While it wasn’t her intention, what she said and questioned afterwards, it forced Anya to quiet down and even to shut her mouth as she’s unable to say anything at all. What Kiana is saying and consequently transmitting, it’s starting to feel a little bit of “Heroic”, something admirable. If someone feels like this, what’s wrong with it? She wants to help those that need help, what’s wrong with that? There is nothing wrong with that and that’s exactly why she has her mouth shut and why she’s unable to counter argue.

  Kiana- Look, unfortunately in this world evil exists, ones are evil by their own conscience while others are born in that way. If there isn’t anyone taking care of them, chaos will rule everything and if that happens, we can say goodbye to our peaceful life. I have the power, the strength, to prevent this to some extent, so, why wouldn’t I do it? I understand that it worries you but, have a little bit faith in me.

  “I have faith in you as otherwise, I wouldn’t have let you go yesterday. Not that I could stop you… But! I would have tried at least.”

  Kiana- I know that and thank you. It’s just that, I’ve made a promise to someone that was extremely important to me, family like even, I considered her like an older sister. I wasn’t like this nor I thought in this way but, she asked me to help those that need help and since I’m this strong, she trusted that I could do it. I can’t break that promise and I don’t want it because, she is right, in these two hands I do have the power to help those that need and to prevent them from going through awful tragedies.

  “I envy you... I don’t have much confidence in my abilities but you have changed my mind. However, I still can’t let you do this by yourself and that’s why I want to help out. I am weak, far too weak but, I’m smart, I will find a way to help you out.”

  Her cheeks are bright red as she says this, as for the first time ever, she admits that she's good at something, she tells the world, she affirms it even that, she’s indeed smart and she’s conscious about it. And yet, she could barely keep eye contact with Kiana as she achieved this fantastic achievement. Not only that, she’s also embarrassed, while this is not a “love confession” or anything like that, to directly tell someone that you have their backs, that will go above and beyond what you can do for them, it’s something a little hard to say especially for someone as timid as our cute Anya. Kiana on the other hand and as anyone who knows her can expect, not only she nods at Anya feelings with great pleasantries, her golden eyes are soft and with a mellow look on them while at the same time, she has a gentle smile on her face, a genuine one and one that easily express how grateful she’s for Anya.

  “Thank you, Anya.”

  Her tone of voice matches the look on her face and after being like this for a couple seconds, staring deeply at each other in complete silence, both of their faces go bright red as everything settles in. Anya quickly faces another direction while Kiana simply tells her that it’s time for classes and that she’s more than late, leaving the area as quickly as she gave out that excuse. A good thing to see if I say it myself and a memory that I will try to never forget about it or at the very least, keep it for a long time. Seeing two people bonding together and becoming closer because of it, it’s something warm and nice to see. But with this, it’s safe to say that they are friends.

  The rest of her day went like normal, things were a little awkward at the lab but that only lasted for a couple minutes as they were able to get into work mode. Once that was done, at around 18 pm she went shopping although, I think she should do that tomorrow as she will have more time to do so since it will be Saturday. Oh well, she shopped for around 2 hours and ended up spending 235 coins bringing her budget down to 3200 coins. After that, she went home, arriving there well past 20 pm however, she actually bought a little premade meal, a simple lasagne but, she actually has no clue what that is and she only bought it because, she heard a kid asking her mother to buy it, easily grabbing her attention to it. Either way, she has no clue on what she has to do with it but nothing that can’t be solved by reading the instru-what are you doing!?

  “I mean, I have to heat this up, right? I can’t eat it cold, now can’t I?”

  I mean, duh! But why are you heating up the entire packaging without even opening it first? You have to open it, put in a plate and then, you can heat that up you dummy! You’re going to mix the flavour of the lasagne with the plastic thanks to the heat, one that might melt said plastic into the food itself.

  “Ah wait, it says here that I have to open it up first… Ups.”

  Argh! Why does she look so cute, man? Whatever, after realizing her awful mistake, she opens up the package and takes out the lasagne and puts it in a plate. Thankfully she’s no animal as she did so with cutlery rather than her silklike pale hands. Anyway, after heating up with a simple Pyro spell for a whole minute, she starts to eat, only to quickly realize that it still is cold. Alright, time to redo the same thing, another minute goes by and nothing has changed.

  Well, if it’s not done yet, another minute!

  Yep, while not as cold as the first time, still quite cold.

  And she’s done eating…

  Seriously, what the hell have I witnessed? All of her previous meals seemed to be nicely done and tasty, how the hell did she do something like this? She finished eating before it was fully warm as the cheese on top of it, it never melted for example. Sigh… She at least seems satisfied so, I don’t think she will never buy this again or something like that although, try to not eat too many pre made food like this, ok? They are not good for your health at all. Nice to eat but not good.

  April 27, Saturday.

  Well, this day starts a bit better than yesterday or at least Kiana didn’t wake up screaming like a complete and utterly maniac. No, this time around, she peacefully woke up from her princess like slumber. Either way, after going on, on her normal and boring morning, in the afternoon she decided to spice it up a little bit, deciding to do some quests. She still is at D rank and the boring quests are the same so, nothing special has happened. Here are the results of them.

  It was a rather slow day; she only did two whole quests and the rest of her afternoon she spent it at the guild waiting for new quests to appear while casually conversing with a few staff members and a few adventurers, it seems her previous rank has made the rounds and some adventurers are picking on that as they question said veracity of such claim after all, she does not look like that at all. Either way, the quests she did were simple gather quests, the first one awarded her with 45 coins and 10 points while the second one awarded her with 55 coins and 10 points, totalling 100 coins and 20 points for her rank. Her budget has increased to 3300 coins while her adventurer points are at 200, just ten more quests and she will be able to rank up to C rank. Alright, you are almost there, just kept at it for a little longer. She left the guild at 17 pm, buying two Pastel de Nata while at it as she was able to spot the elder woman in the corner of her eye. She spent 20 coins, dropping down her total to 3280 coins, after enjoying one Pastel de Nata right there and after conversing with the elder woman for a few minutes, she goes home afterwards. The rest of her afternoon and night goes like normal so, not much that I can say.

  Or that would’ve been the case as when she went to sleep, everything went dark at the same time.
