The next day.
After that magnificent night I will say, she wakes up rather earlier, at around 6 and something am. Since there are no classes and nothing urgent for her to do, she actually stays in bed for another hour or so, thinking about what happened. The sun slowly rises and in just the same way, it slowly illuminates the world, giving life into earth, this side of the earth that is. The light, the vibrant yellow colour it has, hits Kiana left side as she’s staring at the ceiling while in bed. It’s not enough to bother her as it’s not hitting her eyes however, it does slowly warm herself and the sheets above her. It’s a good feeling but once the sun was fully up with it, she did the same, slowly getting up and going on her merry morning. It was a chaotic night and with it, it would be better if she moved her body a little bit to help out relax her mind. With this in mind, in the afternoon she decides to go to the guild to take on a quest, in this case another boring gather quest although once she was at the forest, she did defeat a group of slimes that were eating the flowers she needed to gather. In fact, she had to go all over the place because of this as the slimes for some inexplicable reason, decided to eat only the flowers she needed to gather. Oh fate, silly fate, you sure like to mess with us, now do you? Anyway, after taking a little more time than normal, Kiana completes her quest and goes back to the guild, getting awarded 10 rank points and 75 coins. She now has 60 points on her adventurer rank and 1550 coins for her budget. After this she goes home and the rest of her day goes like normal.
April 8, Monday.
The day that she has decided on what to do with her future, the day that she has decided on what special class to join.
She wakes up exactly at 6:59 am, just a minute earlier however, it’s more than enough to tell how excited and even somewhat anxious after all, she still has no clue if she can join said class or not. Anyway, her normal routine goes like normal but she leaves home at 7:45 am, it’s earlier but there is a reason for this as she intends to arrive at the Academy a little earlier so that she can talk to the person who will allow or not her to join said class. Once at the Academy she goes directly to the main building, she enters it and from there, she descends down a set of stairs, once that’s done, she goes forward a little bit until she’s in front of a metal door. There is a sign right in the middle of the door right at head height. On it, there is something rather odd written on it but at the same time, something that should be common sense.
“Knock before opening”.
See? I find it odd for something like this needs to be in a door but, what do I know? This place is already filled with way too nice (if you can catch my drift) people, so, maybe it’s understandable?
Knock! Knock! Knock!
She gently knocks at the door, but she does so exactly three times. It seems this person told Kiana for her to do this, don’t ask me why though, I don’t know it either. However, Kiana was rather quick to get in the Academy and consequently here, what I mean is that, it isn’t even 8 am, close but not there, so there might be a chance that this person has yet not arrived.

...
And the lack of answering should prove this not only that, the lack of sound from inside of the room is also something that should be the final hit of the nail however, with Magic Sense then, it really is. In other words, there is no one inside of the room, Kiana is a little bit earlier. Now, what should she do? Wait for this person to arrive or come back later? Reasonable options but it seems fate has something else in mind.
“Kiana?”
A voice that should be very familiar to any of us, a voice that is soft but at the same time, caring and with a little bit of surprise behind it. This is in fact the person that Kiana is looking for.
“Ah Anya! Sorry to bother you so early but I need to talk to you.”
If she was surprised before then, she’s definitely a little worried right now after all, having a friend come to you this early does make you raise an eyebrow with suspicion, right? If it was something regular then, you wouldn’t think of nothing but, from someone who you have last seen basically a week ago, it really makes you think of the reason for them to be here.
Anya- Erm-Sure, let’s get in then.
And so, after this awkward greeting they both get in. As I’ve mentioned, it has been almost a week and since then, Anya has been organizing things, now the lab looks much more apart. Here’s a quick description in case anyone might want to hear. The room is the same size so no point in touching on that. In the middle, said table is still there but it's now “filled” with equipment on top of it, ones that are well positioned and organized. On both sides of the table and close to the walls, cabinets are present and they are filled with god knows what. Equipment, materials and stuff like that. In front of the table, the machines are located there, massive box thingies with a mirror in the middle... Yes, Kiana has no clue what a computer is, so this is going to be fun. Anyway, as one can easily see, everything is neatly organized, a massive difference from before. Now, you can actually move around and of course, do some research.

Anya- Uhm, what brings you here? Do you need something?
Kiana- Actually yes, I do, but before I ask... What is that? What is that boxy thingy? I’ve used something like that a few days ago but I still have no clue what it is. Not only that, I had a teacher use it from me and then Myra…
With her right arm extended towards the “boxy thingy” and with her index pointing at it, she asks this with quite the curious look on her face, although she did say a rather important name while doing so.
Anya- Eh? Boxy thingy? And wait, are you talking about Myra Roosevelt? The famous merchant? The Devil of Roosevelt? Eh?
Ah, while Anya is beyond confused to the “boxy thing”, what shocked her the most was in fact the mention of Myra Roosevelt. And let me tell you, The Devil of Roosevelt sure sounds like a really nice title to have. I somehow can see it but, we are lacking a little bit of information about it so, I have no clue why she’s called by such.
Kiana- Yes, I’m talking about Myra! Do you know her? And why does she have that name? What?
Somehow the one most confused is not Anya but in fact, our lovely Kiana who tilts her head slightly sideways as she’s not able to understand the reason behind Myra “title”.
Anya- I don’t know either, it’s just what I’ve heard from a few students… Any-Anyway, that “boxy thingy” it’s a monitor... Ah, but I don’t think you know what that is either... How can I explain this...
As Anya is trying to figure out the best way to explain what it is and what it does, Kiana on the other hand, she intensely stares at Anya with her captivating golden eyes, ones that are sparkling with excitement and with a smile that goes from one side to the other, she patiently waits for Anya explanation, although...
“(Ahhh! Why is she starting at me so intensely?)”
It seems Anya is getting a little embarrassed as her cheeks are gaining a soft shade of red to them, it more than seems that she's not used to this. Oh well, just young ladies behaving like such.
Anya- Erm, this boxy thingy is called a monitor and it is used to project images into it. However, this is not done by using magic but instead, by several components that use electricity to function. These ones then, once they are working and they have electronic information, they project said images into a scream made of glass.
“(It’s much more complicated than this but, she sure seems quite happy.)”
Kiana- No way! Without magic!?
And, for some odd reason, one that even I have trouble understanding, from Anya's simple but easy to understand explanation of what a monitor is, the thing that literally took her breath and made her recoil a little bit backwards was in fact, the fact that it does not use magic to function. What are you? A cavewoman? One that just found you what fire is? What?
Anya- Yes, but, from your reaction, can you do the same but with magic instead?
Well, it more than seems that Kiana's reaction did not bother her at all. Instead, from this nice follow up, she’s able to ask Kiana something rather interesting.
Kiana- Ah yes, you can actually do it! By using Light magic, you can create something akin to a crystal ball or even a mirror, one that captures whatever is in front of it then, it transmits said information into another crystal ball or mirror. Although, I’ve never tried before so not much I can say about it.
In fact, I can actually do it, although, it’s not like I can show it... Maybe I can show Miranda something nice? Wait, why did she cross my thoughts? Is she thinking about me? Nah, never.
Anya- I see, it works almost in the same way but by different methods. However, it’s the first time that I hear that you can use magic to replicate what a monitor does. Maybe a monitor was created with that spell/s in mind? Anyway, is there anything else you want to ask?
With a quick “yes!”, one that she did by violently nodding her head, and I mean that, like, I think she could break the neck of a normal person from how violent it was. Seriously, is she ok? I mean, definitely not! She’s way too excited, just like a child would be in a world of new things right next to them, annoyingly asking the parents “what is this” over and over. As she did that way to normal nod, she then also pointed to another “boxy thingy” that is in the same direction of the monitor and below the desk, in other words, she’s pointing to the computer. As best as she could, Anya explained to her what a computer is and what it does, but of course, with more answers, comes more questions. With the patience of a saint, and with a gentle look on her face, Anya answers all the following questions from Kiana. She asked about the mouse, the keyboard, all these cables that seem to stretch for meters and meters even though they are neatly organized, she also asked about the other machines present there and so on, this seemed like a complete tour of the place. Although Anya explanations were done in a simple way as she noticed that, when she went too deep into them, Kiana more than seemed to be lost even though she had a happy look on her face. It’s normal, Kiana is excited to see new things and Anya is happy that someone has interest in her things.
