What happens next is something they cannot understand, something that they cannot fathom or even comprehend. A moment ago, a single Black Wolf is right in front of them, ready to tear them apart, saliva drops down his mouth, his teeth are eager to feel flesh and with a deadly stare that could easily kill them is now gone. In a blink of an eye, this fiercely and dreadful Black Wolf has disappeared and, in his place, a young woman stands in front of them. One that is for the small side, petite, fragile looking and so pale that, you could easily mistake her as having some type of deadly sickness, not only she’s in front of them while taking a stance ready to take on the rest of the wolves, she’s holding in each on her tender small hands, a half from of what seems to be from a massive scissor.

  What happened?

  Where is the wolf?

  Who is this girl?

  In mere moments these questions fill their heads, but now is not the time for this, after all there still are at least five more wolves to go and the moment they understand this, these questions quickly vanish into nothing and fear takes over their simple minds once again.

  She was almost 200 meters from the group of students when she fully understood their situation. The students are surrounded by a group of Black Wolves Fang, five of them are currently surrounding the students while one carefully leads the others, he is the Alfa as I said before however, this Alpha is no more than, an Elder Black Wolf, a B rank monster or in other words, much and I mean, much stronger than the C rank Black Wolf Fang. It truly is quite the jump from the C rank Black Wolf Fang however, an Elder Black Wolf is indeed an evolution to the Black Wolf Fang. For them to evolve is something fascinating, it’s not a normal evolution where once you reach a certain degree of strength you simply evolve, in this case, it’s far different as not only it literally takes years to achieve, in the meantime, said wolf also has to prove himself to his own “race” with his strength and wisdom. Even if this Elder Black Wolf is a foe to not be underestimated, in the face of our Kiana, he’s nothing. But for now, she needs to take care of the one that is mere moments of doing something gruesome to that group of students.

  “Lighting Dash!”

  By using an Electro spell, she quickly dashes towards them, covering the distance in a moment or should I say blink of an eye? While I was more than able to see her do such a thing, the sheer speed of her easily ranks this spell at A rank, she was faster than the sound itself, as fast as a thunder from a thunderstorm. Once she was in range or in this case, once the wolf was in range of her halves, with both of the halves she slashes the wolf in front of her in an X movement, the blades easily slice the wolf down in four parts, ones that are equally in size, showing of how precise she can be even though the dash was mentally fast. However, this is not the only thing that happened, for some reason, and one that drew my attention to what happened, the wolf that was struck down, he disappeared into nothing, not even a magic stone was dropped, was it because of her original magic? The same thing from the other day happened, when she also defeated a trio of Black Wolf Fang when she was protecting Anya. Whatever she did, whatever those scissors have on them, it seems they consumed the wolf itself, leaving nothing behind. A true fit for what she says when she creates them.

  “Consume and Disperse.”

  However, this is not the time for my unnecessary yapping. Right after this magnificent display of swordsmanship? Or should I call it scissorsmanship? Anyway, Kiana leaps forward and upwards a few good 3 or so meters, right into the middle of the group of students, from there, she readies up two magic circles and from the colours of them, I would reckon that she will use Pyro spells.

  “Multiple Cast! Firebolt!”

  Magic noises!

  Another magnificent display but this time, on magic usage. I didn’t mention but, the magic circles are aimed downwards towards two Black Wolves, each one on a different side of her. From these magic circles, ones that have close to 15 centimetres of diameter, two Firebolts are quickly formed on each one of them and from this alone anyone could expect for her to launch said Firebolts into the wolves but, what happens next is rather different.

  Swoosh! Fire noises!

  By using the halves of her scissors, she hits the Firebolts directly while still in the air and while they still are in the magic circle, changing the form of them in the process. She does so by first spinning around mid-air and in an angled way, gaining a little bit of speed before striking the Firebolts. These Firebolts then transform from a perfectly round ball into the same shape of the blade of those halves, although this shape is chaotic because of the properties of the fire itself, it still has a visible enough shape that makes it resemble the blade of her halves. Because of the added momentum that Kiana gave them by striking them, the Firebolts travel at great speed towards the Black Wolves, hitting them in a matter of moments and with it, consuming them wholes as the flames are close to 800 degrees in temperature, leaving nothing but only ashes behind, even the magic stones were melted from how hot the fire was. A simple D rank spell is now something akin to a B rank thanks to what she did to them, or in other words, a magnificent display of magic control and usage. The two other Black Wolves that are near the circle, they jump back dodging whatever Kiana was about to do. Not really, they only do so once the other two got hit by Kiana spells, that should tell just how fast those Firebolts travelled.

  Once this was done, Kiana gently and elegantly lands right in front of the group of students, staring down the remaining two Black Wolves and the Elder Black Wolf. She’s a shield between them and one that seems impenetrable but only to them, as for the group of students, they still cannot fathom this petite young lady doing something like this. While they are trying to understand what just happened, the moment their eyes unconsciously switch their gaze towards the vicious and terrifying Elder Black Wolf, things quickly change. Fear once again creeps on their mind, despair makes their body quiver once again, that wolf truly is a beast. Easily 50% bigger than the already big Black Wolf Fang, its teeth however, are not only 50% bigger but a freighting double the size, if that beast bites someone, they will easily go from one side to the other from how long and sharp they are, and to make it worse, they could probably go through at least two average humans at the same time. Its fur no longer seems like normal fur, one that should be smooth to the touch and of course, to the eye but instead, it seems like small metal pieces that have the shape of hair are what covers the Elder body. Its paws are as long and wide as a human head, the claws are even bigger, easily 15-20 centimetres longer. A true beast all through it and yet, this fragile looking girl stands right in front of them ready to tackle all of the beasts.

  Is she mad?

  Does she have a death wish?

  Are we going to die!?

  Doubt fills their simple minds, even though she just defeated three Black Wolves in a span of seconds, since they didn’t actually see it from how fast she was, they cannot fandom how capable this young lady truly is. But it matters not, as her job will always be the same whether these individuals believe in her or not. Enough of this, the two Black Wolves dash towards her, it was a simple death stare from the Elder and the Black Wolves got their orders and without any hesitation at all, they follow it. These Black Wolves are prideful, seeing their own kin getting killed without any resistance at all, brings them anger, rage and fury, this head on attack is a consequence of that. The moment they see the Black Wolves dashing towards them with a speed that is no joke, although they are C rank, they can somewhat keep up with C+ monster in terms of speed and with this simple fact in full display, panic arrives at the group of students making them once again quiver in sheer fear. Fret not as Kiana is ready to intercept them although it might not be necessary.
