  I'm not sure what I did. These last few days were like a dream. I just spun endlessly. I did feel the qi around me then, but since I came out of my trance this morning that feeling has been fading slowly. Usually the qi is just...gone, when I stop.

  It is still slipping away slowly and when I tried to focus on the qi it went away faster, but it's still there.

  The book said I would reach the second stage when I can feel qi at all times. So maybe I'm close?

  You're her son now. Since her grandfather is a cultivator you will probably know more about all of this than me by the time you read this letter.

  I'll just keep spinning. I'm just a girl that can barely write, not an educated scholar or wise old cultivator, so anything I could think of to explain what's happening would most likely just be either naive or completely wrong.
