  All of a sudden, Runelt disappeared from Evelyne's sight despite being a distance away from her.

  In the next blink of her eyes, Evelyne was suddenly punched on her right cheek from behind.

  She was sent flying towards the wall on the right side of the audience's seats. Her body crashed into the wall and fell towards the floor below.

  As Evelyne remains lying prone on the floor, she senses heat that grows hotter and hotter by the second. She looks to her front and sees a rotating wing made of golden flame spinning through the floor as if it's a buzzsaw coming towards her.

  Evelyne engulfs herself in her yellow lightning, and she disappears from her spot. The rotating golden fiery wing cuts through the wall of the room. The part of the wall that was cut was glowing and melting, showing a clear sign of being cut by something at a very high temperature.

  Evelyne immediately summons a purple sword in her left hand, and she thrusts the purple sword to stab Rena in her left leg.

  All of a sudden, there's a big talon made of golden flame that catches the purple sword and stops it in its tracks. Runelt suddenly and immediately appeared behind Evelyne again, already transforming his left hand into a burning golden phoenix talon.

  Runelt punches Evelyne right at the center of her chest, and she vomits a lot of blood on contact.

  "(Hm? Then what was that purple sword and purple wall that she erected? Alright, I don't get her Faith power, but at least it's an Elemental type. What a complicated Faith power. Thankfully, her output is awful, at least when compared to a Judge.)"

  Evelyne puts up her right hand above her head, making an L sign with her fingers. And then a massive blue thunderbolt came and struck her from above.

  "OVERDRIVE: BLUE!!"

  From Evelyne's entire body, blue lightning sparks violently. And then the sparks slowly died down, and then blue electric currents flowed from her back, forming the shape of tree branches that act as a pair of wings. Her wings are proportionate to Evelyne's bodily proportions. It spans a total of 2 meters in length from one end to the other. There are also blue electric currents flowing from the top of her head on two sides, with the same tree branch shape that acts as a pair of antlers, those of a deer.

  Runelt moves towards Rena's front, and he grows his pair of golden fiery wings from her back. He covers himself with his pair of wings to protect both him and Rena from the violent blue lightning strikes.

  Every time Runelt's wing got struck by lightning, it caused a small explosion on contact, but his phoenix's capability can easily withstand such small and harmless explosions.

  After a few seconds, the small explosions stop. Runelt opens his wings to see what Evelyne's next move is.

Runelt panicked, but not because he felt like he was in any danger, but because Rena was. He quickly covers both himself and Rena again in his wings, but this time, a lot tighter.

  The gigantic thunderbolt zaps everything that it touches.

  After a few seconds, the electricity dissipates little by little. Runelt slowly opens his wings.

  The first thing he noticed was that about 90% of the entire music venue was gone, and the rest of the building was fried and turned black and crisp; it felt like it would crumble if the wind breezes with a little bit more force than it currently is.

  Runelt also realizes that almost the entire stage is gone, leaving only a bit of the portion where he and Rena stand, left untouched.

  Runelt looked up and saw Evelyne flying really high in the sky.

  "THIS IS IT!! WITH THIS MUCH POWER I CAN DEFEAT THAT GUY!! HAHAHAHA!!"

  "THIS TIME I'LL ALSO KILL A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THE CITY AS WELL!! I'LL DEMONSTRATE MYSELF AND PROVE MYSELF WORTHY OF BEING A MEMBER OF THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS!!"

  The skies above were covered by a thick layer of thunderclouds that blocked the view of the moon and the stars. Thunder can be seen roaring from inside the thunderclouds, and its roar can be heard throughout the city.

  *GROOOOO*

  *ZRRAAARRR ZRAAARRR**

  Runelt flies to a nearby building and lands on the rooftop. There is a bench on the rooftop, and he places Rena's body on the bench. He rips a bit of his own clothes and uses them to act as DIY bandages to stop the bleeding from her stomach and her left shoulder. Then he crouches down and whispers to her.

The amount of electricity charging up in the thunderclouds above can easily strike and fry almost the entirety of the city in just one strike, judging from the visual in the sky alone.

  He grows his pair of golden, fiery wings on his back. His face turns serious, and he flies above towards Evelyne very fast.

  As he flies towards Evelyne, he clenches his fist, and his entire right forearm burns and transforms into that of a phoenix. Runelt punches forward and sends his phoenix flying very fast towards Evelyne.

  *FWOOOMMM*

  *BWOOOSSHH*

  Evelyne noticed the incoming phoenix. She raises her left hand forward. She smiles and snaps her fingers. And then a blue thunderbolt came down and struck the phoenix right on its body.

  The direct contact of the phoenix's fiery body and the blue thunderbolt results in a giant explosion in the sky. The explosion was big, but the sound it made was a lot louder than its size. It also creates a large smoke screen in the sky.

  "(Tch! Is this really his aim? Did he genuinely think this petty trick works on me? THAT'S AN INSULT TO ME ALRIGHT!!)"

  Evelyne gathers lightning on the thunderclouds above to launch another devastating strike on the city. The blue lightning sparks on her right fist spark even more violently than previously.

  Evelyne raises her right hand once more, and the thunder on the dark clouds above roars once more.

  "THIS TIME I'LL AIM TOWARDS THE BUILDING WHERE YOUR SISTER IS!!"

  Hearing this, Runelt moves immediately behind Evelyne. He transforms his right leg into a flaming golden talon and kicks Evelyne on her back.

  Evelyne was sent flying for a few seconds before she eventually recovered in midair.

  But then Runelt already appears diagonally above Evelyne, and he is upside down. Runelt transforms his right leg once again into his phoenix's golden, fiery talon and swings his kick down towards Evelyne's head.

  Evelyne reacts and puts up both of her arms into a cross to block the kick.

  Evelyne was sent flying downwards towards the city below, but she also pointed her finger upwards towards Runelt as she was falling.

  A big thunderbolt came down and struck Runelt, but he reacted fast and blocked the big thunderbolt with his left wing.

  The lightning bolt causes an explosion on contact with Runelt's fiery wing. Soon after, Runelt immediately flies down to chase after Evelyne.

  Evelyne has already recovered herself, but she disappeared from Runelt's view.

  In the distance, Runelt heard Evelyne shouting the name of her attack. And then all of a sudden, the sky went bright and five gigantic thunderbolts struck five different buildings in their entirety at five different random locations in the city.

  "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I CAN STILL ACHIEVE MY GOAL LIKE THIS!! I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT IT BECAUSE OF THAT STINKING BRAT!! THAT'S RIGHT!! I'LL SPREAD MY NAME AND INFLUENCE FIRST AND FOREMOST INTO THE WORLD!!"

  Runelt can clearly hear Evelyne, but he has no idea where she is. He looked down below to search for her, but he could not find her. He decided to use his Pride vision to look for her. But then, all of a sudden, she reappeared directly above Runelt.

  "HAHAHAHAHA!! I’M NOT AFRAID OF YOU!!"

  Evelyne puts her fists together and swings them down towards Runelt. Runelt reacts to her attack and dodges out of the way. He also noticed that the electric wings on her back have a different color now. It was yellow instead of blue.

  "This is OVERDRIVE: YELLOW!! Let me show you something interesting, JUDGE-SAN!!!"

  Evelyne moves towards Runelt, but she moves in such a bizarre way. She is zig-zagging through the air in a very quick manner that she leaves afterimages behind. And then she was already behind Runelt, and it only took her one entire second to move from her spot to where she is now.
