"Heheheh, right? My Faith power is called Gaia Force, Elemental Type. I can create magma out of nowhere as long as my Source is unharmed!"
"Huh? Source? What is that?"
"Huh? You don't know about the general rules and typing of Faith power? Well, to be quick, Faith power falls into one of the five categories: Elemental, Armament, Transformation, Summoner, and Special. They will always follow the precise rules of that category. It's been documented for thousands of years, and every Believer's Faith power always falls into these same categories. Since mine is an Elemental Type, we have this thing called Source. It is located somewhere randomly on any of our body parts. If the Source is harmed, fortunately, it won't harm us at all; however, we will lose access to our Faith power for an entire minute. The first 30 seconds are when our body parts regenerate until they're completely healed, and then we can't use our Faith power for another 30 seconds. You got it?"
"Ah, so it’s like that! Gotcha!"
"Wait, you actually got that? I said quite a lot, and you catch all that?"
"Well, I'm kind of a genius at school, hehehe!"
"School? I WANNA GO TO SCHOOL!!"
"Oh yeah! You should! We can have fun at school as well! We'll be together 24/7!! Oh, wait, but you're a lot older than me, we'll be separated then!"
"EEEHHH? Then I don't wanna go to school if I’m gonna be alone!!"
"Wait, since you have no educational background, I can ask Mom and Dad to help convince my school to put you in my class! But you'll have to pass the entrance exam to determine your grade, though. Are you sure you can do that?"
"Well, I told you I am kind of a genius! I'll do it, hehehe!"
"Wow, awesome!! Yeeey!!"
"Yeeey hahahaha! Truthfully, I was really nervous about being adopted here. I was also a bit afraid that whoever is gonna become my sibling is going to be a bully, so I was planning to shut them up with my magma, hahahaha!"
"Hey now, please stop teasing me!”
"There's gonna be plenty more in the future, I fear, my new little sister!!"
"Hahaha, okay, bring it on, my new big sister!!"
Wow, that was one of my greatest days ever. Claudia-chan is such a wonderful girl. She's pretty. She's a Believer. And she just seemed like a really nice and bright person. We just met, and she already made me laugh. I am so excited to spend my days with someone like this as family.
Which reminds me, I am so glad that I have a different sister from that princess from the tale. I am so glad that our fate is different. I just hope that the part where I meet my prince will not be different. Aaaaaah, I want to meet my prince so baaaaaaaaaaddd. But I must not be hasty! I must grow up to be a proper lady and a kind person first before I meet him.
A week later, a familiar face came into my classroom. It was Claudia-chan. Our parents have finished all the paperwork for her to come into this school. She also passed the test and was granted to be in the same class as me. I immediately greeted her with a big smile on my face.
During her introduction and greetings, she told everyone in front of the class that I was her sister and that she was adopted into my family. She has no shame sharing all of that, and instead, she feels very excited and grateful to have a family. I am so excited to spend my days with her at school.
During recess, she was surrounded by almost everyone in the class. Everyone was curious about her because of her foreign name, foreign face, and foreign origin. She immediately became the center of attention in class. Not to mention the fact that she is 4 years older than everyone in class.
She kindly answers everyone's questions regarding her. She responds to each and every one of them, but when she realizes it's already halfway through recess, she excuses herself to everyone and wants to speak to me privately. I, as well as everyone else, was also confused. She got up from her seat and grabbed me, and dragged me outside the class.
She drags me all the way to the girls' toilet. She pushed me inside one of the doors, and she went inside as well and closed the door.
"W-What's with you, Claudia-chan?"
"SSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTT!!!"
Claudia shushes me as she puts her pointing finger in front of her mouth.
"I am so glad you didn't say it yet, but please keep it a secret about me being a Believer!"

"Hm? Why's that?"
"Because, according to our parents, this school has a really strict stance against Believers! Or not even that, the entire city, Tokyo itself, has issued a city-wide ban against Believers in the past. They weren't allowed a permit to go inside the city!"
"Oooooooooooooo! I understand! Just now in class, I almost spilled your Faith power to everyone! Now I'm glad I didn't!"
"According to the rumours, it seems like there was a group of terrorists made up entirely of Believers who almost destroyed the entire city about 100 years ago!"
"Eh? That's ancient history, then! Things have changed! This is not fair!"
"Welp, the law is the law! Can't really do anything about it!"
"Got it! My lips are sealed!"
"Hehe, thank you, sister!"
"You're welcome, sister!"
When school's over, I was happy to say that Claudia has the potential to be the best student in school, even without any prior educational background.
We walked home together, and half of the way, we were also with some classmates. We chatted, and we grew closer as siblings. I am so glad for my life right now. When we arrived at home, after we greeted my mom, we immediately went upstairs and went to her room.
She asked me to teach her about stuff that you learn back in the 1st and 2nd years of elementary. I must be honest; this is quite a tough task for a mere 10-year-old. Because even teachers need so many years before they become qualified to teach at school, even for elementary grade subjects.
I dug up all of my old quizzes, tests, and exams. I taught her everything I've learned, but I was so bad at teaching at first that I was afraid she wouldn't get it at all. But how surprising it was to see her understanding everything I taught her, that now I truly believe she was born gifted.
Days, weeks, and months have passed, and finally, at the end of my 3rd year of elementary school, Claudia has quickly caught up with the current year's curriculum and grade. It was very exhausting, but it was worth it all for her. Claudia was so happy and glad to have me as her sibling. She hugged me on the way home and kept thanking me for being patient with her every day. Although my grades fell a bit, they never reached red scores, so I was safe.
Back at home, Mom greeted us. Claudia went ahead and told her about me lecturing her this whole time and that she herself has already caught up. Mom was so happy and overjoyed. She started cooking the same thing she always cooked for me during these occasions. Ramen with melted cheese.
Aaaaaaah, I really love this food!
When I looked towards Claudia, she was touched and was crying because she said she had never eaten anything this good. Then Mom came over towards her and kissed her forehead. She said, 'Never forget that you are also my daughter and an important member of this family.’.
Claudia immediately got out of her seat and stopped eating for a moment. She hugged Mom and buried her face deep in her chest.
"Thank you for adopting me! Thank you for treating me like family! Thank you for giving me a house! Thank you for giving me clothes! Thank you for making me able to go to school! Thank you for being my parents! Thank you for giving me a sister! And thank you for always loving me!" said Claudia as she was crying tears of joy and gratitude.
Mom hugged her back, and she felt a bit teary. Hearing Claudia say all of that also made me shed tears of joy. But then I also got up from my seat and hugged both mom and Claudia from behind and started crying as well. We all spent a few minutes just hugging each other. This was one of the sweetest memories of my life.
And then we advanced to the 4th year of elementary. It was during this semester that Claudia began to have a little contest of scores. We decided that the winner can command the loser to perform any given task, and the loser has to obey. At first, we both kept having the same exact scores with one another, but all of our scores have always been in the 80s range. But during the middle term exam, I got a better score than Claudia by quite a margin, with a 95 while she got 82.
From then on, I have always won our contests, even though my scores are always ramping up to the 90s, and there was also one time where we had the same score again, and it was 97. My sister is so scarily genius that she could easily catch up to me.
But then, in our 6th grade in elementary school, an incident happened. Someone caught a glimpse of Claudia using her Faith power at school. She simply used a very tiny bit of magma to heat her cold bento; that was all. It was the most harmless utilization of her Faith power. She also did it on the rooftop of the school, where there was no one. Well, at least that's what she thought, because somebody in the lower grade saw her and immediately reported it. This became a huge scandal at the entire school.
Everybody in school gathered on the field, including students and teachers from junior high and senior high. Claudia was forced to stand in the front and confess to what she did. She was pressured by the teachers to use her Faith power to prove that she was a Believer. But then the students in the crowd made up lies and shouted things that she never did.
Seeing this, I was pissed obviously; I planned on walking towards the front to defend my beloved sister. But Claudia saw this and decided to act independently. She suddenly creates and spouts a lot of magma from her body. This immediately creates chaos as everybody who felt the heat from the magma immediately tries to run as far away as possible from her.
Despite the chaos of the crowd running away from her, I tried to fight the crowd and walk forwards slowly against it. Claudia saw me with sad eyes, and she shook her head gently. I realized immediately what she meant, and it saddened my heart a lot. She creates a small platform of magma and hops onto it. Then she controls the magma platform to float, and then she flies away from the school. I kept my eyes on her as she flew away. I saw her sad and hurt expression from a distance. I shed a tear seeing her like this.
When I went home that day, I saw only my mom at home. I was confused and explained the situation to her. My mom was shocked and shed her tears. Claudia hasn't been home today. This made me worried about her a lot.
Where are you, sister? Why aren't you home? Please come home!
I've waited and waited, and she never came home. And then, when my dad came home, we told him about the situation, and he was saddened as well, but then, about an hour later, a few people from the school committee came to our house. They informed us that Claudia will be expelled from school for violating the school and city regulations. But then, as punishment, I was also to be expelled from school. My parents kept asking why, and they answered that I might be a Believer myself. I hate this injustice and prejudice against Believers. Just because of what a few bad apples did in the past, my sister now has to be grouped and treated the same as those. I hate this!
