to handle the force she was putting into it. But Helena, taken by surprise, stumbled back slightly, giving Madison just enough space to swing her meaty arm at her face.

Helena easily dodged, grinning at Madison’s failed attempt. But Madison didn’t give up, her fury only grew as she turned around and tried again, this time spping her heavy hand down toward Helena’s chest.

  — "You think I’m just going to let you ugh at me, demon?” Madison screamed, her voice ragged.

Helena stepped aside with effortless grace, her ughter ringing out in the space between them.

  — "Madison, do you honestly think ya can beat me like that?" she said, voice dripping with amusement. "You're barely moving fast enough to be a threat."

Madison, panting and still enraged, made one final desperate attempt, pushing her big mom's body toward Helena.

But this time, Helena didn’t dodge. Instead, she simply grabbed Madison by the wrist, twisting her hand until the bloated woman fell to her knees in pain, her swollen body heaving with exertion.

  — "You're old. Rest a bit 'kay?” Helena muttered, her eyes cold. “You really think you could hurt me?”

Madison gasped for air, her knees buckling as her massive form crashed to the floor. Her face, once beautiful and proud, was now red with frustration and defeat.

She looked up at Helena, eyes wild.

  — “Why?” Madison gasped, her voice weak. “Why are you so… so cruel to me? To everyone?”

Helena smiled down at her, still holding Madison’s wrist.

  — “Because you were always so perfect.” Helena said, her voice now soft but ced with venom. “You had everything, didn’t you? And you still acted like you were better than everyone else. Now look at you. Just like the rest of them. Broken, pathetic, useless. I could kill you right there, but i haven't learned any spell to clean a bloody floor.”

Madison, her breath shallow and ragged, tried to push herself up, but the weight of her own body kept her down. Her eyes were full of regret now, but Helena was enjoying this moment too much to care.

Helena finally released her grip, pushing Madison away.

  — “You’re free to cry about it as much as you want. It doesn’t change anything.”

She stepped back, crossing her arms and looking down at the woman.

  Helena shows off her tongue.

  — "Bitch."

With that, Helena turned on her heel, walking away from Madison’s broken form. She didn’t need to see her anymore. She’d already gotten the reaction she wanted.

Madison is still on the ground trembling with exhaustion. Her strength faded.

  She had figured it out.

  — "You're just jealous..." she muttered, her voice weak but still sharp.

  Helena stopped

Madison saw the slight pause and knew she had struck something.

  — "That’s it, isn’t it?" Madison continued, forcing herself to sit up. "You hated me because I had everything you didn’t. That’s why you did this to me."

Helena turned her head slightly, her smirk returning, but now it felt forced.

  — "Oh, please," Helena scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Jealous? Of a bimbo cheerleader?" She gave a cruel ugh. "That’s cute."

  But Madison wasn’t done yet.

She took a deep breath, her chest rising and falling unevenly.

  — "But what about Sophie?"

  — "What?"

  — "Sophie" Madison repeated, "She wasn’t popur. She wasn’t mean. She never did any shit to you. She was just a quiet and girlie who never hurt anyone."

Helena's fingers twitched, but she said nothing.

  — "So why?" Madison demanded. "Why did you make her like that?

"What did she ever do to deserve that?"

Helena's smile was still there, but her eyes were colder now.

  — "Deserve?" she echoed.

She took a slow step forward, crouching slightly to meet Madison’s tired gaze.

  — "You don’t get it, do you, retired bimbo?"

  Her voice was satanic now.

  — "No one needs to deserve anything."

  Madison's almost having a stroke.

  — "I did it because I can," Helena said, with a creepy and uncanny smile . "Because it’s fun."

  Her grin widened.

  — "And because no one can stop me."

  Madison's breath hitched.

She had been hoping desperately that there was some kind of reason behind Helena’s cruelty.

  But there wasn’t.

A monster who enjoyed ruining people’s lives, not because they deserved it, but because she wanted to.

And that meant there was probably nothing she could say to change her mind.

Helena patted Madison’s fat cheek condescendingly before standing up again.

  — "Thanks for the chat." she said, stretching her arms. "But I’ve got better things to do."

She turned and walked away without another word, leaving Madison alone in the doorway. Just like Sophie and everyone else.
