Morlenfal is a city of white towers and ancient arcana-an impossible marvel suspended above a yawning crater. Summoned by Lord Tarnic, a former knight, Cratin, arrives to investigate a "contained threat" beneath the throne room. As tremors ripple through the understructure and arcane pillars flicker with unstable light, Cratin soon finds something else that lies beneath the surface.
