Despair, a poem duel entry

  Wings fluttering from above

The loud sound of descent loves

The sound of something falling down

A hearths fire can be heard around

  O home, its burning

  The ground, its churning

  Everything has gone awry

The day is dark and in the night

  Nothing is in sight

The fire is bright as the moon comes down

Hours later in this saddened town

  Drifting the clouds fall down

A sad fog for missery svound

We drift on seas and on our knees

The plates shifting as they please

The world may be of make believe

But its no dresm for you and me

Smokes and mirrors as gods play

  Our lives suddenly go awry

The barren shade is dark as night

The twisting sky is all alight

  Here comes our impending doom

A death comes like a great typhoon

There are no sobs in this land

Death has been accepted for too long at hand

Don't cry children for you've dispaired

Don't look up, no hope is there

Poverty and starvation are the least of your troubles

Your childhood home is now in rubble

Oh wretched life given by gods

Or have theg abandoned us at all ods

Do they look brightly upon thee

  Can you really even see

The teared knife and rusty blade

No place here for the naive

The sealed secrets of this relm

The hero has fallen and their helm

The heros head is on the ground

The demon king won and the world drowns

In its own tears as it resounds

The silence from despair that now drowns

  Oh hark a spark

  The spark of hope!

  Bright and red

  It forsoke

  The land and withered away

No brightness can last in this darkest day

The ground is parched with fire grim

Rhe world is cold with a corruption of sin

The blood has dried and here it brings

  Bleeding hearts and sadened things
