Hey everyone! I know it's been a while, but I just wanted to reach out to anyone who was still following the story hoping for an update.
First off, I am not abandoning this story. Like one commenter warned me about when I first announced the hiatus, I got totally bogged down with rewriting and revising until I got all twisted up and frustrated. Plus, several of you had very justifiable concerns about different aspects of the story which I struggled to address it's original form.
I'm a little stumped to be honest. I have a few different directions this story could potentially go, but I was wondering what you guys thought. Ultimately this story is for all of you, and I apologize for being such an unreliable author. So, let me lay out the options for you:
1) The story continues on in a similar vein as it already has, but stripped of the isekai element (as well as the gender bender aspect of the story). Alvanue is a bit of a childish princess who runs away from home in search of adventure. Fun, fluffy slice-of-life-ish fantasy with plenty of basic world building. *not my preferred storyline.
This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
2) The story shifts slightly, most of the world building remains intact. In this alternate plot, Alvanue is a half-elf being raised in a human village in Endrillond. She is the daughter of a human and Githanduin, king of the dusk elves. Slightly angsty with a sort of cultivation progression.
3) The story shifts dramatically, with several major aspects of the world being altered or straight up removed. The protagonist is a transmigrator who wakes up in the body of Alvanue/Alvos (Female or Male) in a dead land where the dusk elves have fallen to a dark and alien enemy. Heavy on action, isekai shennanigans and progression through conflict.
For anyone reading this, thanks for sticking with the story. It means a lot :).
