Anomaly Codename: Fae Path

  Time of Discovery; 14:28 06-14-2029Task force deployed; Sierra 3Preliminary Information: "Frequent loss of direction when following old trail in the forest"Time of report; 00:03 06-15-2029Anomaly Location: Michigan14:28: TF-S3 made contact with the anomalous zone, when Unit 5 stepped into the zone and could be observed walking in a different direction away from our formation. When alerted of the change, Unit 5 behaved as if nothing had changed, and believed to still be in formation. Recovery of Unit 5 was simple, and the investigation commenced.

  14:36: TF-S3 began STPs on the anomaly to determine its nature. Unit 4 determined the anomaly to have an effect on the spatial continuity within, while Units 3 and 5 determined the anomaly to be a Zone-type, marking out a 4 kilometer area the anomaly affected. Units 6 & 4 entered the anomaly while connected to a rope on the outside, and after determining the effectiveness of electronic and radio communications (result; ineffective), they continued further into the anomaly. After reaching the edge of visual and audio range, Units 6 & 4 were recalled, and determined the cssification of the anomaly to be Ambient.

  16:04: After determining the nature of the anomaly, TF-S3 began to section off a 5 kilometer area around the anomaly using wire fence. Two civilians made contact with TF-S3 and were promptly ushered away. When questioned, S3 Units responded by informing them of a dangerous animal in the vacinity that was being contained.

  20:06: The perimeter around the anomaly is completed, and sufficient measures were taken to secure the area. Regional officials were contacted to re-route the forest trail, and TF-S3 remained on-site to observe the anomaly.

  23:50: After confirming the anomaly to be secured, TF-S3 was given the order to return to base. Anomaly was officially codenamed "Fae Path" during Sierra 3's station.
