“Miss President, that is in fact a magic stone, not a gem. We have found it recently in our latest expedition, in fact, we found it on our last day, this Tuesday to be precise. We happened to stumble upon it while digging for something else. Quite the lucky find, wouldn’t you say?”
His posture is the complete opposite from the trio. He has his back straight and somewhat forward, his tone of voice is clear and filled with assurance on what he’s saying, his face follows his tone of voice, one brimming with confidence. From this alone you could easily believe his words but it seems both Taniah and Alice are not biting the bait. Kiana on the other hand she… still is looking around.
Taniah- Ah, so it’s a magic stone rather than a gem. I would’ve never noticed if you didn’t say so. But yes, I do agree with what you said at the end, luck sure seemed to be on your side for you to find such a valued object. Is there anything else you can say about the magic stone?
Breve- I don’t think so, I’ve said everything that should’ve been said. But, Miss President, why do you ask? Is there anything else you would like to know?
Seriously, he feels way to out of place to be part of this special class. Putting aside his looks, from how he talks and handles himself in these types of situations, it is enough to doubt the validity of him being a member of this special class. In other words, he’s way too “polite”, educated and formal especially when compared to those bunch of nerds.
Alice- She’s asking that because that magic stone is from a monster that none of you could ever hope to defeat. That magic stone belongs to an A rank monster and you can easily guess that the value of such magic stone is quite high.
Her “red” eyes are sharp as she stares down at all of them. She frowns her “orange” eyebrows as she says this with a firm tone of voice and of course, the rest of her face follows this. Once again and obviously, the trio panics but in this case, far more than before as they more than probably know just how strong Alice is. Although, if they keep on sweating like they are, the room would be filled with sweat in a matter of days! Days I tell you! Days! I can’t let our beautiful Kiana be in a place like this!
“(Nice one Alice-chan! How did you figure it out? Was it because of that new skill of yours?)”
She tries her best to be quiet as she says this to Alice, it seems she does not want any of them to know that, she in fact, didn’t know any of that. Since they are a little too “occupied” conversing with each other, she is using this opportunity to say this to Alice. She wants to somewhat understand how she reached such a conclusion.
Alice- (Actually, I did use my skill to sense anything out of place but, I was unable to do so as the display has a type of magic spell on it that “covers” the magic that the stone is emitting. In other words, Kiana was the one who discovered, her Magic Sense is much more advanced than what mine is.)
Taniah- (Well, if you trust her abilities so do I. But you also did good, if she was the one that said that, I don’t know how they would react to it. Not only that, she really feels a little out of place, I can easily see her eyes sparkling from excitement just from being here. Anyway, did you tell her anything though?)
Alice- (N-No? I didn’t think of that, the moment I understood that they are hiding something, I felt the need to say it. I hope I didn’t offend her or anything like that-)
“(Hey guys, what are you whispering about?)”
Argh this girl, she’s far too na?ve, without a single care on her petite but pristine face and far too easy going! As you can see, the moment she sees them whispering to each other, out of nowhere, a need to be part of that “secretive” talk appears in her heart, forcing her to slowly walk up to them. Then, with a soft smile on her silklike lips, she whispers this to them. Seriously, she’s way too happy to be part of something like this. In a sense, she seems like a child that is happy from just being around “important” situations. But enough of this whispering, it might make them suspicious if they keep at it for too long.

Taniah- Well, care to explain? Just like Alice said, none of you could defeat an A rank monster, even if you decided to do it together. Not only that, I can also guarantee that, I surely do not remember any report of a team defeating an A rank monster.
Breve- Miss President, there is a simple and logical explanation to it. In fact, last week we did an expedition up north, a cold place to be, I must say. There were times that none of us thought we could last from the sheer cold temperatures but luckily, our passion was strong enough to keep us warm enough to keep going. The expedition went for a whole week and we were able to hire an expert team to help us out, all thanks to the Academy's increase in funds. While there, on a fateful day, we were looking around and studying the environment when we happened to come across an untouched cave in the mountains. I think your excellency can see where this is going already but, inside of this cave, it had a monster inside of it.
Taniah- A monster whose strength equals to A rank... How did you defeat it then? Or was it the expert team who did such a thing? Don’t get me wrong but, I think you can understand how unbelievable that’s sounding.
“Haha! I will get there in time, Miss President, please be patient. However, now that you’ve said that, I think you just need to look at that lovely young lady behind you. After all, what she was able to accomplish when she fought Miss Florence is also something quite unbelievable to believe.”
He got you there Taniah and Kiana truly is a good example for what he’s trying to get at. However, in his case his story is much more unbelievable than having a fragile looking girl going toe to toe with a B- rank, as I’ve mentioned before, A rank strength is no joke at all, a “mere” B- does not even compare to it.
Breve- As you’ve been saying, none of us could’ve fought the monster let alone even have the hope to defeat him. A monster whose strength is A rank, no one should underestimate their strength and combat abilities at all. The monster was big, with two large arms and even bigger claws that could easily rip apart anyone. His mouth had teeth as big as its hand, ones that could easily bite us in half if he so desired so. His fur, although it seemed smooth and weak to the eye, in reality, it was the complete opposite, it was sturdy and even sharp to the touch so much so that, if not careful, it could easily cut your hand for example. However, luck was on our side, when the monster saw us as prey he leaped at as, hitting the ceiling with his head in the process although, I don’t think he even felt it thanks to that fur however, the ceiling sure did, collapsing the moment he violently hit it and of course, it collapsed everything on top of him.
Taniah- He was defeated just like that? An A rank monster getting defeated by a simple cave collapse does not seem that, doable to say the least. Let me guess, something hit him right in that spot and somehow defeated him? A weak area on his body where you can do direct damage to its magic stone?
Breve- Surely you jest, Miss President. I wish that was the case but, when part of the ceiling collapsed, so did the ground he was standing on, the walls near him and thanks to this collapse, he fell down to something akin to a precipice for how long and far he fell. As I said before, luck was really on our side and fortunately to all of us, none of us fell with him. Although we did discover a cave within a cave.
Kiana- (Né, Alice, do you think that is true? Over my adventurer days I’ve seen some unbelievable stuff and even heard stories that seemed to only belong to a myth or well, stories. What he’s saying seems quite the stretch to be real. An A rank monster not having understanding of his environment spacing? I’ve never seen such a thing from such strong monsters.)
Oh my, it seems this has piqued her interest, the moment he started to tell how his “unforgetting tale of how he met and faced an A rank monster” story happened, her golden eyes quickly switched their observative gaze towards him. Not only that, she sure is listening to him with all of her attention.
Alice- (I don’t know but, I can see what you’re saying. From what Taniah told me and from what the reports she showed me, it is true that they found the cave in the mountains, said cave then collapsed as he said and, in that moment, they found another cave within the cave. There is nothing about a monster in those reports and even if there was, an A rank monster acting in such a way is not normal at all just like you said. However, don’t say anything at all, just let him finish first and we will see it from there. I think Taniah is already in pair with this fallacy.)
