My parents continued to argue with their reasoning, but the school committee showed no intention of backing down from this decision. I asked my parents to give up, and they looked at me sadly. We all went back inside the house, but then I assured them that this isn't the only school in Tokyo. There are others elsewhere; it might be a bit further away than this one, but I can still attend school there. Plus, they didn't have the right to ban me from other schools; they only expelled me from theirs. Not to mention, I also don't want my name to be included among those who graduated from such an unfair and hateful school towards Believers.
"AAAAAAAAAAARRRGGHHH!!!"
*!!!*
The three of us suddenly heard someone screaming from just outside our home. We all rushed outside and found out that Claudia was there. We were all thrilled that she came home, but we noticed that she just used her magma in a large amount because of the bright glow emitted by the magma, lighting up the street at night.
"Don't worry, I did not kill anyone! I just threatened them because I just heard that you were expelled as well, Karin-chan!"
"CLAUDIA!!!"
"CLAUDIAAAAA!!"
"NEE-CHAN!!"
Ignoring her explanation, the three of us immediately rushed to hug her instead. We kept saying to her that we were all so worried for her. My sister said that, instead of getting angry about the whole thing, we were worried about her instead. She shed tears and hugged us back with joy. After a few seconds, we finally went inside.
In the living room, she asked us to sit and listen because she wanted to talk. We all sat down and asked her what this was about.
"Papa, Mama, and Karin-chan! I know this is too sudden, but I'm going to leave this family."
*!!!*
We were all obviously shocked. We immediately said sorry that we may have done something wrong to her. We kept apologizing to her. But then she assured us and apologized to us for not speaking clearly. She then bowed her head towards us on the floor.
"I once again will say this. I am NOT leaving because I hate you guys or anything. In fact, I love you guys. I want to spend my entire life with you three. But then this incident happened, and you three had to be involved and paid for the consequences, and I hate that!"
"I'm going somewhere far! I have a plan, and I need a lot of time to achieve that! That is why I have to leave for the time being! But once again, don't think of this as me making up excuses so that I would leave and never come back! I will come back one day! And only then will you guys understand what I am doing now!"
We were quite sad to hear that she's leaving, but at the same time, she wanted to do this of her own accord to stay with us, so we were touched as well. I went to hug her and cried.
"Please come back, Nee-chan! Promise me!"
"Of course, I will, Karin-chan! I'll try to come home sooner than planned!"
We said our goodbyes in tears. Mom and Dad also came and hugged us. We didn't say anything the entire time we hugged. That silent and quiet moment was the most peaceful and comforting moment I have ever experienced. And afterwards, Claudia finally left us.
A month later, I transferred to a different school. It was a bit further from home, but it's still a reasonable commute. Sadly, this school also bans Believers from entering, but there have been no actual Believers attending this school for years. I had no other options because if it’s a little further than this, then I would have to take trains for school, and that would be a little bit of a hassle.
I also enrolled in this school at quite a weird time. It was already one month left until the mid-term. I spent the first month of this school to preparing for their curriculum. After days and more days of pulling all-nighters, I got the highest score in school in the mid-term exam. I quickly became famous as the genius transfer student.
The reason I did this is that I have to make a name for myself with my academic skills so that people won't find out about the reasoning for my transfer. Also, I did it as a way to stay on top of my sister, who may never go to school ever again. So that I won't lose to her when she comes back because I have a feeling she's gonna be a lot smarter by then.
Oh, I also remembered that I have to be kind. I must not forget about my lifelong dream of meeting a prince one day. I tried to make friends in my class at first. Everyone in my class seems fine. I could easily talk to any of them. When I saw someone was on cleaning duty, I helped them even though it wasn't my turn. I did all of these to practice being kind and not to seek any attention.

When the final exam came, I excelled again and became the student with the highest score in school. I was so happy, and so were my classmates. I graduated from elementary school with relative ease.
Then I entered Junior High school. It was at this grade that people started calling me a princess. They already know my capabilities and have already respected me from day one. People from other classes even know my name.
Three years of my junior high went by so fast, as there's no particular incident or anything, but I still loved every second of them all. I was also ranked 1 for three consecutive years for being a student with the highest total scores in the school.
By the time I enrolled in Senior high, I was seen very highly and respected by everyone else, including the teachers. They praised my intelligence, my beautiful appearance, and also my kind attitude towards just about anyone. It was in this year that I truly felt like I was finally on the same footing as that princess from the fairy tale.
So, this means that I will finally meet my prince soon. I am so excited!!
But then all of my glory came to a halt. During the middle term exam, when the results were announced and shown on the school board, I was not the student with the highest score. Someone beat me, so I looked up their name.
Fukibayashi Neo? It was a boy. I have never heard of this name before. After finding out about him, it seems like he went to a different junior high school previously.
I immediately approached him in his class. During my first encounter with him, I was so angry because he kept bragging about beating me. Grrrrrr!! I will never forget about you, Fukibayashi Neo!!!
And then we kept headbutting each other through our test scores for the next few weeks. He kept bragging every time we compared our scores because he always won. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Why can't I beat this guy? It's so frustrating. . .but at the same time, kinda fun. Because it reminded me of my time with my sister. I miss her so much. Where are you, Nee-chan? I hope you're okay.
When I went home that day, I was shocked. Nee-chan came back!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
I immediately jumped and hugged her in the living room. She's 21 years old now, and she looks so cool and mature. I love her so much!! She said she has achieved her goal.
During the night, she finally explains to all of us that she has been dubbed the 9th Strongest Believer in the entire world. She was accepted into the ranks of the Ten Commandments of God. We were shocked but super happy as well. She explained further that this specific group of people has authorities even higher than even United Nations. She told us that she had already abolished the rules that prevent Believers from entering this city. She also told us that now she can stay with them as much as she wants, but at the same time, she now works for that group and occasionally has to leave and go abroad for missions regarding Faith power.
We were all too happy to welcome her back that we didn't really care too much. When we think about it, isn't this just like when the eldest daughter has gotten a job and only has very few times to be in their parents' house every day? We were just so happy to have her back. And to top it all off, she told us that she is going to stay for an entire month before she leaves for a few weeks. We all understood her position and accepted her into the family as she is. I am so happy right now.
When I was playing with my phone, she caught a glimpse of Neo's face on my phone. My sister's face turned red a bit when she saw Neo. I felt a bit tingly in my chest, but I didn't understand it. I took this photo secretly without telling him. But when I realized what I just did. I have no explanation. But at the same time, I also didn't want the picture deleted.
My school routine with Neo continues every day, all the way until we're both in our 3rd year in high school. As time went on, my stance towards Neo was no longer purely based on anger. I became fond of him. Being close to him felt really good. I was having fun every day. I wanna call him a friend, but at the same time, rival seems the more appropriate term.
And then I was reminded of the prince from the story. Um, he didn't seem like the kind of prince from the story from the outside. However, why do I like being with him so much? When I met him at the library today, his face when he taught me the things that I struggled with was really, really cool and endearing.
. . . .
Ah yes, I've fallen in love with that guy. . .
Aaaaahhhh. . .
Is he the prince from the tale, though? I have no idea of knowing.
But then I remembered that he was rather close to that midget first year, and it suddenly made me mad.
But I also realized that I just felt jealous. This confirms my feelings towards him. Oh no. . .
Nearing the final exam of my third year in high school, it suddenly hit me that this would be my final chance to ever confess my feelings to him. We might go our own separate ways once we graduate, and that thought kept dreading inside my head the whole time.
I have decided that I will confess to him after the final exams, when our scores are shown on the school board. That way, I can surprise him and everyone, and he will surely have no other choice in that chaos but to accept my love. Hehehehehe! This felt wrong, but at the same time, not really?
And then that day came, but I was also surprised that I beat him in total scores. I immediately confessed to him right there in front of everyone. He accepted my confession.
. . . . . . . . . .
HE ACCEPTED MY CONFESSION?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
THE TIME HAS COME!! IT'S MY PRINCE!!! MY LIFE LONG DREAM!! MY PRINCE IS HERE!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
I dragged him to my house, and he immediately told our parents his plan to take the relationship seriously. My parents accepted his proposal, and my life seems to be heading in a direction similar to the story from long ago. Well, minus the evil Believer sister, because mine was really sweet.
Immediately after, he also dragged me to his house and introduced me to his parents and his older brother.
