Alice- What do you think about them? In my opinion, it’s more than evident that they are hiding something. They were trying their best to keep something from us and that student, Breve, he does not fit in there at all. First, from how he looks, that alone is enough to tell just how much “interest” he would have in such a special class. Secondly, his manners, the way he speaks, his confidence, everything tells me that he's from some high-end background.

  Taniah- I agree and I’m sure that they are more than hiding something from us. Just like you said, that Breve guy is someone that does not fit in there, however, we cannot judge a book from the cover, he might as well have interest in such. In fact, while there is someone by the name Breve in that class, he is nothing more than a she. And quite the “female” looking at that, but a little bit like the rest of them. Unless she was using illusion magic for some reason, we already have something to suspect about them.

  “He was not using illusion magic at all; I can tell you that. In fact, he was hiding his levels of magic energy although, only by around 50% I would say. I have no clue why he was doing such a thing.”

  With quite the casual look on her face she says this and with it, Alice raises her eyebrows in curiosity more than shock or surprise but Taniah, on the other hand, her eyes are wide open thanks to it. You can easily see the “How does she even know that?” look on her face. Haha! Be surprised at Kiana's abilities! Mhuahaha! Alice might be getting used to it but Taniah, you still are far to “green” to Kiana greatness!

  Alice- Really? Did you use Magic sense to notice that? Was it something else? That seems rather useful to know, is it something that I can learn?

  Kiana- Yes, yes and yes! I did use Magic sense and you can learn it. Just like I’ve been telling you, with practice and time you will be able to do all of this and some more. Magic Sense skill really is that versatile and useful. However, I’ve reached this conclusion because I’ve sensed a rather interesting object on him. He had said object inside of his pocket on his jacket and this object was basically hiding his magic energy as on it, I could sense a Conceal magic circle on it.

  Alice- Conceal magic? Now that’s something interesting that you have found. I’m starting to envy you, Magic Sense really is something useful if you can even sense the different types of magic, although that might be more thanks to your experience… Hmm, I was finding it weird that those three were rather weak even for someone that looks like them but, since I’m not used to using Magic Sense, I thought it was because of it. Well, it seems I was wrong, since there was Conceal magic near them and one that was concealing almost all of their magic energy it easily explains it then. However, I was feeling a little off while in there, as if something was suppressing me of some sorts… Was I, we, were we also getting affected by the Conceal magic?

  Kiana- That is correct, the conceal magic range was in fact the entire room and that is why you were feeling like that. What you felt was your natural magic output being stopped from leaking naturally, or in this case, part of it as the spell did not affect you by the same degree as them in other words, since you are far stronger than all of them, the effect while the same, in terms of percentage was less. However, don’t worry, it won’t have any permanent or any negative side effects. For someone that is unused to it, it can and will be a little uncomfortable just as you said. Everything that is forced into our body makes us feel unwell and this is no exception although in this case, with proper training your body will naturally adapt to it.

  Alice- It makes sense, but now I wonder, why were they doing it? What’s the point of hiding their magic energy if they are already weaker than us? Was it some sort of trap for someone like us? To make us think something is “wrong” and therefore switch our attention towards them? Allowing them at the same time, to freely do what they want since we are not on top of them?

  “Wait! Wait, wait! You two are well past my understanding! How did you even find something like that at all? And, don’t tell me it’s a “perk” of that Magic Sense skill! Seriously, put that in normal terms so that I can understand what you are getting at.”

  Alice- Ah ups, is that so? I’m soch sowy Miss Taniah! Ah yes, I will translate this common sense into a children's language!

  Well, that was rather odd to say the least. No seriously, what did I just witness? While Kiana is mere moments from breaking down into laughter, Taniah on the other hand, you can see her furry on her eyes so much so that she frowns her eyebrows and at the same time, she puts both of her hands on her waist, one on each side to be precise. There’s a reason for this after all, Alice said all of this with a jokingly tone of voice, her sharp eyes are mischievous and of course, just like a jester is hired to make a King laugh with his shenanigans, she does the same thing, exaggerating what she said with her body language, moving her arms and hands around as she teases Taniah, getting closer and then further from Taniah as she does her “comedy skit”.

  What a damn scene and while I enjoyed it by quite a bit (Kiana too of course), Taniah on the other hand…

  “I see... I see Miss Florence... If this is how you want to play…”

  Yep, she’s dead.

  Her voice is cold and sharp, her eyes match the same while her body language screams that Alice is indeed dead.

  Alice- Alright, Kiana! It’s time for me to go! I will be at the Magic Circle special class at 14 pm! I won’t be late and see you soon! After all, I’ve got stuff to do! Bye!

  And so, with a quick goodbye and as fast as she can, she gets the hell out of here, going her merry way and leaving both Taniah and Kiana alone.

  Silence really has the tendency to speak loudly, now, doesn’t it? While Kiana is finally able to calm down, Taniah is still doing her best to not “explode” in front of Kiana. Although she does seem a little “used” to Alice's random shenanigans… Anyway, with a loud “sigh!”, Taniah has finally been able to calm down, enough to at least face Kiana with a not so angry but a more so annoyed look on her face, and from here, she once again asks Kiana what they were talking about, after all, she still has no clue how did they both reached that conclusion about the Conceal magic and the object that had said magic on it. With a calm and somewhat slow tone of voice, Kiana does her best to explain to Taniah how the Magic Sense skill really works and how she was able to sense what strength the magic stone was, the type of magic on the display and of course, the object with Conceal magic on it.

  “Argh, sometimes I don’t understand that girl at all. Was it so hard for her to tell me what you just said? Really, I think she just remembered of something she had to do ASP and did this as an excuse to leave.”

  Kiana- Wait a second, are you saying that Alice has the tendency to do this? She!? No way…

  Yep, what a truly odd ball. Someone that looks like Alice and someone that acts like Alice, you really, really wouldn’t see this coming even if you dreamed about it, now I understand why she trusts Kiana this much and of course, “likes” her this much. Birds of the same feather flock together.

  Taniah- Let’s move on from this, no point on talking about that individual for now. Anyway, I think I finally understand how the two of you were able to reach those conclusions. I’m really starting to think that Magic Sense skill is one hell of an op skill. I probably should learn it somehow. Just like that individual said, the first part of our master plan is over, at 14 pm we will meet at the centre of the Academy, right in front of the main building, not at the Magic Circle special class. From there we will go to the Magic Circle class, and just like we did, we will be doing an inspection. There is a lot more that we need to discuss but, since that individual did that and you have classes, we can do that later.

  Kiana- That seems like a good plan, I guess? But I do have a question, since we have all of this “evidence”, why don’t we catch them? Is there nothing you can do about them? Or is there something stopping us from such? Even without Alice here we can easily take them down.

  Taniah- We already did something, the moment that I said that the student council was doing a periodic inspection it was the moment we made our move. They won’t be doing anything for a few days, or in other terms, they will be laying low. In this period, we will keep doing our patrols and if we never find anything we can assume that one of these two classes are the culprit behind the previous incidents. If they keep happening however, then we can assume that they didn’t have anything to do with them. It’s not a perfect plan as they can easily just keep doing whatever they are doing but I’m confident that they will be more careful on how they move. Not only that, I do have a nice surprise for at least this special class.

  Well, at least she’s aware that her plan has a few flaws to it, but from how confident she sounds, I do believe that she's more than prepared for these so-called flaws. Maybe she’s trying to trap them after all, if you are aware of the flaws of your plan, you can easily put counter measures for it. This can easily also work in battle, for example, you rush towards the enemy and on propose you leave yourself wide open in a specific “area”, the enemy will see this opening and of course, he will try to take advantage of it, only for you to counter it easily and at the same time, leaving you with a good chance of striking back per say. In other words, a trap.

  But with this, both of them bid their goodbyes and go on their merry way, Kiana goes to classes while Taniah goes to the student council.
