As curious as it might seem, today, people are just resting all around the world. Families were enjoying their day, factories were slowing down their pace, and the once constant hum of car engines was now a rare sound, bringing a sense of calm to the streets. Surprisingly, even on the battlefields around the globe, forces were stopping their advancement for a long-awaited break.
The clear summer sky lacked any clouds, and the sun shone brightly. Young couples were enjoying their time on dates while the public parks were filled with laughter. As an old couple were feeding the local pigeons, a large booming sound interrupted the serene painting.
An orange dash of debris was dirtying the sky as it was crashing down on the horizon. People started to panic, but a couple of seconds later two more booms could be heard, while more followed. A stream of unidentified objects was making their way to the planet's surface.
People started to open their phones to record everything, while others were reaching out to their friends and news channels to find out what was happening. The internet started to be filled with Live Records from around the globe where people were sharing the same unusual report. Europe, Africa, America, all continents were affected by the event.

The social platforms started to be filled with doom comments, as people were terrified about the current happenings. Parents were trying to shelter their children, and panic filled the streets. As everything was going on, the governments were trying to understand how they had not noticed anything about this. Their devices did not register even the slightest danger even as the objects were reaching contact with the ground.
A group of young kids were playing on the side of a river as the event was happening. They stopped and were amazed at the spectacle as they started to count how much longer it would take for the objects to hit.
“Ten – Nine – Eight” With excitement in their voice they were waiting for everything to happen. In their innocence, the imminent danger could not affect them.

The whole planet was silent…Nobody was able to utter a single word as their impending doom was near. But then nothing. A couple of people opened their eyes in fright, to see what was happening. One teenager was looking at his favorite streamer Live, who was casting everything near a spot where one of the objects was to hit the ground.
No contact. Each object stopped in its tracks exactly one meter above the ground.
The ground started to shake violently as the objects implanted themselves in the terrain leaving only their upper part visible. Some courageous, or rather foolish people confidently started to get closer to the objects.
“This is it People! We’ve escaped Death! Let’s see what kind of Aliens reached out!” said one of the internet celebrities as they reached the base of one of the objects.
The sheer size of them was soaring over any man-made structure. After they grounded themselves in the earth, their surface started to cool off and everyone was able to discern the object's exceptionally smooth marble-like surface with deep lines that were covering them from the top to bottom.
Instead of generic end-of-the-world meteorites, Earth was bombarded with Towers. There was no other way to describe them. As everyone started to calm down and start inspecting them, a screeching metallic sound started to spread around the globe from each of the colossal constructions.
A white light started to glow engulfing every living being. In a matter of seconds, the whole surface of the planet was lit up, but as soon as it started, it stopped.
“W-what just happe-…” He was not able to end his phrase as their ears were hit by a commanding voice:

Silence. After the voice stopped the light came up again, but this time it was only covering the humans. Each person was scanned for a couple of seconds then it stopped again.

PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION TOO YOUNG FOR THE SYSTEM: 25%
PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION APT FOR SYSTEM: 55%

A couple of moments of silence followed the message as the words resounded in the atmosphere of the planet. Unanticipated a final message was sent out:
