Continents are ruled by either an emperor or an empress—arguably some of the strongest beings in the world. Capable of doing anything at their leisure, these exalted beings are the only ones able to conquer monsters of apocryphal and legendary proportions, with extraordinarily few exceptions. And then there are those who simply travel the land and continents freely, choosing to live outside of any jurisdiction. These people are common, and they also live their own lives doing whatever they want—minus possessing the power to fend off any conceivable obstacle. This is the story of one such traveler who inadvertently becomes enwrapped in the misadventures of someone who exceeds all boundaries of what anyone thought was possible. All this, while one of those previously-mentioned "extraordinarily few exceptions" come to rise.
