Leaving the room lies a door that is close by on their right. The party goes into the room. Stepping inside shows nothing much except that there is another evocation symbol that lies in the center of the room.

  "An evocation symbol..." Mizuki said and asked. "Isn't that the same symbol we saw back in the throne room?"

  "Looks like it." Shokei tells her. "For some reason, this is the exact symbol that we've seen before."

  "Strange...I'm sure it resembles those spheres that we saw at that temple we were in Shokei." Rei said.

  "It is." Shokei said.

  "Then again, why is it glowing?" Sadako asked.

  Shokei looks carefully at the evocation, along with her party.

  "Could this be linked to somewhere?" Obsidian asked.

  "Who knows? It might be a mystery." Mizuki replied.

  The evocation symbol lies there with a soft surrounding aura. The party can see the evocation as it does not appear to be doing anything.

  "We can't waste time here." Shokei said to her party. "Let's move."

  The party continues onward by heading to the door. Leaving the room, the party continues to navigate onward through a long passageway. Luckily, there was no traps in sight to slow the party down. Shokei continues further until she comes across another door.

  Entering the room, Shokei and her party walks inside. The area they walk in appears to be a wide hallway.

  "What is this pce?" Shokei asked.

  "No idea." Mizuki replied. "We need to be cautious if we're going to get through here."

  Rei walks with her party. Then, she notices something by her distance. From there, Rei sees a mysterious silver aura swirling around in the room.

  "W-what's that?" Rei pointed out.

  "Huh?" Shokei turns to see Rei.

  "Whatever you do, step back." Rei tells her.

  The party looks to see the aura at a distance, and they came to a halt. A source of magic is used around the aura.

  "Could this be the work of the evocation symbols?" Mizuki asked.

  "I have a grim feeling about this." Toyama said. "Prepare yourselves."

  Just then, the party looks to see that a monster is making its appearance. The monster's form appears to be big in size and its shape is the size of a dragon. This dragon turns out to be a Wyrmling Silver Dragon.

  "What the hell is that?" Saeko asked.

  Shokei and her party looks up at the big dragon that appears in the room. The dragon has an elegant body with thin limbs and two digits on each foot, which is end is very short, sharp cws. The wing of the dragon is frill-like, running from its shoulders to its hips. The dragon has a small mouth, tiny, frilled ears, and has a pronounced overbite with round nostrils. The dragon gave out a roaring sound as the party gets their weapons out again.

  "You're kidding me, right?" Lei asked.

  "No turning back. We must kill this beast." Shokei said, getting her Mithrodin ready.

  "Let's do this!" Rei said.

  The party begins to fight against the Silver Dragon. Obsidian and Ferron made their first move towards the dragon. The dragon, however, spews out something from its mouth as they can see that the dragon is breathing out cold air against them. The two dodged out of the way as everyone else avoided the attack. This attack made the floor frozen into an ice sheet.

  Shokei grips her Mithrodin sword and targets the dragon. The Silver Dragon turns to see Shokei coming and then breathes out a strange gas.

  "Ahh!!" Shokei gets caught in the gas and instantly feels her body going numb.

  "Shokei!" Mizuki calls out to her.

  Obsidian and Ferron charges at the Silver Dragon again and made their first hits towards the body. The monster was caught off guard as it feels the thrusts done on the side. Mizuki comes over to Shokei's aid where she sees her leader kneeling down and not able to break free from the gas.

  The Silver Dragon counters against Obsidian and Ferron by using its cws. Toyama gets his weapon ready as he makes the effort to charge after the dragon. However, he forgot that the icy sheet was still in effect, and he accidentally slipped on the floor. The Silver Dragon turns to where Shokei is getting treatment by Mizuki as she aids her with a potion. The monster sees the opportunity to attack and breathes out another bst of ice breath. Shokei looks up to see that the dragon is about to hit her again with its ice breath, along with Mizuki by her side.

  "Uh-uo!" Shokei panicked.

  Quickly, Lei rushes in time to save Shokei and Mizuki with a protective force field and shields them from the enemy's attack. The ice breath fizzles as it does no harm.

  "Whew! That was close." Mizuki said.

  "Thanks Lei." Shokei tells her.

  "I owe you one." Lei tells her.

  As Lei protects her allies, Rei rushes up to the dragon and charges for an attack. The Silver Dragon sees her coming and was about to use its ice breath. The monster cries out in pain as it received damage through Toyama with a strike against the body. Rei generates lighting from her fists and gives the monster an Assault Punching Bolt directly at the stomach. The attack made a piercing blow to the body of the dragon and due to the effects of the lighting, the monster cries out loudly as it felt the sudden shockwaves affecting its body.

  "Woah!" Shokei said, seeing the outcome of the fight.

  "Ha! This dragon dislikes lighting!" Rei said.

  "Really? If that's the case..." Sadako generates magic and then she casts out. "Electrical Barrage!"

  Sadako's lighting spell was put into full use. Waves of lighting shoots out in traces and the Silver Dragon became struck with electricity. The powerful spell gave the monster big damage, and it made the dragon suffered a lot from this attack.

  "That should do it!" Sadako said.

  Shokei finally recovers from being paralyzed from the dragon's breath. Thanks to the potion Mizuki gave her, she is standing up once again. Gripping her Mithrodin sword in hand, Shokei charges after the enemy. Mizuki sees the Silver Dragon trying to recover from being struck by the powerful lighting attacks and makes her move.

  "Mystic Quake!" Mizuki chanted.

  The Silver Dragon, paralyzed from the effects by the lighting, feels the ground shaking beneath its feet. The monster is not able to fly as it felt pulled from the ground and the earthquake sucks into the monster's body with the terrain piercing through its body. The Silver Dragon is trapped in the earthquake and its body is stuck in the ground. Shokei sees the advantage and then Rei can see what she was about to do.

  "Give me a boost!" Shokei tells her.

  Rei did as she lifts up Shokei by the leg. Shokei leaps into the air and pointing her sword out, she targets the head of the Silver Dragon. In a thrusting move, the sword found its way to the skull. Shokei holds on as the Silver Dragon cries out in pain after feeling the sword striking above the head. Shokei clings onto the monster's head as she keeps the sword in pce. Within seconds, the Silver Dragon could not fight the intense pain as it slowly stops moving. The head of the dragon falls to the floor. Shokei sees that she was about to fall, and she takes her sword out to roll down on the ground. The Silver Dragon touches the ground and there, it lies dead after a severe blow to the head.

  Shokei gets up and checks to see the condition of the Silver Dragon. The monster has been killed and the party checks to see the corpse of the dragon dead in sight.

  "Yaaay! We did it!" Lei said happily.

  "Finally..." Shokei said.

  The party cans see that the Silver Dragon has taken its toll in defeat. Soon, the dragon lies there and then it disintegrated into dust. The corpse then disappears into the atmosphere.

  "Damn." Shokei said and asked. "This vile dragon was made out of magic?"

  "Hmm." Toyama responded. "This could be the work of magic within this sanctuary."

  "This is no ordinary sanctuary." Mizuki said. "This is more of a trap-like pce for travelers."

  "Then this pce seems to know what we are aftering." Toyama said.

  "Looks like it." Shokei said. "The situation is taken care of. We have to keep going."

  The party continues onward for the next door.

  Leaving the room, the party can see that there is a door that is close by on the right. The party walks inside the room and there, the room appears to be empty except for a treasure box.

  "A treasure box..." Lei asked. "I wonder what's inside?"

  "You think it could be a trap?" Rei asked.

  "We cannot be sure...but it's worth the risk." Shokei said.

  Shokei approaches the treasure box. She opens the box to see what was inside.

  "Huh?" Shokei takes out the item inside the box. "It's a note."

  "What does it say?" Rei asked her.

  "Hmm, to break the seal of the importance you seek, destroy the source of the sphere to make ends meet." Shokei reads the note.

  "Perhaps we should backtrack to see if there's a sphere located anywhere." Rei said. "I know, let's revisit that throne room! I bet we can search the sphere there."

  "Sure!" Shokei said.

  The party heads for the door and then they continued their way through the maze passageway. Shokei finds a door and opens it. There she finds her way back to the throne room with the gong inside. Shokei rechecks the cat throne and checks the seat. The evocation symbol is not giving off any glow.

  "The glowing effect on this throne...it's not there anymore." Shokei said.

  "What does that mean?" Sadako asked. "Did we do something to stop it?"

  "Maybe...it could be a connection to that monster we fought a while back." Rei said.

  "We should head back to another room that has this exact symbol." Mizuki said. "It could be there."

  "Good idea. Let's hurry." Shokei said.

  Shokei and her party heads back to one of the rooms that they were previously in. Upon heading back, Shokei can see that there is a sphere that is shining with a green glow.

  "Over there!" Shokei said.

  "I think taking care of that Silver Dragon might lead to the connection to that throne with the evocation symbol." Mizuki said.

  "This is too familiar." Rei said. "I guess we have to destroy that sphere and we'll be back to the entrance."

  "Are you sure?" Toyama asked. "You think we'll encounter anything dangerous?"

  "Probably." Shokei said. "We just need to destroy this sphere as soon as possible."

  Seeing that the coast is clear, the party gets close to the glowing sphere. Together, they all work together to break the sphere. The sphere is not simple to break as it requires much strength to destroy it. While the party works together into destroying the sphere, Sadako hears a sound.

  "Huh?! What was that?!" Sadako asked, becoming alert.

  Just then, Shokei and her party can hear hissing noises. They look up in the ceiling to see that there are medium sized vermin spiders crawling above. The spiders fall down from the ceiling and touch on the floor with their feet. The party is surrounded by the vicious spiders.

  "Ewww!!" Lei felt disguised and sees the spiders.

  "Shit!" Shokei said, seeing the spiders in her view. "Obsidian, Ferron, Sadako, shake these spiders away from us! We'll continue to destroy this sphere."

  "Got it!" Obsidian said.

  As one half of the party members deal with the spiders, Shokei, along with Mizuki, Rei, Toyama, and Lei are continuing to destroy that sphere. The party are working in teams as one team is fending off the spiders and the other team is working hard on destroying the sphere.

  Obsidian, Ferron, and Sadako fought hard in fending off the spiders and preventing Shokei and her party getting hurt. Shokei and her team is making progress in destroying the sphere quickly as possible. The shattering process of the sphere is halfway.

  "Shokei! I cannot hold these spiders off much longer!" Ferron said, trying to withstand the spiders.

  "There's too many of them!" Sadako said as she uses her fire magic to use.

  Shokei sshes her way as she is giving the st cuts on the sphere. When the sphere has been shattered, the spiders stop moving and then they all colpsed on the ground. As soon as the spiders are gone, the party looks around to see if there were any portal that would appear in the room. There is no sign of any portal.

  "Huh? Where's the portal?" Rei asked, looking around.

  "Wait a minute..." Shokei thinks and then recalled something. "Say, follow me everyone."

  The party follows Shokei and they all make their way back into the throne room. When they returned, a portal now appears in front of the throne.

  "All right! So that's what triggers it." Lei said.

  "We can finally escape this pce." Shokei said.

  With the portal in pce, the party escapes the area one by one as they made their way out of there and returned back to the lobby entrance.

  From exiting through the portal, the party has returned back to the lobby. Once everyone has regrouped, Shokei checks the seal of the door. By breaking the sphere, the barrier of the door in the middle is losing its energy. However, the party cannot go through the entrance.

  "We took care of one sphere." Shokei said. "Now we have to destroy the other one."

  "Right. Let's hurry to the other side." Rei said.

  The party makes their way through the door on the right. There, they see another elevator mechanic. Shokei presses the button in the center. The party descended to the next section of the sanctuary.

  Once the elevator has reached its destination, Shokei and her party goes through the entrance and then they navigate through the passageway until they find a clear opening. The dungeon walls that they see are reinforced masonry and the ground is all sand. The party can feel the coldness that is around the atmosphere. Shokei looks ahead and see that the area has a shadowy illumination.

  "Brrrrrr..." Lei said, feeling the chilly temperate, and asked, "Why is it so FREAKING cold in here?!"

  "Is it just me or this pce is...strange?" Sadako asked.

  "Grrrr, it's too cold here." Toyama said.

  "I hate being cold here. And this sanctuary is stranded in a desert where its hot? Nothing makes sense no more!" Lei compined.

  "Can it you!" Rei tells her. "I know it's cold here, but do we have any choice in exploring around here?"

  "I...guess not...brrrr!!" Lei said, rubbing her arms.

  "Hmm?" Shokei looks ahead and points out. "There's a door here. We can escape this area."

  "P-please d-do!" Lei tells Shokei. "It's freezing!!"

  Shokei and her party approaches the door to open it. Unfortunately...

  "It's locked." Shokei said.

  "You're joking right?!" Lei asked, not pleased with the situation.

  "No." Shokei replied. "This door appears to be locked and not sealed."

  "Then we need a key to get through here." Mizuki said.

  "A key? Great, then how do we..." Lei tries to compin further but paused.

  "Wait! I hear something." Sadako said to her party.

  Just then, the party can sense that there is a strange movement that is coming underneath the sand. Emerging from the sands appeared a rge humanoid in a form of a giant rat. The monster has a strong talon and razor-sharp teeth, capable to shred a prey to pieces. The rat humanoid monster is carrying two swords, which is a rapier and a cutss. The weapons appeared to be jagged and raw edged. The Wererat monster holds something on its neck which is the key that it holds.

  "Oh noes!" Sadako said. "It's a rat creature shaped like a human."

  "Disgusting!" Lei said.

  "Looks like this wild beast holds the key to this room." Ferron said, taking out his gss bde.

  "We'll have to kill it to cim that key from this hideous thing." Shokei said, taking her sword out. "C'mon!"

  The csh against the Wererat humanoid begins as Ferron makes the initial strike towards the monster. The monster strikes back, swinging its two swords against him. Ferron takes cover as the enemy's attack missed its target. Shokei makes her move with her Mithrodin and her sword made connections with the enemy's swords. The Wererat exchange swings as it tries to attack Shokei by striking her with its swords. Shokei defends herself against the monster's sword wielding skills as she finds it impossible to take the enemy down. The monster takes advantage in the fight while going for broke against its target.

  "This is insane!" Shokei said, guarding herself with defense. "I can't shake off of this vile being!"

  "I got you Shokei!" Sadako said and she used her spell against the monster. "Fire Lance!"

  Sadako's spell was put into action. However, the spell dies out when it was about to nail its target.

  "What?!" Sadako said in shock. "My spell. It fizzled out on me."

  "That's no good." Mizuki tells her. "This area here could be the cause of all this."

  "You mean this cold surrounding?" Sadako asked.

  "Yes. The cold atmosphere is the problem here." Mizuki replied. "Your magic won't be of good use here."

  "No way!" Sadako asked, feeling a bit of panicking. "What do we do now?!"

  "We'll have to find another way to sy this creature one way or another." Mizuki said. "And we'll have to be on point."

  Shokei was able to get out of harm's way from the Wererat's swords. Rei, Obsidian, and Ferron backed her up as they are working together to fighting the humanoid monster. The monster viciously wields its swords and continues to take advantage of the fight. The party backs up in defense as it gets out of the way. Shokei can see that the situation is getting worse as she is figuring out a way to defeat the Wererat.

  "Hey Shokei." Lei said to her.

  Shokei turns to see Lei speaking to her.

  "Sadako's magic won't do good here, right?" Lei asked.

  "Yeah." Shokei replied. "Why?"

  "Your sword..." Lei points it out to her.

  "What about it?" Shokei asked her.

  "Here! Let me add something on it." Lei said.

  "Huh?"

  Shokei sees Lei touching her Mithrodin sword. Then, using her hand, she creates magic and ignites the sword on fire. Shokei sees the magical effect being used on her weapon as an add on. The sword now has a fire element in the mix.

  "Woah!" Shokei said, feeling her sword wrapped in fire.

  "Hurry!" Lei tells her. "You must kill this beast now! Its only for a limited time!"

  "Got it! And thanks!" Shokei tells her.

  With her Mithrodin sword fused with fire, Shokei grips the sword and goes after the Wererat monster. With her sword in fmes, the humanoid monster turns to see the enemy coming and gets ready to fight her. Shokei cshes at the Wererat and the sword bursts into fmes, penetrating through the enemy's defense.

  "Wow! Since when Shokei learns how to use her sword like that?!" Rei asked, watching her friend wielding her sword on fire.

  "How...how is this possible?!" Sadako asked. "I thought magic was no good in this room."

  "That may be true..." Lei said to her. "But I infused her sword with fire, so she should be able to take down this foul being in no time."

  Rei sees Shokei wielding her infused sword against the Wererat.

  "I don't know, but she's kicking ass!" Rei said, amused.

  Shokei damages the Wererat with her fmed-infused sword. The monster is dealt and covered in fmes and became overpowered through the strength of the blonde-haired warrior. Shokei rips through the enemy as she sshes her way through, cutting through the enemy's body. The fire touched the skin of the monster as it receives burns on its body. Shokei can feel the burning sensation coming through her sword and then, she feels the flow of her sword giving her strength. The fme infused on her sword grew in size as she is ready to finish the Wererat off.

  "Style Execution!!"

  The Mithrodin sword builds up energy as the infused fmes drive Shokei into an assault drive towards the enemy. Her sword rips the Wererat apart as the fmes engulfed the enemy. The monster was killed immediately on the spot as soon as Shokei swung her sword down. The Wererat humanoid has been defeated. The fire on Shokei's sword faded out once the monster has been destroyed completely.

  "Wow..." Obsidian said with a surprised look on his face.

  "The fme of the sword is gone." Ferron said and asked. "How...how did you get such power?"

  "Actually, it was through me." Lei tells the party. "I gave Shokei a boost by infusing her sword through my magic."

  "I see." Ferron said.

  "I still find it puzzling on why my magic didn't work in here." Sadako said.

  "It could be the room that we are in." Lei tells her. "Your magic is not strong enough to fight through the current within this area. My psychic powers were capable of helping out the situation and I helped Shokei out."

  "No wonder." Sadako said.

  "Your use of magic must be strong." Mizuki said to Lei. "I take that you must have some sort of gifted magic within you."

  "Yes. I have." Lei nodded.

  "Looks like you can do something more to support us." Rei said.

  "Of course." Shokei said, looking at her sword. "It seems that the steel of the bde maintained its durability."

  "Lucky you." Obsidian said. "Sometimes I fear if my weapons would break or not, so I have it fixed up before heading off."

  Shokei sees the key on the ground, and she picks it up.

  "Anyways, we got the key." Shokei tells her party. "Let's get out of here."

  "Right." Rei said.

  Shokei and her party went back to the door. Using the key, the door is unlocked. There, the party continues to walk down a long passageway. From navigating through the passageway, they came to an archway that is up ahead and there lies another door. Shokei opens the door and as the party walks through the door, they walk into another wide space room. The whole room consist of nothing but sand on the ground.

  "Where do we go now?" Lei asked.

  Shokei can see there is a door straight ahead of her.

  "There!" Shokei points out. "C'mon!"

  Just as the party tries to get to the other side, the party came to a halt. There, they can see movement emerging from the sand, but this time, it appears to be a whole lot more that is around in the entire room. Coming out of the sand, the party can see that there are more Wererats than before. The difference is that they are not big in size and some of the monsters hold a sword on them.

  "Aww crap!" Sadako said. "There's more of them!"

  "There's like...twenty of them." Ferron said. "We're going to have to fight our way through these beasts."

  "Hey Lei." Shokei said and asked. "You think your infused magic will help me out again?"

  "Certainly!" Lei replied. "Hold out your weapon for me."

  Shokei holds her Mithrodin out. Lei touches the end of the bde and smoothly ignites the fme.

  "Great, I'm all set!" Shokei said, getting ready to fight.

  "The rest of you all." Lei tells the party. "Get your weapons out so I can give it a boost."

  With the exception of Rei, the party with their weapons are given an fire boost.

  "Finally." Obsidian said, feeling the fme effect on his sword.

  "Looks like we're all set." Shokei said.

  "Here they come!"

  The party goes right after the Wererats once they all emerged out of the sand. Shokei grips her sword, with the fme infused on the bde, and she rips through the Wererats in her path. The rest of her party fought against the monsters while their weapons, infused with fmes, are doing its work. Sadako's fire spell works again, and she is able to use her magic in the fight. The room that she is in is no longer disabling her magic. The Wererats are weak against fire as they are easily killed off one by one.

  Within a few minutes, Shokei has finally killed off the st three Wererats as she cuts through her enemies with a heavy ssh to their abdomens. Once the Wererats were dealt with, the party looks around and made sure that their enemies have been destroyed. Lei's fire infused spell has done its work and the fming effect have faded out from the party's weapons.

  "There." Shokei said, putting her sword away. "That should take care of them."

  "Easier said than done." Rei said, rubbing her hands together after fighting the Wererats.

  "C'mon! Let's keep going." Shokei tells her party.
