HI EVERYBODY!!!

  Okay okay okay, I’ve been thinking SO MUCH about being small and I just had to write it down before my brain explodes!!!

  I’m TINY!!!

  Like super-duper tiny!!!

  I can sit on Sari’s shoulder and she doesn’t even feel me until I poke her ear really hard!!!

  I can hide in Enkidar’s pocket and peek out like a secret agent!!!

  I can walk under ONE LEAF and it’s like a giant green roof over my head!!!

  Murray’s bigger than me sometimes and he’s a RAT!!! A RAT!!! Can you believe that???

  Everything is HUGE when you’re this size!!!

  Raindrop? SPLASH! It’s a whole bucket on my head and I’m soaked in like two seconds!!!

  Puddle? That’s a LAKE!!! I could swim across it but I’m scared I’d drown in one drop!!!

  Blade of grass? Tower!!! I have to climb around it like it’s a skyscraper!!!

  I can squeeze through cracks in tree bark nobody else fits!!!

  I can see UNDER flower petals — the little squiggly veins and dew drops like shiny glass marbles!!!

  I can hear CLOCKWORK BUGS ticking!!! And wind going “shhhhh” through moss!!! And SPIDERS spinning silk like tiny heartbeat drums!!!

  Being small is scary sometimes!!!

  Big feet could squish me and not even know!!!

  But also??? Being small is AWESOME!!!

  I’m brave in a super special way!!!

  I fly through storms that would knock bigger wings down!!!

  I hide in places so secret even the SUN can’t find me!!!

  I keep going even when everything is too big because if I stop I’ll never see what’s on the other side and I REALLY WANT TO SEE!!!

  Being small isn’t weak!!!

  It’s just a different kind of big!!!

  The world has GIANTS — trees, grown-ups, problems, dreams!!!

  But tiny things make the biggest difference!!!

  Tiny seed → giant forest!!!

  Tiny spark → huge fire!!!

  Tiny kid like me can still carry a message that changes EVERYTHING!!!

  I LOVE being small!!!

  I get to see the world super close!!!

  And maybe — just maybe — the world gets to see ME too!!!
