Vex takes her stance like one wielding two swords, but instead, it has two daggers in each hand; still, the dual-wielding skill works the same.

“Look at them having another duel with each other, I wonder who is to be the winner this time.” Cory hears and sees the wolf guard on the day he shows up to Holsworthy now standing beside him.
“Oh, it's you that guard…. Never got your name when I came to the front gate of the town.”
Cory honestly said that since they never did have the chance for a conversation with each other there was to be a feeling he would want to exchange words with him in the future.
Funny how things can take a turn on people as this wolf guard was talking to him in a manner a bit friendlier. Something Cory thinks down the road, the two could become friends depending on whether they meet with each other often like this.
“The name Blake Cantu, human; I already know yours. It was Cory, is that off.” The wolf guard told him.
“Yeah, happy you remember my name, and I noticed you here training hard like everyone else.”
“Ah, Tessa is someone who dislikes letting themselves become lazy, losing form after gaining into it perfectly. She holds sharp fangs against those allowing such disgrace putting that same person through a tougher training to gain back that very form. Trust me, it is something no one wishes to make a mistake in doing. Tessa shows mercy by giving one another a chance at training again if the person is serious about getting back in. Any other way, she would turn them away and never set foot on these grounds again.”
“Jeez, this snake lady sounds like such a bully to people just because they stop training over time.”
Dolly added her voice, which brought the wolf's attention to her.
“Ah, little miss piggy Dolly, how nice to see you here for the first time and how your mother, by the way.” Blake was happy to see a familiar face.
“Hello, Blake, it's good seeing you too. Also, my mother is doing fine as always.”

At that moment, Blake's eyes pause while talking with the two people beside him, watching the duel between Vex and Tessa as the snake makes another move against the kobold.

It seems one of the daggers was turned sideways right at the time, the tail twisting around the body to soon feel the sharp blade stab into the tough skin of the tail, causing the release along with the pain.
“HA!... That's what you get for…” Vex gets cut in a way with a tail smacking roughly across her face that the whole-body spins before she hits her face flat to the ground.
Everyone watching made a reaction to what just happened, the same for Cory and Dolly, yet at the same time, both held some worry about how this duel was turning into one to be truly more serious than it was supposed to be.
