Set a few years before the main story

  Leini was on a little personal break from her duties as Dean of Imperia Academy. Electing to take up a small vacation in the Kingdom of Corneia which was located on the easternmost part of the continent of Kani. She had booked a two-week stay at a beachside resort known as the "White Sands Resort" which she had heard was a pretty good pce that had an amazingly clean beach with white sand accompanied by a beautiful view of the azure blue Pinara Sea which the kingdom bordered.

  She arrived at the resort after teleporting from her office, with a duffle bag design from her old world slung over her shoulder and her wearing an outfit that completely surprised the staff and the other guests who were lining up to check into the resort. She sported a pair of beige shorts that hugged her curvaceous and plump thighs and rge butt well, revealing her long and slender legs, she also wore a beige see-through shirt that revealed a bck bikini top that covered her rge well-endowed breasts, she also had a straw hat resting in a slightly crooked backward position on her head while the rest of her jet-bck hair cascaded down her back. She also wore a pair of open-toe slippers without heels as she was already tall at 6ft 4 and she didn't need to add any more height to her already tall build.

  As she strode into the lobby of the resort, she could feel and even saw from the corner of her eyes, people of different races all looking at her as she walked by and made her way to the counter to check-in.

  "Good morning, I would like to check in for my room reservation please" Leini stated as she looked down at the young wolf beastkin woman manning the counter

  "Hi...wow...I mean, Hi! yes of course! May I know your name please!" The young girl said as she bowed her head to try and hide the blushing that was occurring on her cheeks

  "Augusta, that is the name I used for the reservation" Leini answered her, a small smile pying on her lips as she was amused by the young girl's embarrassment

  "Uhh...Ah! Miss Augusta, you have reserved the Ptinum Suite on the top floor for the next two weeks, is that correct" The young girl stated as she looked through the folder containing the reservation information

  "Yes that is correct" Leini replied with a nod

  "Ok ok, here is the key for the suite and a magic crystal for you to ring in case you need our services, the suite is on the top floor of the building to the right next to this one we are in" The young girl said as she handed over a pair of keys and a red crystal to Leini who pced it inside her Item Box immediately

  "Thank you very much" Leini replied with a nod

  "And thank you Miss for choosing us for your stay here! I am Ena and if you need any help you can just ask me!" Ena stated with a smile as she looked up at her

  "Alrighty then, thank you Ena" The Dean replied with a smile of her own before she began making her way out of the lobby

  Making her way to the resort building where her suite was located, Leini passed through a stone pathway that branched off to the left that led right to the beach which already had some people pying on the white beaches and swimming in the cool blue ocean. She passed by some noble girls as she made her way up the building to the suite, hearing their shocked gasps as she passed them by without even gncing their way. There was also a group of boys from the nearby Royal Corneia Academy who were left sck-jawed as she passed them, there was even a married couple that exited their room, only for the husband to blurt out "Damn" as she passed them, with the wife nodding while watching Leini walk past before spping her husband in the back of the head.

  Once she reached the floor of the building, she noticed that out of the entire floor, there was only one door and once she opened it, she was greeted by the sight of a massive room waiting for her inside. There were some magic crystals being used to send cold air throughout the room and there was a rge queen-sized bed on one side with a dining table on the other and a small kitchen with an isnd, there were a couple of cabinets and shelves around the pce and some artistic furniture and some artwork on the walls to complement the white painted walls and the grey hardwood floor.

  "Damn, this is great" Leini muttered as she moved towards the bed, letting her duffle bag hit the floor and slipping out of her hat and slippers as she id down on the soft mattress, letting out a purr as she sank into its comfortable embrace.

  Suddenly, there was the sound of someone trying to open the door by twisting the nob, after a few moments of that, then there was a set of knocks on the door while Leini was busy unpacking her stuff.

  "Hmm? I didn't ring anyone" She mumbled as she stood up from the bed and slipped back into her slippers before opening the door

  Standing outside her suite was an adventurer's party, something she surmised as they were all wearing typical adventurer-esq gear, with one of them was wearing pte armor while the rest were wearing light leather and light chainmail armor, they even had their weapons holstered at their sides and at their back. They looked in surprise as their eyes id upon Leini who towered over them, holding the door slightly open as she looked at who was knocking on the door.

  "Can I help you?" Leini asked as she looked at them

  "Hey dy why-"

  "EXcuse my friend miss but may I ask what you are doing in our room?" The young mage girl with short amber hair and green eyes asked as she grabbed the cheeks of the young boy who was talking before her

  "Hmm? Your room? I believe you are mistaken, this is the Ptinum Suite, I have it booked for today and the next two weeks" Leini answered them, seeing the confusion on their faces as the group of five looked at one another

  "Uhhh...this is the Ptinum Suite?" The young mage girl asked again

  "Mhmm, this is" The Dean answered her

  "I see, so this is not our building then...we reserved the Gold Suite...oh...we are so sorry for the interruption miss" The young girl stated as she bowed her head, with the rest of the party quickly following after

  "It's fine, no need to apologize, thank you and goodbye" Leini said as she gave a small nod and then closed the door, hearing their footsteps scamper away and down the stairs

  "Alright, with that done, let's head down to the beach" She stated with a smile as she removed her shorts, grabbed some stuff from the duffle bag, pced them inside her item box and then headed out

  A few minutes ter and following the same stone path, she arrived at the beach as the sun was high in the sky, Leini strode along the beach as she looked for a single spot where she could stay and enjoy herself.

  As she strode along the beach, she could feel the gazes of numerous people looking at her and her voluptuous, curvaceous and well-endowed form as she walked passed them.

  "HH!" She excimed as she found a spot right smack in the middle along the beach that had an equal distance between the resort and the ocean

  She quickly brought out and pced down a bnket on the ground and then pulled out an umbrel from her item box and plunged it into the sand beside the bnket. She fshed a small smile as she then pced some sunblock on herself using her magic and then let out a good sigh as she id down on the bnket face up and settled in for some good rexation.

  But as she was getting comfortable, she heard the sounds of fighting and shouting, turning her head to the right, she saw the adventurer's party from earlier sparring with one another in a free-for-all brawl in beach clothing. They were shouting and having fun with one another, using only their weapons and skill but no magic out of fear that they may hit the other people on the beach enjoying themselves. Leini shrugged as they were doing their own thing and it was not really bothering her, preparing herself to go back to sleep, she was interrupted once again by the sounds of a group of girls suddenly stopping next to her, with one of them kicking sand onto her body.

  "Ok, what is it now?" She asked as she stood up and looked at the group of teenage girls who looked to be from the Royal Corneia Academy near the resort as they were wearing their trademark swimwear

  "You better leave outsider!" The leader of the girls, a kitsune stated as she looked up at her, trying to keep her composure as Leini looked down at her, sending a shiver down the spines of all the girls before her

  "It's because of you that the boys aren't paying attention to us!" The kitsune girl stated with a flushed red face, Leini looked around and seeing the group of boys from earlier hiding behind a bush next to the entrance resort

  "I missed the part where that's my problem" Leini replied to her, her voice and tone booming in their minds and creating an image that saw them looking up at a shadowy colossus who was angry at them for disturbing her rexation

  "I...I...I..." The kitsune girl tried to speak but was reduced to tears as she began to cry, the other girls in the group all tried to comfort her, the sad sight made Leini sigh as she snapped her fingers and brought herself and the group of girls back to her suite in an instant, leaving her stuff on the beach for ter

  Understandably, the girls were all scared as they soon found themselves off the beach and in a massive room, with Leini standing before them, her annoyed gaze sending shivers down the spines of the girls who were now huddled together, with all of them trying to pce themselves before their kitsune leader.

  "Move" Leini ordered as she walked closer, crouching down to the height of the kitsune teenager and then manifesting a tissue she used to wipe away her tears, with the kitsune being surprised and scared at first but allowed the woman before her to continue

  "Are you good now?" Leini asked her, with the young kitsune girl nodding, not raising her eyes up to meet the woman who had wiped her tears away

  "Hmmm, I am sorry for making you cry...miss?"

  "Ania...Ania is my name" The kitsune girl replied to her

  "Ok then, Ania. I am here on vacation and I do not want people to bother me, do you think that I would come out here to be ogled by young boys who are barely out of their teenage years?" Leini asked her with a serious tone

  "N...no" Ania replied, gncing up at Leini

  "Right, so do not go bming me for those boys being little creeps. If they do not pay attention to you, it is not the end of the world, understand?" The Dean added as looked the kitsune teenager in the eye

  "Yes...I understand" Ania said as she recomposed herself

  "Good. Now when we go back there, leave me alone. Got it, all of you?" Leini added as she looked at the group of girls, with all of them nodding in reply

  With another snap of her fingers, Leini and the group of girls reappeared back on the beach and the girls quickly left Leini to her own devices as she had told them too, dragging the young boys from the bushes and back to the resort. With that situation sorted out, Leini decided not to go back down on the bnket and instead began making her way towards the ocean, leaving her slippers behind first of course to not get them wet, storing away her gsses for the same reason.

  As she stood at the edge of the beach, she could see the tide rushing in and out, just barely reaching her feet. The calming sounds of the tide coming and going brought a smile to her face, she closed her eyes as she took a step forward into the cool water of the Pinara Sea and had a small chuckle as it had been a while since she had felt something like this. Opening her eyes and continuing on, she dived into the water and swam a few meters before stopping and trying to stand back up, with the water reaching her chest from where she was now in the water. Seeing that she was at the farthest reach of the beach and that no one was around her, She let out a happy sigh as she basked in the warm glow of the sun beaming down on her but suddenly felt a weird disturbance and felt that there was something amiss.

  Suddenly, she felt something wrap around her foot and felt it tug at her to try and drag her away. An annoyed expression fshed on her face as she looked down through the water to see what the hell was pulling against her.

  "Oh you have to be fucking kidding me" She muttered angrily as she saw a rge dark purple tentacle wrapped around her leg below the knee

  It kept trying to tug on her, trying with all its might to pull her away from sight and possibly kill her. She rolled her eyes as she grabbed the tentacle with her right hand and easily pulled a massive octopus that was part of the "Kraken" subspecies of the race. It was resting further away in the deeper sands far from where she was. The Kraken was now just before her and its gold and bck eyes were looking at Leini who was looking at the damn thing with a furious expression and a sharp gaze that darkened, sending fear all over its body as it unwrapped its tentacle from Leini's leg and tried to get the fuck away from its initial prey.

  "Where the fuck do you think you're going?!" Leini roared as she was able to grab the tentacle before it escaped from her grasp

  The Kraken began screaming for its life as it tried to detach its arm but found that it could not, its mind baffled as to why it's own biology was not working.

  "You are not escaping that fucking easily!" Leini shouted as she turned and then tossed the Kraken into the air, the beast screaming violently as it was sent flying

  Leini then whipped her arm around and conjured up a crimson bolt of lightning in her hand before discharging the massive bolt of electricity and arcane might that struck true and turned the Kraken to ash, with the sight of the sudden flying Kraken and the loud fsh of red and the roar of thunder scaring the living hell out of everyone near the resort who were all caught off guard by the brief sight.

  After dispatching this annoyance, Leini swam back to shore, drying herself off with her magic and seeing a bunch of people standing at the entrance to the resort looking at her as she arrived with mixed expressions and curious gazes.

  She was about to say something to them when a massive sea serpent with bluish-gray scales and golden accents burst forth from the water far offshore, letting out a high-pitched roar as it procimed its arrival, it was attracted to the sounds of a free kill in the form of the distressed Kraken but suddenly found no Kraken in sight which angered it, shifting its gaze to the shoreline where it saw people standing upon it. The sea serpent let out a continuous roar as it rushed towards the shoreline, the adventurer's party from earlier pced themselves at the forefront to protect the families and children running into the resort to hide from the massive monster approaching them.

  Leini, already annoyed with the encounter with the Kraken, was not going to let this damn thing interrupt her peace and quiet. She shifted her stance and then pnted her foot down and created a little but intense shockwave that passed the adventurer's party and struck the beast, interrupting its charge and causing it to flinch and scan the beach for who fired off that attack. Its eyes scanned the shoreline and it spared a gnce at the adventurer's party it believed to be an annoyance, it let out an angered snort as they clearly were not the ones who hit it. It then shifted its sight to a woman behind the adventurer's party, the woman had a fierce gaze upon her which was also intense. The sea serpent suddenly felt a cold chill fall down its spine and its survivability senses began to fire off and warn it of imminent danger if it continued on its course.

  [Try me. See what happens] Leini told it through telepathy, with the sea serpent flinching and whimpering as it felt immense fear all throughout its body, its eyes unable to shift away from the woman it was looking at.

  The sea serpent recoiled and whimpered as it backed away, letting out a small and defeated scared cry as it dived back into the water and swam away, leaving everyone except Leini confused on the beach.

  "Yeah that's what I fucking thought" Leini replied with a small smirk before finally resting on the bnket she had set up earlier

  Regardless to say, the rest of the trip was uneventful but immensely rexing.
