At the Academy entrance.
As I said before, Friday is one of the days of the week where less students attend classes and you can easily see and feel, or in other words, a good day to do some suspicious acts as there are less people inside of the Academy, less “eyes” watching your evil deeds. Once Kiana arrives at the Academy, she’s instantly greeted by a familiar face, but one that we haven’t seen for at least a week.
“Good morning, Kiana! How are you feeling? Sleep well?”
It’s no other than the President of the Student Council that greets our charming Kiana, or in other words, it’s Taniah.
Kiana- Ah good morning, Taniah! I’m doing great and yes, I did sleep well, but how about you, what brings you here?
“I’m also doing great, thanks for asking. I’m here for the same reason as you but, before we discuss anything at all, let’s wait for Alice-chan. It’s better if we are all together after all, I want to avoid repeating myself.”
Ooo, a little secretive but, I have the feeling it’s something that “few” people should know about it. Oh well, it seems our cute Kiana has decided to fully trust Taniah as she does not even ask a single question at all, she just patiently and excitedly waits for Alice to arrive, something that she does exactly 10 minutes later, arriving at 08:02 am to be extremely precise in case someone wants to know for some reasons.
As expected, they greet each other and from here, they quickly discuss what will happen and they do so in a quiet and secretive manner. In this case, the three of them will go to two specific special classes, where they will look around for something or someone that is or seems suspicious. These special classes they will be investigating are related to those two things that Kiana talked about yesterday, one class studies magic circles and then the other one studies rocks, and yes, this last one studies more than “simple” rocks, they also study magic stones and such. Now, I do (or did to be more precise) have a problem with this, since Friday is one of those days where there are overall fewer people attending the Academy it’s safe to say that, there is a really good chance that those special classes will have less members attending it. Though, I have to give more credit to Taniah as she was more than prepared for this, basically what she did was sending a letter yesterday to the classes saying that the student council will be doing a quick periodic inspection and that all the members registered have to be present. Now, there is a “problem” in this, as anyone can guess Taniah nor the student council, they cannot force anyone to do what they ask but, if anyone does decide to not come, while there won’t be any penalty per say as none of them have real authority for such however, since the student council has such influence in the Academy, it’s safe to say that, no one would do such a stupid mistake.
For first, they “decide” to visit the Geologist class, it’s what was agreed but Kiana is none the wiser to this. Anyway, they will first go to the Geologist class as I said and for last, at 14 pm they will go to the Magic Circle research class. Well then, with everything planned and in symphony, the three of them get moving and a few minutes later they arrive at the front door of the Geologist class, the walk was that long as the Geologist class is way up north and to the left, in other words, northwest and quite far to be honest.
Knock! Knock!
Alright, enough of my jabbering, once they got there, Taniah softly knocks at the door two times while at the same time saying that, it’s the student council. She didn’t mention that she's the President but from her voice and since she’s well known in the Academy, it’s more than safe to assume that they quickly know who she is.
“Kiana, before we get in and I’m sorry to say this but, don’t touch anything at all. Just use your skills and abilities to find something. In case you do, quietly tell it to Alice.”
She does have a serious look on her face but she means well. Although Kiana is a little confused about this, more so in the “don’t touch anything” part. To her, she cannot comprehend the need of such and because of it, the next question is more than expected.
Kiana- Erm, sure I can do that. But, can I ask why I can’t touch anything? I don’t think I have my hands dirty… I actually washed them before leaving home…

Taniah- Wai-No, I didn’t mean like that! It’s just that… unfortunately, the students here are a bit peculiar to be kind to them, if they see someone other than I or Alice touching their stuff, trouble can break out because of it. They are not bad people I would say, but they are very sensitive. Very sensitive in fact.
What an odd thing to say to anyone, however if we think about it for a little bit the reason behind their behaviour really isn’t for the bad side. It’s a common misunderstanding that happens in these situations, since they study rocks, magic stones, probably gems and so on, everything that has magic on them, they can be influenced by external forces. What I mean by this is that, let’s use Kiana as the example, since she has a great amount of magic energy, a magic gem that is unstable upon contact it can easily transform or mutate itself into something that they do not want. When I say unstable, I don’t mean a timing bomb for example. The magic gems, stones and so on, they hold said magic inside of them and upon being broken said magic is released to the world, in the case of summoning stones when that happens, it summons whatever is inside of it, so you can understand that, a magic gem that is damaged and slowly letting out said magic to the world, the moment it gets in contact with Kiana high level and dense magic energy, there is a good possibility that something can happen. And I went on a tangent, now did I?
Door noises!
Yep, I sure did as mere moments later, someone opens the door revealing whoever did so and I can say that, none of them (myself included), we weren’t expecting at all.
Taniah- Good morning, I’m Taniah Clarence, the President of the Student Council and these two here are my colleagues, Alice Florence and Kiana Eris. The three of us will be doing the periodic inspection, I hope that none of you have forgotten about it.
“Good morning, Miss President, I’m Breve, it's a pleasure to meet you. And you surely jest, of course we haven’t forgotten about the periodic inspection in fact, we were wondering when it was going to happen. However, please, get in.”
And another thing that surprised the living hell out of all of us! Seriously, from his looks you would never expect this guy to be this polite. Huh, a true gentleman I would say after all, he used the word “jest”, only those of higher class, more towards royalty or it’s better to say the people who deal with them, they are the only ones that have the tendency to use this word. Now I wonder why is someone like him in a place like this? Anyway, here’s a quick rundown about this “Breve” individual. A male student with a structure that is quite uncommon, he’s big and buff, easily telling the world and those that see him that, he workouts pretty regularly and thanks to it, he’s quite intimidating. Grabbing what I said before and this simple fact, it’s quite odd for someone like him to be in a place like this but, since we have no clue who this guy is, we have to assume that this is something that he enjoys and that is why he’s here. We, them in this case, have to be careful when judging the “book” by its cover after all, Kiana is more than a good example of that. With this slight possibility in mind, none of them can act towards him in a way that sees him as a suspect.
After understanding this small factor, the three young ladies slowly and one by one, they enter the classroom. Taniah is the first one, leading the pack of females towards the male “den”, Alice is the second to enter and when she does so, we can easily feel and see the tension growing as she has quite the presence. Then for last, our sweet Kiana enters and the mood quickly changes as she’s a sight to be seen, while this “Breve” guy is normal the other ones sure aren’t, in fact, they can even keep eye contact with her. Ha! They are embarrassed just from seeing Kiana! Feel the power of her cuteness-
Taniah- Good morning everyone, as I said I’m the President of the Student Council, Taniah Clarence, it’s a pleasure to meet all of you.
Once again, she has introduced herself but this time for the other three students that are there. These ones look the complete opposite from Breve, in their cases, they look like complete and utterly nerds and their reactions match their looks. Awkwardly, embarrassed and even with their voices somewhat stuttering, they greet Taniah.
Taniah- As I said in the letter, today I will be doing a periodic inspection with my fellow colleagues here. Some of you have been here for longer so, this is not the first time as each academic year the student council has to do inspections in all special classes. If this is your first time, don’t worry about it and don’t be afraid, it’s a normal procedure as the student council has the duty to make sure everything is in correct order. I also understand that this special class works with rather “sensitive” items and because of this, I’ve told them to not touch anything without permission although I would ask for you to say if there is something potentially dangerous. Accidents can happen and it’s best to avoid them if we can.
And here we have Taniah acting just like she’s supposed to. Her voice is firm and filled with confidence, a massive difference between the trio of nerds and even Breve, in her case, you can feel the “importance” of herself as she speaks, as she casually moves her hands around, as the rest of her body expresses what she’s saying. Everything about her screams in that way, it tells the world how important she really is and of course, she’s more than adapt for such. But, moving on, it seems one of them has something to say to her.
