Starkiller sat in his tree house. He didn't know who it belonged to. The original family, whose backyard he was squatting in, were mauled by sabertooth cats. At least, he thought the Saberteeth had killed them. He didn't know he showed up after the fact to the blood, bones and sabre teeth covered in blood licking their paws.
He killed them all, but the house was so ruined that he hadn't considered living there. The tree house, however, was massive, more than large enough for his new home. He just needed to grab an extension cord so he could power a few things inside of his new home: a TV, fridge, and microwave oven. The power was still on, at least, as was the plumbing, though for how much longer, he didn't know. His new home was altogether decent, in his opinion.
Starkiller brought up his status as he looked up his new skill while he waited for his appointment.
Starkiller smiled as he reviewed the single strongest [Meditation] skill in the Legend of Noralon. Unfortunately, he was only level 25 and all of his skill slots were full, with the exception of the level 30 capstone. It was a little annoying, knowing that he wouldn't be getting any additional skills for the next five levels, but at least he could stockpile the points for later. At the moment he had an important meeting.
Two copies of him leapt into the treehouse just as he finished up. The level 20 capstone for [Heir to the Monkey King] was [Body outside of Body]. It was a skill that allowed him to create one clone per skill level. Unfortunately, until the skill was maxed out, his clones would take a penalty to their resources. Even when he maxed out the skill, they would only have half his total resource pool available to them. Right now, they're limited to 7% of his total resources.

"Hello, clones." Starkiller said happily, "Where are the other eight? I was under the impression this was an orgy, not a threesome."
"Died to the goblins. Too bad they were good-looking boys," one of the clones said.
"Did you learn anything further about the skill?" Starkiller asked.
"We come out with the same status as you had when you created us—the same HP, MP, Stamina, and skills," the First Clone said.
"But we can't level up or grind skill levels," the second said. We're a frozen image of you. And since you can't remember the deaths of the other clones, that means you can only regain our memories if you return us to hair."
Starkiller nodded, waving his hand. The two clones did just that, returning to strands of hair.
Immediately, he was inundated with their memories of the battle. The other clones he had created had been dog-piled by the goblin horde, and their skills burned through in a futile attempt to keep them alive. And one other had tried to take out Seraphel and had died. That wasn't too surprising, as he made most of them when he just got the skill at level 20. So, they were less robust than the ones that returned to him.
He double-checked, but no. He got no XP class or skill, though [Body outside of Body] jumped up to level 14. He double-checked the hairs he had plucked from his own head to create the clones. Both of them were locked in at level 23, and their skills were equally locked. They couldn't level up their skills, nor could they gain new ones.
Unfortunately, it took a lot of his personal resources to create each clone, so he wouldn't be able to replace them until they were destroyed naturally. Despite the technique's origin he couldn't just summon a hundred versions of himself like the real monkey king. Each hair required him to sacrifice half of his total HP, MP and Stamina in preparation. Of course, with his new skill, that wouldn't be nearly as time-consuming.
In the meantime, he needed to consider what his next class would be. Without [Legendary Strength], his speed wasn't quite where he wanted it to be. While [Heir to Sun Wukong the Monkey King] was one of the top ten classes in the game, but another of the top ten classes might be just what he needed, one as famous as Wukong's. Unfortunately, he doubted he would be able to acquire the class naturally. Which meant he would have to find someone who could give him the class. He resummoned his clones.
"I need you to get online, start searching for the [Heir to Jason of Iolcus]."
One of the clones smiled.
"You want us to find someone who can give you the [Heir to Heracules] class?"
"Yep," Starkiller said, smiling.
Tom could have his guild. He would have an army of one.
