Jason immediately chose the blacksmith class and was rewarded with more screens
Jason also had no hesitation choosing Repair Metal, as he would prefer to mine his own metal anyway. As he began to fall asleep he checked his full status
Over the course of the week, Jason had continued to grind his mining skills and blacksmithing skills, while also getting plenty of levels and stats. He had also experimented with his transmutation skill, getting 2 level-ups, yet not much had occurred. This was his stats after the week.

While mining Jason had also collected a sizable amount of some other, slightly rarer, metals such as silver, lead, tungsten, and some gold. He had kept it in a small bag of holding he had saved up for after all the repeated quests he did for Brock. After a good night’s rest, Jason decided to start working on his next profession. He had 5 options. Alchemy, Tailoring, Leatherworking, Enchanting, or Woodworking. After deliberating for a couple of minutes, he made up his mind and headed for Goode’s Woods. He opened the thick wooden door leading into the large hut-like building. Upon entering, Jason noticed a tall and large man circling a beautifully crafted wooden sculpture of a voluptuous woman. The man’s hands moved with such precision you would think the hands couldn’t belong to such a man. After coughing into his hand, the man noticed him.
“Ah! Hello there! I am Wilson Goode, the owner of this business! What can I do for you today?” His deep voice rumbled out. Jason replied,
“I was wondering if you could teach me how to craft with wood?” The man, now known to Jason as Wilson, grumbled slightly and said, “You're the 4th person to ask me in the last week! I don’t waste wood on newbies, if you want to learn how to work with wood, you’re gonna need to get your own. You can buy an ax at the general store. Also, take this.” He tossed a small pamphlet towards Jason who grabbed it from the air. Jason nodded and left towards the general store. On the way there, he read the pamphlet. It was about how to correctly cut down trees. After finishing the pamphlet, he got a message.

After getting over his surprise, he continues on his path. After getting his ax, as well as some directions to the woodcutting area, he was ready to cut down some trees. Jason cut trees until lunchtime.
After eating a meal in a nearby tavern, he returned to Goode’s Woods with his cut logs. As he arrived he heard a voice.
“Hey! You’re back. Is that the wood you cut? Looks okay I guess.” Wilson then motioned him around the store to the back area. He then began speaking again.
“You’ll start by watching me turn a log into planks, then turn planks into weapon handles. Then you will do the same. Got it?” Jason did get it and began intently watching. After the demonstration, he got a notification.
Jason nodded and began working. He quickly lost track of time. After he was done he noticed 3 things, first Wilson was smirking at him, second, it was nighttime, and third, his woodworking was level 4. He has also noticed he had gained a level in woodcutting while turning logs into planks, apparently that fit under woodcutting and woodworking. As he was thinking of these things, Wilson began to speak.
“The handles don’t look half bad. I had heard about you from Brock, but I wasn’t expecting such explosive growth, the last handle you made is 100 times better than the first! If these get a little better, I may even take them off your hands for some cash and I'll let you continue using my workshop. Either way, it’s getting late, so you should sleep.” Before leaving, Jason tried to use transmutation of his leftover log, he did notice a small change but nothing too drastic. This did give him another level up in it though.
After this experimentation, he retired to his inn room and logged out. The next morning, he went straight to the logging area to cut some more oaks down. After some cutting and 2 levels
He was ready for a day filled with woodworking. He brought the wood down to the shop and noticed Wilson behind the counter.
“Hey, Wilson! You were talking about making you some handles?” Wilson nodded.
“Ya, I’m thinking maybe 30? And maybe 5 basic oak chairs while you're at it. You think you can finish that by 4?” Jason excitedly nodded as a popup appeared.
Jason excitedly nodded and began crafting. After 7 poor handles, and 3 chairs that were poor, and leveling up his woodworking skill to 6, he had his first success.
Besides failing to create a common chair once more, he successfully completed the quest. This leveled him up to level 10.
Jason chose to go with the theme and chose Carpenter. Another pop-up appeared.
Jason decided to go with the repair skill, just as he did with metal. Immediately a third pop-up appeared.
