“Lightning - Multiple Lightning Strikes!”
It was fast, extremely fast even, as fast as the speed of sound I would say, but still within the A rank realm. That also should give you a better idea of how strong an A rank is but, moving on. With an extremely fast dash, several of them in this case, she individually dashes towards several monsters, and once she was close enough, with a simple, powerful but extremely fast slash, she cuts down the monsters in half showing once again just how weak they are to the blade of Kiana claymore and to her overwhelming strength. The blade goes right through them from one side and leaving from the other side in a precise and clean way. This “spell” lasted for 3 whole seconds, and in that time span, ten monsters were defeated, leaving “only” twenty-seven to go.
Anne- Erm, guys, did any of you see that? From the sound it seems the same spell from earlier... But wow, that was way too fast! And look how many were defeated!
Karls- Why are you even asking that? None of us saw that, the speed was at the A rank realm I believe. But either way, if any of you thought you could do something to help her out, this small display of power should grab those thoughts and send them into the oblivion. We will really be on her way if we decide to do something.
Charles- I understand that now… and fully well. How much of a fool I was to think I could help her out. When there is someone fighting that is much stronger than you, your best way to help is to simply to not get in the way. Just stay in the background and don’t dare to intervene with the battle.
Karls- Yes, even though I’m B+ rank, they told me that my powers cannot even reach a small fraction of an A- rank. Seeing it is believing it but, I wasn’t expecting it to be this drastic.
Charles- Arrogance in your own strength is a death sentence in our world and, that was what I was thinking when she said that, she could take care of them all by herself. But when you are in the A rank realm, I think you can afford to be arrogant after all, you have reached a realm where you could probably cause chaos in an entire city all by yourself.
Anne- I don’t think it was arrogance on her part. She most probably also has the Magic Sense skill, and maybe even more advanced than us since she’s far stronger, I think she used it and she was able to perfectly gauge how strong they are, getting a clear view and understanding of who and what is in front of her. For example, I cannot tell you just how strong that horrifying beast is, when I use the skill, I can only gauge him at B+ but with a feeling that he’s far stronger than that.
Charles- Is that so? Karls, what about you? Can you sense his strength with more accuracy or are you still the same way?
Karls- In this case I can sense with much more accuracy than her because I am stronger than her, allowing me to gauge his strength to another realm however, the same thing is happening. I can only sense his magic up to A-, I would say right in the “average” any more than that and, forget it, all the same to me. He could “only” be in the upper A- or, he could be higher than that, I have no clue.
“Humph! Are you finally ready to do something?”
The boss, the strongest monster is finally about to do something and unfortunately to the fragile looking young lady facing him, she will experience first-hand just how much of a horrifying monstrosity he truly is. Or maybe not, as she has quite the smile on her pretty doll-like face, a soft one that is but, with her eyes, with her golden eyes deeply staring at the boss makes you wonder if that really is the case, if she will feel said fear and despair.

A play around with a somewhat strong monster?
Maybe it will change from this next spell from the beast however, before he does anything, Kiana raises her claymore as high as her petite body physically allows, with her tender arms upwards as far as they are allowed to be and with her face facing him dead on at the same time. It almost seems as if she wants to cut down whatever spell will come at her...
Madness.
But I believe she can do it after all, this fragile looking young lady is Kiana herself.
Magic Noises!
From inside of his hideous mouth, he prepares a spell target at Kiana. Since there is no magic circle, I really can’t tell you what it will be but, expect it to not be something good or in other words, something quite powerful. One after another, a small shockwave appears from where the boss is standing, ones that travels just a meter or so until they fade into the surroundings. These shockwaves are caused from the sheer amount of magic energy that he is currently using and storing into a single point, his mouth. As I said before, Kiana is more than ready to tackle whatever will come out from him however, the same cannot be said about the trio as they are panicking as they feel the terrifying and enormous magic energy the beast is using. Fear quickly consumes their mind, despair stops them from moving a single muscle, as they reach the conclusion that this monster really is far too strong for them.

Everything quiets down mere moments later and this silence speaks louder than anything in the whole world but, this quietness only lasts for a few brief moments.
Swoosh! Magic noises!
The terror has finally been unleashed into the world and aimed at our lovely Kiana.
A magic ray, one that is coloured with a bright white colour, it’s shoot from the monster mouth, directly towards Kiana. The ground shakes violently when that happens, the ground where the beast stands cracks from the sheer violence of the magic ray crumbling in the process not only that, the beast is dragged a few meters backwards thanks to the sheer recoil and force of the magic ray. The magic ray is a straight line, one that has a diameter of 2 meters, much bigger than Kiana and even than normal human being but of course, this magic ray does not start with such size. It starts with the same size as his mouth, getting bigger and bigger a few short meters later and the same thing can be said about its brightness, getting brighter and brighter. In other words, this is a Blast Cannon, the same spell (although far weaker) that the Crystal Fortress spammed when I was fighting it. A magic spell where the user creates a ray of magic and afterwards, he shoots it towards his unfortunate target. This ray is only a few meters of length and its diameter will vary depending of the amount of magic energy used, consuming everything that comes in contact with it until, it either disappears into the air or it hits something hard enough, exploding once it happens, just like it happened when I was fighting the Crystal Fortress. The explosion is quite powerful, so much so that even a “low level” Blast Cannon can easily destroy a small building with it, a B+ rank spell but, in the hands of a supposed A- rank monster then, I think anyone can get an idea of just how strong it will be…
Bam!
The Blast Cannon hits Kiana dead on, nothing more, nothing less. A massive explosion happens, a shockwave follows the explosion, one powerful enough to crumble and crack the ground a few meters post the explosion radius, one that mind you, it’s around 15 meters wide. Once the initial disaster is gone, a dark smoke cloud emerges after it, covering everything around it and leaving those that are watching the battle, unable to see if the young lady is fine or if the worst has happened.
“Guys!!! The Magical Girl! She has been hit by that spell!”
From the top of her lungs, she screams this with everything she has, to her, the worst has just happened and as her mind is getting filled with such thoughts, it makes her blur this out into the world. However, while Charles is just in the same state, shocked, panicked and worried, Karls on the other hand, he’s rather calm.
Karls- Calm down! She’s fine! Just use your damn Magic Sense skill before shouting nonsense into my ear! If you did so you would easily sense her magic energy! Dammit! That hurt…
Charles and Anne- WHAT!?
I understand the confusion as they both shout in complete and utter disbelief but, let’s go back a few moments right before the Blast Cannon supposedly “hit” Kiana.
