Vegis had spent the last week since he had moved in trying to distract Mitra from randomly wanting to fly or destroy things. VR got rid of her wanderlust but only to a point. While it allowed her to see things beyond what she once thought possible, it didn’t feel completely real due to her incapability to use the headsets and chips. After 2 more trips, Mitra got tired of it and didn’t want to go there anymore. To see a way to stop this, Vegis tried to contact Drake and Doel but couldn't. Now he was setting up obstacle courses for her and had the clones help him change it every couple of hours. The furniture that Vegis bought were mostly metal since every time one of them gets angry, they hit things. Thankfully, she could fly within the property line without any problems and this helped her not be as stressed but there much on the land.
At the end of the week, Vegis finally received a message from Drake. It was a small message that was mainly about what he must do to make sure Mitra stayed healthy. From what Vegis could understand from the list, Drakkins need a lot more physical activity compared to Magi and Humans. Their diet is similar to humans but also has a side of ores and gems. It was very vague and all he knows is that he would be getting a second job title. He would be both a clone manager and Mitra’s assistant. This would give him a bit of a pay raise but he would have more responsibility. He would practically be a caretaker to Mitra, and possibly the Forest blood as well if they have no other choice. All three of them would need to be under observation since this is a very strange situation. Because he will need to watch over them, Vegis gained a higher clearance level.

This came with a myriad of benefits, one of which would help Vegis with the problem he had with keeping Mitra stimulated and entertained. Vegis had a small budget that could be used to renovate the property and use the Planetary Council’s private building company. All he needed to do is to make a proper plan and overall idea and they would make it. It took 2 days for Vegis to draft a plan, refine it, and eventually send it to the company. After a day, the renovators came to the house, did some checking and then started to put everything in place. It took the workers 3 days to put everything in place and now, the property had a drastic change. The original grassland that surrounded the home had been changed to a heavily forested area, the garden got bigger with an auto care module, a VR room was installed into the home, a bunker was made, and along with other changes.
On some of the trees, cameras and sensors were placed and now the property was fully changed and secure. Mitra was thrilled at this. She flew over and between the trees. Vegis could hear her shouts of joy from the house and went to walk around the place. The dirt was still exposed and not overtaken by smaller plants. The transplanted trees blocked the sun and left a nice aroma in the air. A weird thing that Vegis noticed as he walked around was that something that looked like a haze seemed to be flowing out of the trees and gathered around him. When he focused, whispers would come into focus but they overlapped on each other and couldn’t be distinguished.
As he walked around, Mitra’s shouts started to get louder and soon, Vegis could see her coming closer to him from his right. With a loud bang, she landed in front of him. Vegis waved at her and asked, “So, how are you liking the changes?” Mitra shot a smile at him and replied with a simple, “Yes”.
