Taniah- Calm down, nothing of that sort happened. I hope so… An-Anyway! I more than know what you’re talking about and the first time I went there I had the same reaction. I think the reason for that to happen is because not only do they spend a lot of time there, they also have the tendency to have the windows closed and the door of course. To make it worse, since they are constantly using magic, you know very well that doing that tires the body by a lot if not even more intense than doing a simple run for 5 kilometres. Sweat starts to fall down from their bodies, the smell follows and since they do what I just said, it’s the “best” recipe for creating that type of environment. This is why I had masks with me, several of them in this case. Didn’t I say anything to the two of you?

  Alice- You had masks!? And several of them!? I almost choked because of that smell! If it wasn’t for Kiana's brilliant help, I would have thrown up everything that I ate at lunch! Not only that, I would have left that place as fast as I could and I don’t know if I wouldn’t do anything to that guy while at it.

  “Ups, it seems I forgot to warn the two of you! Tee-Hee?! My bad!”

  She slightly taps the top of her head with her right fist as she says this, not only that she also closes one eye, sticks out her tongue a little bit as she does all of this. All of it with a teasing tone of voice and of course a mischievous look on her face. Now, while this is quite the sight to anyone that is fortunate to see this, not only her cuteness still does not come close to Kiana (never I say!), at the same time, Alice's face is twitching to something akin to pure rage and fury.

  Alice- Don’t tee-hee? me! That was a catastrophe waiting to happen! Image if for some reason I got unconscious? And then, what would happen if I “somehow” used my magic while unconscious? What if I “used” a Pyro magic spell in that place? Can you even understand what would happen!?

  “Oh, I know! It would’ve gone kaboom! ?>w
  Alright, you are way too happy for something that dramatic. With a massive smile on her tender lips, Kiana says this with a somewhat louder tone of voice and one filled with excitement. Her golden eyes are fully open as she expresses her sentiments, as she expresses said excitement. Oh, silly Kiana, you would’ve gone “kaboom” yourself if that ever happened! Sigh… This girl sure is weird sometimes, don’t you agree?

  Taniah- Alright, alright! I got it! I’m sorry! I will be more careful next time. Let’s stop it here and get serious now, did you find anything at all?

  Alice- Humph! You damn fiend… Whatever, with the exception of that student, not much that I can say although, I did sense something a little out of place per say. However, Kiana will tell you more about it as she was the one that put everything together.

  Taniah- Ooo, that sounds interesting. Though, that student you say... The one that feels so out of place? The one that basically answered all my questions? And he did so in a similar way as “Breve”, he was extremely calm and stoic, especially from how late they were. Sigh, I really have a “little” bit to say about all of them but, unlike that “Breve”, he is a real member of that class. Look at these pictures...

  Just like the previous time, from the cabinet and from a drawer of said cabinet, one that still is behind them, she takes out another small notebook and from inside of it, she takes out six pictures of the members of the Magic Circle special class. Just like she said, the pictures match the current members, the other two pictures are from members that have graduated. The rest of them, there is nothing of note, some have gained a little weight others lost it and so on, small details and contrarily from the previous special class members, their economic status seems to not have changed or at the very least, they are not showing it.

  Alice- Well, in this regard we really have nothing to say about them. The only thing that I can say from that student is mainly thanks to the “Breve” guy as if we went to the Magic Circle class first, I would probably miss his behaviour. But just like you said, his behaviour was far too calm and stoic, especially in front of you. Hmm, while I cannot claim that I know any of them, from the reaction of the other three I would say that, maybe he got “corrupted” recently?

  Taniah- That is a good possibility after all, those other students from the Geologist class, their economic status did jump by quite a bit in a span of less than a year so yes, it really is a good possibility that this very student went through a similar process but in terms of “attitude”. He really was like “Breve” in the way he speaks, his tone of voice, how fast he spoke, always at the same speed and even his posture was extremely similar… Tsk, while I don’t like this, it might actually be something good for us as if we see someone behaving like this, we can somewhat assume that they might be connected. However, you did say that, Kiana found something, mind telling me what it was?

  “Yes, of course! In the underground room I’ve found magic residues all over the place and that is what Alice also found, however, with them I can easily tell that they were doing some sort of experiments before we went there. But I will explain how it works a little bit as otherwise you might not see my point of view…”

  With this, just like she did with Alice, she proceeds to give out a simple explanation of how magic residues work. She tells Taniah how long said magic residues last for, what determinants said timer and so on. While at it, she also said that, while she couldn’t precisely identify the type of spells and magic they were using, she was able to figure out it was neutral magic or in other words, magic related to barriers and so on.

  Kiana- From what I’ve gathered and from my speculations, I think they were doing magic experiments or just straight-out using magic while we were having lunch. I doubt any of them could use A rank spells or magic circles even with all of their magic combined, actually, I don’t even think they could reach C+ together.

  Taniah- That’s why you have drawn that conclusion then… Huh, I never knew that, magic worked in that way. Sure, I know a little bit of it but that’s only what I was taught in school however, I do have a question, the Academy does not prohibit you from using your special class at lunch time in fact, as long you meet the minimal presence time in normal classes, you can spend the rest of the time in the special class. With this, there is a good chance that they were using the class at lunch…

  Alice- You sure were quick on picking the fallacy of what you were saying but, I did ask them and they said that, they haven’t done anything at all. Not only that, they got rather late for the inspection, why would they leave the room and then come back? Especially the three of them? All just to do a simple questionnaire from a few professors, one that they didn’t know was happening? Yeah sure, either they are lying or someone is doing something behind their backs.

  Taniah- You got a point, and a good one at that. I did realize as I was speaking but you actually put it in words what my brain was figuring it out. However, while I also think it is quite improbable, there might be a chance that, they were doing something after all, they don’t have to participate directly at said event, no, they just need to leave the door open and allow the real villains to do what they want. Now that I’m saying this, maybe that student is the one doing it and the other three are innocents...

  Kiana- Uhm, is there nothing that we can do? Don’t we have evidence that, not only they lied to us, I can also easily prove that they were indeed doing something or someone was, just like you said.

  A good question Kiana but, one that is far too na?ve and ignorant of the greater scale. This is not a simple subject that you can directly tackle, if it was a battle for example, yes, you can easily go straight forward and deal with any possible problems but in this case? Not really and I don’t recommend it either, although Taniah is more than aware of that fact.

  Taniah- While I could try to “force” them to report to the student council each time they want to use the classroom, I more than doubt the Academy administration will let that slide. The evidence that you talk about, it’s nowhere near enough to prove anything at all and while they were lying, they still aren’t committing a “crime”.

  See what I was talking about? While Kiana is a little disappointed at her way of thinking or more so for not seeing this, it does not make her question something wrong and that shouldn’t be done it’s just that-

  “There simply are far too many factors that do not allow us to act in a straightforward type of way.”

  Taniah- We cannot just go there and say, “Stop right there, criminal scum! You’re under arrest for your crimes!”. They will answer with, “What did we do!?”. Now what, what do we have that can “criminalize” them? Even if we found something at all, something that allowed us to actually do something similar to this, what about all the other ones that also are participants? We have no clue how deep this run, how many they are and of course, if they have any backing at all.

  Kiana- Then, what are we supposed to do? What do we do now?

  She tilts her head slightly and with a genuine curious look on her beautiful face. She means it, to her, this can easily be solved by brute force and if someone dares to keep on doing it, just do the same thing, beat some sense into them until they stop or are completely gone. What a simpleton but, that’s Kiana alright, when you have that much strength behind you, I can easily see and understand her simple way of seeing the problems at hand and the way to solve them. Even I, if I was in her shoes, I would do the same, casually walking up to them and either solving the problem or getting answers that will help me solve said problem. However, as time told me in my well, time, the situation is not that simple at all, a lot of innocent lives are at “risk” and because of this, they cannot act in a way that said innocent would suffer. Kiana's simple way of solving is definitely something that will chain a series of events that will make those innocent lives suffer and if we look back at when Anya was being bullied, those Black Wolves Fang, they are more than strong enough to cause a complete and utterly bloodbath.
