Thulathiun has become a land of Empire, its Age of Sail in full swing, where overwhelming powers conquer and colonize those whom they would exploit; and exterminate those whom they could not. But a nation can only rely on its own abuses for so long before the cracks start to show, and those under its jackboot realize that it is only when divided that they are as powerless as they have felt. Across the Abjadverse explores an alternative world, where our notions of sex, gender, and sexuality do not exist--a story that asks question about how axes of oppression form. It is a grand adventure that follows those who do not fit the oppressive molds created by Empire, and their struggle to free not just themselves--but the entire world--from their yoke. The world of the Abjadverse is, as the name suggests, loosely based on the concepts and tropes of the Omegaverse fandom, but approaching it from a fundamentally queer and subversive angle that tries to extract the so often cisnormative, and even heteronormative, tropes of the genre. Content Notes: This work explores mature themes like colonialism, cis/heterosexism, disability, neurodivergence, intersex individuals, among other themes of real oppression, even though it''''s a fantasy world. There will often be violence, and there may sometimes be sex. More specific warnings will accompany individual chapters. That said, there will be no non-con, no racist violence (though ethnic issues will be present), and no explicit violence against children.
