“What do you mean by that? We keep on doing our job. We will get to the end of this charade and of course solve it. However, we still have to tread this situation carefully and that is why we are having this conversation at all.”

  Good saying Taniah, I more than agree with your way of seeing this complicated situation and of course, I can also feel your confidence behind your words. She has her chest puffed forward towards Kiana, her chin is also a little upwards and with her left hand close to her heart but grasping itself, all of this is more than enough to portray her convictions and confidence on herself to those that are around her.

  Alice- We will have to patiently wait but while doing so, we still will have to look for clues and of course, keep this place safe. Once they either make a mistake or we find something then, that’s when we move. Just as I said in the beginning, you can count on me for whatever you need or might need, this is not the first time we are doing something like this and unfortunately, I don’t think it will be the last one. I will do my utmost best to find them and of course, I will bring justice down into their corrupted minds and bodies, even if someone as powerful as Miss Roosevelt is behind them, it still does not matter for me, I will get to the bottom of this and solve it.

  Kiana- Roosevelt? Are you talking about Myra?

  Alice- I just used her as an example since she’s basically the most powerful person in the Academy in terms of economic and social status. Although in her case I might as well say in the whole country, there is no one that does not know her family or even her. While I did use her as an example, I actually don’t believe she would do something like this, this type of behaviour is not her style, it’s something beneath her, I think. However, if it’s someone else form her family then, that’s a whole different story. In that realm I cannot tell you if it’s true or not.

  Kiana- Well, from the little time that I had with her, I also doubt she would do something like this. It’s just like you said, these types of things don’t seem her style although I don’t understand what you mean by beneath her… She really seems like a nice girl, kind, beautiful, elegant. Not only did she help me, she even offered me to work with her! And, and! She’s actually my friend too! Ah, now that I said that, I probably should visit her sometime soon…

  Huh, she sure just dropped a nuke, didn’t she? A self-proclaimed friend of Myra Roosevelt, the individual known as The Devil of Roosevelt somehow has someone claiming to the world that they are friends. If this is not enough to raise the eyebrows of those that are listening to her, then, the look on her face will after all, it’s screaming “honesty” with it. Both Alice and Taniah cannot believe or even imagine someone like Myra to have a friend but, the one that had and has the audacity of saying something like this with a nonchalant look on her face and calm tone of voice is none other than, Kiana.

  “Impossible!”

  “This is Myra Roosevelt we are talking about!”

  These two expressions of disbelief are the first thoughts that appear on their minds and the look on their faces easily match the surprise and disbelief.

  “Are you sure that woman was in fact Myra and not an imposter? Kiana, you need to be careful in these situations, there are a lot of people who try to be someone they aren’t.”

  What an odd thing to say, Alice. Are you saying that Kiana is lying? Of course not, your beliefs and your reality are questioning the viridity and validity of what Kiana just said, what she just claimed to be true.

  Kiana- I think so? I mean, at least that was what everyone was calling her and they sure were a little too excited to see her... I was checking around for special classes that would get my interest, I did find a few of them but nothing that call me to them however, just as I finished lunch and was once again walking around the Academy, I stumble upon the merchant class and from there, a few things happen here, another there, and bam! I met her and even became friends with her!

  “Oh… In that case, it really was her... Ha, only someone like you could say and even do something like that.”

  “You’re more than right in that statement, even I, the President of the Student Council, have quite the “difficulty” while dealing with her. If I could, I would minimize our interactions to the very minimum but since she has so much influence and importance here, this is nothing but wishful on my part.”

  Auch, that sure is not nice at all to say. While Alice is amazed at Kiana accomplishments, Taniah on the other hand, she’s letting out her complaints about said person. Imagine having someone like Taniah saying something like this about a student…

  Kiana- Re-really? She’s such a nice girl… Are you saying that, she’s actually a bad person and I failed to see that?

  There is confusion on her face, but quickly turns to a heart-breaking look as her way of seeing Myra is getting tarnished and ripped apart. She really means what she said about her, to her Myra really is a nice girl that went out of her way to help out however, what Kiana failed to see and understand is the fact that, that only happened because it was no other than Kiana herself. This is the effect that Kiana's pure, na?ve and kind nature has on others, it makes them act towards her with genuine intentions or in other words, she allows them to be their true selves around her.

  “Ah Kiana, don’t keep going with that train of thought! Don’ think like that about her, we didn’t mean it like that!”

  You can see, hear and feel the sheer panic from Taniah and even somewhat Alice as you can see her face twist into something that resembles regret. Once again, this has just proved what I said about Kiana after all, these two individuals are willing to go as far as to not tarnish Kiana's look on Myra. Rather than keeping on pointing our Myra flaws in an attempt of persuading Kiana from not seeing her as a “good girl”, they are instead going back on what they said or are about to in this case, just seeing Kiana make that face was more than enough to send desperation down their minds.

  Taniah- It’s just that… It really is hard to deal with her. I don’t think she’s evil or anything like that but she's very sneaky. When she’s speaking, her words the majority of the time, they easily have double, triple or even quadruple meaning, it makes it hard to know what she truly means. But don’t get this wrong, if you truly are on her side then, she’s the best person to be friends with than what you can ever imagine and as long as you don’t get on her bad side, you’re good to go after all and like I said, she’s not evil at all. However, if you do happen to ever get on her bad side then, I don’t know if I can keep saying that, she’s not evil.

  Alice- I also agree with her but my interactions with her were much less than Taniah so in that regard I cannot say much and to be honest, I think I got persuaded to think in the same way not only from what Taniah tells me but mainly from the reputations she has. Kiana, you really are a kind soul and because of this I believe you can be friends with anyone however, the same cannot be said about the rest of us. If she treats you well then, try to ignore what we and anyone else says about her, be fair towards her and treat her the way she does to you or even better if you can.

  A true kind soul in a giant body.

  This expression is more than accurate enough to explain how Alice is and seems. Everything about her scream’s passion, fiercely and even aggressiveness. The majority of this is because of how she looks, in a good way of course, she really is that beautiful but, the latter is also true. Then, when you add the way she speaks, how her body expresses itself, it makes that impression even stronger but what completely nails it to the world is what she believes after all, bringing justice down towards someone else is not a normal behaviour at all. And yet, here she is, doing her best to be honest while at the same time, being kind towards Kiana, her friend. Ah, I’ve yapped for a little too much, while I was doing so Kiana once again brought both of her tender hands towards her slightly red cheeks, covering them. It seems she got a little embarrassed from what Alice said about her.

  “Ah you’re embarrassing me… But I don’t think I did anything special at all, I just told her that I wanted to be her friend and that’s it.”

  Taniah- And that is exactly why you are able to say that. It’s because you treated her like a normal person and unfortunately, that is something that both I and Alice have a hard time doing. Everyone in this city, country and frankly, in all of the continent, the name Roosevelt is well known, they have done so much throughout the country that, it’s more than normal they are so well known. When you have someone in front of you that belongs to this family or it has a fraction of importance as they, you have the tendency to treat them differently, you end up instinctually treating them with preference for example. I can only imagine how lonely she might actually feel after all, how many people do treat her as a normal woman?

  Alice- She’s close to our age, right? Now that you said that, going through all these years without actually having someone by your side that is genuine, it must have been quite hard and as you said, lonely. I think the worst part about this is that she's suffering this not because of how “evil” she is but only because of her social status… If she got there by herself then, I think it would be a little different but, in her case, she was born into such a family and just from that, she was destined for this to happen.

  “That’s beyond sad...”

  It really is Kiana, it really is. I more than understand what Alice is saying and, in a way, I can also understand what Myra might be going through. After all, I’m the Hero of this world. I have seen my share view of people wanting to be by my side not because of who I am as an individual but thanks to the social status that my title brings. I have seen people trying to use my title as a way to grow in life but not a good way, if there is any of course, no, they have tried to use it as a way to blackmail others so that they can get riches and fame, some even tried to use it as a way to scam others and so on. In all my years I have only met one person that was actually by my side for who I am and not for my title. But enough of me, we can talk about this another time.

  As anyone can guess, the moment that Kiana said that and mind you, the look on her face matches the meaning behind her simple phrase, her golden eyes have a distant look on them but one also filled with sorrow, she gently bits the lower lip one that still and will always be as smooth as a spider silk web but one that not only seems to be high quality but also one that has a slight shine to it thanks to the lipstick she has. The rest of her face is one filled with pity as she realizes the implications of what Taniah and Alice said about Myra's potential loneliness.
