  Almht away in the dungeon, Nyx wao show off her intrinsic skill to me.

  “You already cleared the dungeon ooday, I o get some levels” she said, pouting.

  “FIne, you take the lead right away. I handle everything here pretty easily as is. All I care about really is the sp from the boss” I tell her.

  “Well, then” and she rose her hand. And right in front of her, several suites of armor form from a bckish purple substa is the same as how I once saw the slimes form, but now they are human adjat.

  “Oh, you got cooler summons now, awesome” I say, cheg them out. Each of the knights have some sort of ons, like a knight should.

  “Yep, all of them are pretty strong, in terms of E ranks. But I think a single one would be weaker then any monsters in this dungeon” she tells me.

  “Do they have levels? The monsters here are all 50, until the boss”

  “All of them are around 40, but I don’t really know how that pares”

  “What do you mean?” I ask her. Monsters all grow iable ways. paring one of each type of monster, like a level 10 goblin pared to the level 50 would be linear growth. This even takes into at evolutions of the monsters.

  “I think that my summons grow differently” she say, almost like she knows what I am thinking. “More like how hunters stats ges increase over time”

  “Huh, well, maybe this could be iing” I say, looking forward to seeing them in a.

  And with this, we start moving in the dungeon, ready for our raid.

  ?

  Well, I think that Nyx may have a very broken ability.

  “I think they are having an easier time than I did by myself” I say, watg the 15 knights pletely destroy the skeletons.

  “Yep, they move in pletely unison, with whatever I want them to do. So if it's to protect me they all just move on their own to do that” she tells me.

  “That's pretty cool” but I noticed a problem right away. She wouldn’t grow stronger herself. But I don’t bring it up right now, sihat would be kinda rude. Hunters shouldn’t give unsolicited advice, it's pretty rude since you don’t know what they want to do with their growth.

  “I know its so cool, and it makes hunting super easy, at least for now. BUt I do what to see what there limit is, just to test them out.” she tells me.

  And thanks to the summons, the two of us get to the boss room very quickly. We didn’t move super quickly through the dungeon, but thanks to the summons, Nyx did get a few levels for her summons.

  Moving into the boss room, we prepared for the fight. Nyx and I agreed we both wao get the rewards for clearing the dungeon boss, so we o fight together for this oHis meant I wasn’t going to one shot the boss with magic like st time.

  “You ready” I said to her before the fight started.

  “Yes” she said bae.

  And so we started the boss fight.

  I knew a little of how the boss acts during the fight, but not much. I k could summoons to help, but not much else.

  As the fight starts, the skeleton mage starts to chuckle and raises its staff. Then bringing it down, the grouh it starts to crack. And from it es a bunch of skeletons.

  From what I read, as long as you dealt with one skeleton, it ts as being good enough for the boss rewards, so I let the knight summons deal with them.

  And I made my way to the boss.

  I rushed towards the bht away, but it saw me ing. Raising its staff again, it fires a few bsts of magic at me.

  This didn’t have any element to it, so it was just pure energy. Using visual awareness I was able to follow the attack, and cutting them down with my sword dealt with them. And when I got close to the mage, it moved bad dodged my first attack.

  It then swung down with its staff, creating a magic attack against me. Using my better movement, I was able to sidestep the attad swing again, hitting the skeleton and cutting off one of its arms.

  This also knocks the skeleton out of my reach. When it gets back up, and before I could attack again, it starts to crackle again. Its a weird hollow ugh, and not very pleasant to hear.

  But with the rise of a single finger, it points at me.

  And more bsts of magic fire from it. There are many more tha volley, showing that the boss is much more desperate now. I am able to block most of them, but a few do make it though and hit me.

  But I barely feel any pain from it. I am a higher level and have endurance which helps with pain, so I could deal with a lot of damage from this boss.

  BUt I do hear a gasp from Nyx behind me.

  Knowing it wouldn’t be great t this out anymore, since I am taking a little damage, I use quick step to instantly close the distaween me and the boss and cut off the other arm.

  And then, with a cool flourish, I cut the armless skelton in half, and kill it.

  “Whew” I sigh looking back at the dead skeleton.

  And from behind me, Nyx rushes over to me.

  “Zenith, are you ok? I say you got hit. You're fine, right?” she said, worry entering her voice.

  “Yeah, im fine. ONly a little damage” I tell her.

  “Thats good. If you got hurt here, I don't know what I would do” she said. “I think I o start preparing for raids more. I don’t even have any potions”

  “Oh, I handle all of that. My skill make potions for me. I have a bunch made already” I tell her. Showing off I pull out a otion from my item box.

  “Hmm, it seems like I still have a bunch to learn about being a hunter” she said.

  “Don’t worry. You will learn in time. Just take it one day at a time” I tell her, trying to reassure her. “Oh, its about time for lunch, do you want to go eat something?”

  “Oh yeah, thats a good idea. And there are a few things I want to discuss with you about hunting” she said.

  ANd with that the two of us left the dungeon.
