After finishing his weapon, he stopped by Brock’s Rocks. When Jason entered, he noticed Brock talking to someone so he waited. After the customer left, Jason walked up and pulled out his new weapon.
“So whaddya think? Pretty Nice for a beginner, eh?” Brock’s surprise was briefly seen by Jason before he reigned it in.
“Wow, Kid! Nice sword! Don’t recognize the shape though. Nevermind that! I’m very impressed by it! I’ll definitely be bragging about you at the next crafter’s meeting!” Jason smiled and thanked him before leaving for bed, it had been a long day of crafting. That night after logging out, Jason put up some promotional posters on some of the crafting forums of the game as well as the discord of top crafters that he worked with. Basically, it said he was in Grafburg and if you gave him all the materials, input on what you wanted, and of course money, he would craft it for you. The next day, Jason had to choose what to work on next. His choices were Alchemy, Tailoring, or Enchanting. His choice was Tailoring as he knew they occasionally used leather which he could make himself. Jason quickly hopped on over to Roth’s Cloths. Throughout the week Jason worked on a multitude of skills. He learned how to forage the natural flax-like plant called “Fa-seed” and how to turn it into usable yarn and such, and of course how to make clothes with it. Jason also practiced his appraisal and transmutation skills. He can now make a Genesis Iron Ingot in 3 hours. He has also leveled up 3 times. It seemed that every 5 levels, he got a class level.
Jason decided to go with Tanner.
Jason chose the repair skill. Instead of gaining a new skill, it added 5 levels to his Repair skill.
On the last day of the week, a new feature was added. The leaderboards. There were leaderboards for anything Jason could think of. Jason actually showed up on 2 of them
Jason was bamboozled about how far ahead he was in the Crafting leaderboard. He now thought he was sure to get some crafting requests from players now. He also felt a small bit of pressure to uphold his top spot even though he didn’t really need to. During the week he had also bought a monthly pass to the nearby dungeon. He hadn’t gone in yet but now was a perfect time. For the rest of the night, Jacob leveled up his newly acquired sword skill. He also leveled up again
That night, Jason, after logging out, looked through the Crafting Forums. He enjoyed the posts about how it could be possible for him to be ahead. He knew the answer, he didn’t focus on a single skill, that was his secret. Jason was excited about all the crafting requests he was going to get. The next day he once again thought about his next options for crafting. He was down to 2 options. Alchemy, or Enchanting. He decided to go with Alchemy. He had no specific rationale for his decision, but it sounded more fun. Jason got ready and started towards Phocion’s Potions. After meeting with Phocion, he was tasked with collecting Peaceblooms, and Red Gusher Flowers.
After bringing the flowers back and learning how to create a Minor Health Potion from Phocion, Jason decided to experiment with transmutation on the flowers, but first, he tried a basic potion.
Jason was expecting a terrible result as his first potion, so he decided to do just as he did for his other crafting endeavors… grind. Using transmutation on the flowers had great results, it only took around 30 minutes each and he was rewarded with some very cool flowers.
After making these flowers, he was stopped by Phocion.
“Oh My! Are these what I think they are? My boy, where did you find these?!” Jason awkwardly responded with,
“In the… forest…” Phocion clearly didn’t believe him but didn’t press and left towards the back area. By the end of the week, Jason had leveled up 3 times, leveled up a bunch of skills, and made some pretty strong potions.
Jason chose to continue the pattern and chose Tailor
It once again added another 5 levels to his repair skill. On his bed, Jason went over his entire stats screen.
