[Participant in the 2025 April Writathon!]Theo is a rugged mountain of a man who just wanted to camp and take his mind off work.Julia is a slight woman who spent one last weekend with her best friend before confronting her.They both decided to go for a hike and see a beautiful sunrise.Now, they are stuck thousands of miles from anyone else and have to work together to survive in an ever-changing environment filled with powers, creatures, and the ever-present opportunity for romance.What to Expect:TLDR: System Apocalypse, homesteading, base building, slice-of-life, romance, slow burn, Soft LitRPG elements.Long Version: Homestead Survival is a slow burn story following Theo and Julia on their adventures in a new and changed world with a focus on their relationship, building up their base of operations, and adapting to the new System that is changing the world. This world does have stats and skills, and the skills will be described, but the story is the focus, less so on the hard crunch of numbers.
