Irving hates the Vallah. She hates being a Valere and hates all of the things she had to do to get here (mostly). Yet, the time has come-- this twenty-eight year old woman has finally graduated and become a Valere...almost. To Irving, being a full Valere means coming out of The Ceremony with a gift from the Gods.
